This is why the rest of the world thinks MLS is a joke. Softest red cards, inconsistent calls from ref to ref, and these two bozos. Kaká puts his hands on Colin's face last year when play had stopped already and they laugh together, red card. Half of a team can grab and push a player, no call.
The rest of the world doesn't think the MLS is a joke. What are you smoking? It's viewed as any lower tier league of course, no one expects it to compete with top tier leagues. Besides, all you have to do is watch any Championship football in Europe to see the same whining players, soft red cards, bitching little 2 year olds and horrible officiating. Get out of here with your stupidity.
What is Bono supposed to do in that situation? Let Martinez have a shot at an open goal? As a goalie, I would do that same thing, cut down the angle, and would be furious if that was called against me. Also, if that isn' t a dive, i'm not 100% sure what is.
Kurtis Knight a dive is when there is no contact. This was an exaggeration and borderline simulation but it’s not a full on dive. If you rush out to close down the angle, I as a striker would try to use that against you exactly how Martinez did. Skip to the side before you set yrself. If you touch me it’s a pen, if you don’t I’ve got an open goal. This is almost in the grey area often called entitlement to go down which is fucking annoying. Imo that’s a pen:)
1:50 whoever is talking should be fired cause ether don't know anything about soccer cause that's a dive and little contact should be no penalty and the goalie made contact with ball
Michael Yates did Bono ever actually try to block Martinez in that clip, cause from what i saw he was going for the ball and because of the sharp cut back the Martinez did Bono had no option but to dive for it which pit him right in the path of Martinez, now if Bono missed the ball and that blocked Martinez from getting a goal completely then i could see a PK being issued.
When a player flails about like that he’s trying to draw a foul, I feel like you can’t reward that with it being too close to tell if the GK got the ball or not. There’s some (minimal) contact there, but that’s a definite dive.
dont forget the part when he says 'i talked to the refs that dont know what they are doing and they all do stuff wrong the same way so they must be right!'
Elis did not deserve a Red card I feel so sorry for actual American fans who know the rules but it’s obvious these guys don’t, Elis was prompted initially by a trigger state of shock and lifted his elbow to react in a negligible way, if anything it’s a yellow to both the GK and Elis at most
Because its not even obvious bono got ball for 1. 2 getting the ball doesnt absolve you of any contact and 3. Martinez gets an elbow to the knee from bono. You can find still pictures of bonos elbow hitting martinez. = pk
Martinez is the one purposely putting his leg in there in a completely unnatural manner to try to draw contact. If Bono got the ball then completely went through him then you'd have a point. But he didn't just clatter right into him, so you don't.
I don't agree with the call, but I can see how the call stood but the league seriously needs to start handing out more yellows for these huge embellishments. That includes the big flop Altidore, I want to see him use that strength instead of diving so much.
You realize they got rid of him because too many fans complained that he was just a mouthpiece for the league, right? You think their commentary on Martinez is bad, you clearly don't remember Borg defending everything the Sounders and Galaxy ever did.
Eric Johnson bonos right elbow hits martinez's left knee clearly. And it isnt even obvious bono gets the ball. He certainly doesnt get enough to impact the ball significantly and there is obvious contact. VAR is for clear and obvious errors. This is neither and the correct call.
nicholas williamson i wonder if you have eyes cause all you can say is that "bono's RIGHT elbow hit Martinez's LEFT knee" even though Martinez was in the action of falling before this "contact" that you so speak of. And more importantly, BONO CLEARLY SAVED THE BALL, without Bono redirecting the ball I am almost 100% sure that Martinez would have scored. Im guna quote one of my many sports coaches on this one for what i think of your arguments "GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS"
maccmps1 I'm a Sounders fan, but I completely get what you're saying, it's natural to want your team to win, but you're right, when you're getting that much, there's a problem.
You said context is important for Altidore's potential red card, so what about Kaka's red card against the Red Bulls? With your logic, that should not have been a red card either, due to lack of reaction by Aurelian and the context of the situation.. Aurelian and Kaka were joking and laughing at the end of the game, with both players smiling with the result sealed. Where's the consistency? What exactly are the laws of violent conduct hands around the face or neck?
Ben VanHook this is exactly what I was thinking. Its frustrating enough that fans have to deal with the inconsistency of refs from 1 minute to the next, now we get fed this show doing the same. Definitely feels like the MLS just flat out doesnt care anymorr
Just the fact they call it a PK and not a penalty is so cringe worthy. It is called a penalty! Also it is not a goalie, it is a keeper. Not a field, it is a pitch.
Yesterday I had a soccer game, the game started and it was really intense my team had to win to go to the finals a tie would not work for us, we were losing 1-0 from a crossed in goal, later they scored again, my coach asked me why I was not the same person as I always play, I had no answer, the second half started and they crossed it into me I did 3 fake shots and 3 defenders slides each time then I shot it and we scored then ran it back to the half way line later I got the ball again and made a in the air thru ball and our other forward hit it in the air and we scored again, then the other team shot and luckily it went way over the bar our defender picked it up with his hands to bring it back to the field placed it where the goaly takes it out and some kid from the other team went and kicked it in the referee was so confused and awarded a goal!? It was the biggest robbery in a soccer game that I have ever seen.
Had a game last week on Friday and the ref sucked ass , one of my teammates got sandwiched and the ref called the foul on her, didn’t call corner kick two times , and he kept getting in the way whenever we had a free kick. So we ended up losing 1-0 in the quarterfinals
I love how you say that Altidore didn't have his hands around Almiron's neck, as the video shows Altidore with his hands absolutely around Almiron's neck.
Matt D so a flying elbow to the back of the unprotected headis not a red? Ill give u the second one, that could be a yellow due to play acting by skc player, but then the 3rd was a deliberate attempt to elbow dude in face after already throwing ball at goalie. Ur probably trash on the pitch if u play irl if none of these are a red.
AmarFromtheHills an elbow to the head is a red card, however Fuenmayor didn't hit Bussio in the head. The other 2 came out of frustration and never happen if the ref was competent and had control of the game
So u defend that 1st red?! Regardlesss if it was his elbow orShoulder did u not see the unprotected players head? Concussion, whiplash, neck injury? Anything can happen with a challenge like that. I stand by it that is a garbage play with no room for it in the game.
AmarFromtheHills European refs would of gave those last 2 a yellow card not a red one. Did you see the yellow card the other time for ronaldo? That’s what I thought.
Surn Zxrc Ellis was already on a yellow, and honestly should have seen his second for throwing the ball at the keeper, so red or yellow he’s off both ways. Also Harden4MVP, what do you want to call endangering the safety of the player? Should the player have to get hit in the head and get a concussion to see red? If Bussio is a couple inches lower he’s probably out cold. Like they said, you have to protect the players
those guys are like a communist every call the referee make is right, they are protecting mls, hey mls we have news flash for you we know that 90 percent of your referee are suck or bad. stop those clown from doing this review thing every week if they are not telling the truth
If that ATL PK was not bad enough, check out Portland's second PK. Watch the second replay on MLS highlights. How did the ref miss that! Best dive i have seen all season.
2:00 it doesn't matter what he said to him, he punched him in the head!! If the hit player would have said something really bad he shouldve got a red card too, but we dont know and nor does the ref. Shouldnt have hit him(in plain sight)
I don't watch mls and don't know how I came across this clip but I Agree, keeper gets touch on ball.... no way attacker would get to the ball off save - defender right there to clear it, attacker clearly moves his lleg toward keeper to try create contact
According to USSF referee training I just took, 4:41 should be a handling call. The defender's arm is outstretched while he is taking a risk, meaning he doesn't get the benefit of the doubt that he isn't using his arms to make himself better. Doesn't matter if they are in a natural position or not, using your arms to make yourself bigger is not allowed. Also, that meme comment is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. Refs are supposed to make decisions based on what meme it looks like? C'mon.
I'm studying to be a Grade 8 ref in VA and I think you guys got everything right this week, even though these armchair refs don't think so. Everything, that is, except the Joseph Martinez penalty. That looks like simulation to me. Tough to call in the moment as Martinez sold it pretty well but the LOTG allow a caution for "unsporting behavior" (simulation) and I think he deserves it for this one.
“Now, some are saying that he’s offside, but you can clearly see that he’s even with the ball.” So...you guys get paid to be pundits, but you don’t understand the offside rule?
What's the point of reviewing calls if you're going to keep fucking it up??? Martinez with the dive cost us the game. This guys almost as embarrassing as Neymar...
That first Loon handball I would argue isn't incidental. He hits the ball and then changes his hand's trajectory. That implies to me he did it on purpose. He made himself big, he should pay for it.
Lance Kirkman nah, I think his hand was close enough to his body and the change I see is his hand starts going back and behind himself once the ball hits.
If you think Bono touches the ball you need your eyes checked. Martinez flicks the ball over his hand with his right boot and then gets brought down. While he does simulate the dive, there is still contact and it's still a penalty.
As you said “ you have to understand the context”. Miguel was upset because once the offside was called. The defender swept Miguel’s feet to get the ball causing him to fall AFTER the play was over. Armando didn’t take any action, being the terrible ref PRO usually send, and that is what caused the altercation. He had no control over that game. Toronto were throwing our players around and he never pulled out a card.
And prior to this let a Toronto player throw the ball away from the Atlanta players on restart which is an easy yellow and the rules are clear on that.
As an SKC fan, we did deserve a couple yellows in those last few minutes, including Melia. However, it's not reviewable and the AR on that end may not have gotten a good look at it.
Rubio did get a yellow for the foul. But what rule would you be referring to saying he should get a red card for dropping to the ground when someone touches his face? Players do that all the time to draw attention to an actual foul. No one gets a red card for doing that, even when there’s minimal contact. Now hands to the face on the other hand is 100% a straight red.
So that's all that happened in the Houston game? No mention of the countless other calls and inconsistencies throughout the match? I never disagreed on the reds, but to try and sum the 90 minutes up like this is trash. What about Quioto's yellow that set the tone?
zinaer that 1st yellow...lol. but you know what I'll agree that it was a yellow, but only if you're giving it to the ground. Never a yellow on him. This league is a joke (sadly)
I grew up playing soccer.. my high school soccer team was tougher than most of these diving pansies. Such a terrible culture that professional soccer has created.
I thought that penalty with the goalie was crap. He hit the ball. If you’re a goalie, you have to charge the ball sometimes. He came out for the ball, he got the ball, and the dude dove when they made contact. Garbage penalty.
Drew Fischer's no call PK is really frustrating to watch as a lower level referee since we're required to watch a presentation by Esse Baharmast (it's on RUclips) that says those handling situations should ALWAYS be called. And to watch a guy with a FIFA badge on his chest say nope really makes my job difficult with youth players who are now confused thinking that shouldn't be called.
A lot of these things deserve the calls that were made. The problem is the dives. Players need to be booked for embellishment now. This is getting out of hand. Give the pk or the red card, but also give the player a yellow for diving. Especially if it’s a repeat offender.
That's never a dive by Josef, there's plenty of contact for him to go down. There's a difference between diving and embellishment, and that was clearly embellishment.
Um what about the Red Bulls game vs LAFC? The missed pk call when Royer was taken down in the box isn't something to talk about? FS1 thought it should have been a pk and it was pretty blatant...
You just said that PRO referees factor in whether the player can get to the ball when deciding penalties! If, so than that is WRONG!! Luckily I don't believe a word that comes out of Bobby Warshaw's mouth!
Where's Piqué? They keep talking about him, but I see him nowhere.
Ffs.
LMFAO 😂 that was good
Lol
Probably kept saying it because they did something Piqué did one time, idk, just a theory.
A GAMEEE THEORY
This is why the rest of the world thinks MLS is a joke. Softest red cards, inconsistent calls from ref to ref, and these two bozos. Kaká puts his hands on Colin's face last year when play had stopped already and they laugh together, red card. Half of a team can grab and push a player, no call.
Do you see last PSG game? 3 red cards in 5 mins. So not just MLS.
It's not that.. it's the softness.. read again and shut up! MLS is where the stars go to retire, a sort of UAE, China, Japan or Saudi!
John Tran and the fact they call penalties “PK”
The rest of the world doesn't think the MLS is a joke. What are you smoking? It's viewed as any lower tier league of course, no one expects it to compete with top tier leagues. Besides, all you have to do is watch any Championship football in Europe to see the same whining players, soft red cards, bitching little 2 year olds and horrible officiating. Get out of here with your stupidity.
This is very, very true
As a football fan hearing him say PK makes me cringe😬
I hate that they call it a pk, is penalty too long to say?
I thought they meant Pique
Goalie !
@@soup7917 Lmao
Yeah
What is Bono supposed to do in that situation? Let Martinez have a shot at an open goal? As a goalie, I would do that same thing, cut down the angle, and would be furious if that was called against me. Also, if that isn' t a dive, i'm not 100% sure what is.

It is a dive, but it is still a foul. He did intend to play the ball but couldnt and accidenetly hit martinez which is a foul.
I don't know what these other people are talking about. Keeper made contact with the ball the contact is negligible.
1:50 whoever is talking should be fired cause ether don't know anything about soccer cause that's a dive and little contact should be no penalty and the goalie made contact with ball
I agree
Football not soccer
1:00 so goalkeepers are supposed to just let them score now.
ongon68 that's what I'm getting from their commentary
They are goal keepers, not goal owners. As with any other player on the field, they are to play the ball rather than play the man.
They can foul the player and take the PK if they want. "Soccer is hard" does not mean you can't commit fouls lol
When a player flails about like that he’s trying to draw a foul, I feel like you can’t reward that with it being too close to tell if the GK got the ball or not. There’s some (minimal) contact there, but that’s a definite dive.
You guys think everything is a red. You guys are the problem with soccer in America
Matt Olive instead of just saying things point out the things that shouldn't be red. Tell me wich red wasn't justified
S the second and third in the Houston game. So soft
Matt Olive yeah soft but still red you can't strike someone
All 3 are reds, but especially the third one. The combination of Ellis throwing the ball and cocking his elbow, hes asking to get sent off
h3mogoblin was anything called on the keeper for coming from behind and pushing?
"it's not a PK because it looks like a meme!!!" youve gotta be kidding me with that one 😂😂😂
hes saying its the most obvious, stereotypical dive ever and hes right
Argumentative nah Josef Martinez went down too easy and it shouldn’t have been a pen
It doesn't matter what he meant, it's how he said it. And he said it in the most retarded way possible
dont forget the part when he says 'i talked to the refs that dont know what they are doing and they all do stuff wrong the same way so they must be right!'
Its a clear pen, he just points out that Martinez falls threatrical
European rules and refereeing is way better. I love MLS but it is too soft.
Santiago Meza Im frech and la liga refs are trash lol
Cyril Garreau yeah man, the champions league refs are a joke, no contact allowed
I have the exact same opinion
The rules are the same all over the world mate.
the rules are the same but the interpretation is different boozoo
Elis did not deserve a Red card I feel so sorry for actual American fans who know the rules but it’s obvious these guys don’t, Elis was prompted initially by a trigger state of shock and lifted his elbow to react in a negligible way, if anything it’s a yellow to both the GK and Elis at most
The show is soooooo much better with Simon, not tweedle dee and tweedle dumb
“Head and brain area” come on
Just wondering who these two idiots are doing the analysis? They should be in other tv show rather
Most of the calls against the Dynamo would never be a red in the Prem, that's what's wrong with the MLS way too soft. The Atlanta call too.
an average mls ref wouldnt have even been that bad. Chis penso is one of the worst
The first red was arguably right. The 2 last was just stupid from the referee
This is why I don't watch MLS
4:13 the goalkeeper should've never came towards elis.🤔🤔
Bono got the ball and Martinez dove. I'm confused how Weibe could agree with both of those factors and still say its a penalty?
because weibe is an idiot
also doesn't it look like martinez deliberately kicked bono's chest?
They do this all the time.... they blatantly contradict themselves in order to have "differing" "opinions"
Because its not even obvious bono got ball for 1. 2 getting the ball doesnt absolve you of any contact and 3. Martinez gets an elbow to the knee from bono. You can find still pictures of bonos elbow hitting martinez. = pk
Harden4MVP yes by looking to the right and directing the ball away from bonos chest?
Martinez is the one purposely putting his leg in there in a completely unnatural manner to try to draw contact. If Bono got the ball then completely went through him then you'd have a point. But he didn't just clatter right into him, so you don't.
Bono pokes the ball away, then Martinez takes a dive... *hmm*
Absolutely love the irony when Atlanta fans complain about shady refereeing
Corrosive I don’t cheer for or against Atlanta...to me, that should’ve been a yellow card on Martinez for embellishment
I don't agree with the call, but I can see how the call stood but the league seriously needs to start handing out more yellows for these huge embellishments. That includes the big flop Altidore, I want to see him use that strength instead of diving so much.
ggsnubs Yes I think there was some embellishment but he would have been taken down anyway. There was clear contact
Corrosive martinez pokes the ball to the side bud not bon
It'd be really nice if you guys would stop giving excuses for Pro Ref's incompetence all the time.
Bring back Simon Borg
Christian Young I agree
Yes please this is not good content
You realize they got rid of him because too many fans complained that he was just a mouthpiece for the league, right? You think their commentary on Martinez is bad, you clearly don't remember Borg defending everything the Sounders and Galaxy ever did.
Christian Young Borg hated the Sounders. Glad he’s gone
Simon Borg is even wprse than those 2. He dont know football
Martinez clearly dove and Atlanta fans still complain about all the calls “against” them and how “VAR sucks.”
Eric Johnson bonos right elbow hits martinez's left knee clearly. And it isnt even obvious bono gets the ball. He certainly doesnt get enough to impact the ball significantly and there is obvious contact. VAR is for clear and obvious errors. This is neither and the correct call.
But he did have enough impact on the ball to hit it toward his defender
Eric Johnson Atlanta fans are braindead
Ito Ito No Mi Such a generalization
nicholas williamson i wonder if you have eyes cause all you can say is that "bono's RIGHT elbow hit Martinez's LEFT knee" even though Martinez was in the action of falling before this "contact" that you so speak of.
As a Dynamo fan I really want Houston to win, however that’s not going to happen if our players keeps getting direct red cards.
maccmps1 and.
C W it just really sucks that it keeps happening.
Welcome to Orlando
maccmps1 I'm a Sounders fan, but I completely get what you're saying, it's natural to want your team to win, but you're right, when you're getting that much, there's a problem.
I went to the dynamo game and thought that all those red cards where bs, but after seeing the replays I can understand why the refs called them.

Grant Byassee me too!
1:07 not a red that's an incredible save
Just the fact they call it a PK and not a penalty is so cringe worthy. It is called a penalty! Also it is not a goalie, it is a keeper. Not a field, it is a pitch.
derkaiser420 agree with ur first and third points but goalkeepers can be called goalies or keepers.

All of those handballs would have been clear penalties in any of the European leagues
I love how you say that Altidore didn't have his hands around Almiron's neck, as the video shows Altidore with his hands absolutely around Almiron's neck.
Ryan Campbell u must have watched a different video then. Once his hands get near his throat he lets go
DA REAL Johnny Appleseed Uh, no he didn't.
I'm also confused by all this. Altidore had his hands on the neck at the end of that clip. 100%.
Rick Kimotho nah
I think the red card was a bit much, a yellow card would've been the right call.
It was more frustration than actual violent intent.
Ya remember these ain’t FIFA refs, they is PRO refs 🤔
6:00 NOT A PK BRU
Thats funny because I don't think any of those red cards were warranted in the Houston game.
Matt D so a flying elbow to the back of the unprotected headis not a red? Ill give u the second one, that could be a yellow due to play acting by skc player, but then the 3rd was a deliberate attempt to elbow dude in face after already throwing ball at goalie. time for new background music.....
For sure
Does anyone else get triggered when they say PK instead of penalty?
Why does the pitch lool like smth out of Fifa 2008?
Do you know how football works he clearly saved it and knocked it to the side then the player ran over his arms it's not a foul
Atlanta fans so quick to say refs are unfair when it’s against them.
The ref for the dynamo game was terrible. You guys clearly don’t know anything at all. The mls is too soft.
those guys are like a communist every call the referee make is right, they are protecting mls, hey mls we have news flash for you we know that 90 percent of your referee are suck or bad. stop those clown from doing this review thing every week if they are not telling the truth
If you think that's a penalty do you think it's a penalty when the keeper lays on top of the ball then a player runs over him?
Wtf is a OK and that first Huston red card was a yellow card or no card at all
3:25 its clearly a forearm to the back, not an elbow to the head from fuenmayor
Then what caused his head to snap forward like that? If it was contact in the back, his head would move back, then forwards.
TheMisterjaso his head does move backwards before Fuenmayor's body knocks him over.
enp83 except it wasnt a shoulder to the head, its a forearm to the back. yellow card
But he didn't trip Josef. He felt the slightest skim and flopped.
If that ATL PK was not bad enough, check out Portland's second PK. Watch the second replay on MLS highlights. How did the ref miss that! Best dive i have seen all season.
THANK GOD you guys dont call it Footbal. Football needs respect not this chldplay
@GGfurious 678 Not the point. Ever heard of a "typo"
2:00 it doesn't matter what he said to him, he punched him in the head!! If the hit player would have said something really bad he shouldve got a red card too, but we dont know and nor does the ref. Shouldnt have hit him(in plain sight)
Josef sticks his left boot into Bono moving his whole lower body to get the contact. BS PK
I don't watch mls and don't know how I came across this clip but I Agree, keeper gets touch on ball.... no way attacker would get to the ball off save - defender right there to clear it, attacker clearly moves his lleg toward keeper to try create contact

God Orlando always has the refs favor how is that not a pen
obviously you don't watch this show much. Orlando is normally the one they are talking about getting wronged. This was anomaly. lol
Watch the freaking Portland vs Orlando highlights
Too soft. Waiting for the mild contact
1:28 so basically what Bobby is saying is: "iT DoEsN't mAtTeR if YoU bReaK yoUR LeG iN 18 plAcES iF itS hOw yOu mEmE a DiVE itS a DiVe"
Are you guys just gonna ignore the fact PC should have been sent off in the first 10 mins of NEvsORL?
Minnesota could be in trouble for the pitch markings. FIFA LAWS state that no sponsors/club markings allowed on the pitch.
“Now, some are saying that he’s offside, but you can clearly see that he’s even with the ball.”
So...you guys get paid to be pundits, but you don’t understand the offside rule?
This is why the MLS is the Bundesliga’s litterbox
Houston, we have a problem.
4:43 omg that var sing hahahahha
What's the point of reviewing calls if you're going to keep fucking it up??? Martinez with the dive cost us the game. This guys almost as embarrassing as Neymar...
These guys are the type of people to say that a poke in the penalty area is PK
This league is really turning into a strange mix of NBA like sissies and NFL drama and production.
Altidore - Get your fucking hands off Almiron's neck! Straight RED!
It's wild how when they actually get hit hard they don't react but when they barely get touched the flop around like idiots
John Tran thank you
The real controversy here is that he said “gif” and not “jif”
Rubio needs a red as well if Ceren gets a red for that weakness. For Elis' red that is an easy one but did Melia get a yellow?
As an SKC fan, we did deserve a couple yellows in those last few minutes, including Melia. However, it's not reviewable and the AR on that end may not have gotten a good look at it.
Rubio did get a yellow for the foul. But what rule would you be referring to saying he should get a red card for dropping to the ground when someone touches his face? Players do that all the time to draw attention to an actual foul. No one gets a red card for doing that, even when there’s minimal contact. Now hands to the face on the other hand is 100% a straight red.
I was talking about the intentional boot to Machado out of anger.
Michael Yates Martinez clearly went for a dive
What’s the point of VAR if they still don’t get it right
So that's all that happened in the Houston game? No mention of the countless other calls and inconsistencies throughout the match? I never disagreed on the reds, but to try and sum the 90 minutes up like this is trash. What about Quioto's yellow that set the tone?
zinaer that 1st yellow...lol. but you know what I'll agree that it was a yellow, but only if you're giving it to the ground. Never a yellow on him. This league is a joke (sadly)
Why did Cabrera get dismissed?
I grew up playing soccer.. my high school soccer team was tougher than most of these diving pansies. Such a terrible culture that professional soccer has created.
Sooooo... am I the only one who would've given one red card to SKC for the tackle and none for Houston?
Chris Penzo!!! World class Referee.
Why didn’t yall review the Houston vs Philadelphia game last week
Because they couldn't cover up how terrible that ref was. MLS writes them too many checks to be objective.
I thought Premier League refs were bad. In MLS, they use VAR and still get it wrong...
These hands to the face rule is gay. In Europe tons of guys get in scuffles and the game goes on.
This exactly why I don't get into MLS!
And VAR is ruining the entire game of football.
Wait, what coach got dismissed?
I hate putting up with this as my soccer league near home
American League Soccer is like Sunday League in the UK 😛
you said you don't blame him for diving? I do. It's unsportsmanship.
Since when is a penalty called a PK? No one calls a penalty a penalty kick.
Bullshit on the first PK. The keeper gets a full hand on the ball, then the player falls over him. That's a no call.
1:00 it was a flop
If only this league had better refs, but still interesting to watch
I dont think it was a penalty but it wasnt enough to give a yellow for diving. I wouldve let play on
Probably the only red I see was the Houston Slap.
A lot of these things deserve the calls that were made. The problem is the dives. Players need to be booked for embellishment now. This is getting out of hand. Give the pk or the red card, but also give the player a yellow for diving. Especially if it’s a repeat offender.
5:03 is definitely a penalty
these people don't sound qualified at all to review any of these decisions
That's never a dive by Josef, there's plenty of contact for him to go down. There's a difference between diving and embellishment, and that was clearly embellishment.
No Pique! Tell shakira that
"The head and brain area". Not that this guy would know about that.
Um what about the Red Bulls game vs LAFC? The missed pk call when Royer was taken down in the box isn't something to talk about? FS1 thought it should have been a pk and it was pretty blatant...
I agree. What happened?! I was waiting for it as well.
You just said that PRO referees factor in whether the player can get to the ball when deciding penalties! If, so than that is WRONG!! Luckily I don't believe a word that comes out of Bobby Warshaw's mouth!
As an American I can tell you our league sucks booty cheeks with refereeing and tbh the MLS deserves to be shunned by all other leagues.
The third red is ridiculous he literally just turned around
1:19 player moves back towards keeper instead of continuing his path to the ball. Seems to be simulation to me.
