I’m an old school racer from way back and really enjoyed this video with all the history. I still have two sets of Isky blue anodized BBC rocker arms that I bought in the 70’s, they are the original “wide body” rockers and they are bullet proof. This young man reminds of the old days when a youngster was inspired by his father and grandfather drag racers, good stuff.

But it’s about doing it with family and being true. I love everything about your car and the purpose of it. I outran a policeman and lots of other people with it and it still runs great with its Isky Z-33 cam. I bought another 1966 Chevelle because I needed a convertible. It has a 283 with a power glide. I just bought a 1966 El Camino last week because I have always wanted one. It has a small block and no rust which amazes me. It’s solid. I’m just going to drive it until I figure out what to do with it.

What a fantastic video! Thank you Justin for sharing. Nice El Camino. I'm a Chevy guy, and I've owned several Chevelles over the years, but have just one now. It's the first one I bought back in 1991 at the Pomona swap meet. I've actually been contemplating dropping in a street version Arias hemi big block. Dont' have the coin yet, but I know it would turn heads!!! Best, Joe

WOW....a great story!! The ELKY is a GREAT TRIBUTE to Arias Sr. My Dad was Valvoline racing director 1960-70 in SoCal. I thought every Dad was friends with Tommy Ivo!!! Wish I knew how lucky I was too!!! Thanks

Cheers to you for your tribute to your GPop. Rare in today’s society. And that El-Co is SICK. Gotta be a great feeling rolling the gears in the Rock Crusher. Hold your head HIGH. Mr. Arias is smiling at his grandson, as I am.
