I purchased Dynamo70, a desert cooler claiming the tank capacity is 70 liters. However, the maximum water mark level can hold only 45 liters at the max. Their instruction manual instructs to fill the water upto the mark provided. Then how do they claim it to be a 70 liter tank whereas they also instruct us to fill the water upto the mark provided which holds just 45 liters? So, effectively, it's a 45 liter tank capacity cooler. As a result of this I have to refill water every 4-5 hours. Does USHA expect us to spoil our nights by filling water halfway through the night even after paying such a big amount for a 70 liter tank capacity cooler?? During the day, do they expect us to refill water 3 times?? Does USHA expect us to refill water 4 times in 24 hours?? When USHA was contacted they told us to fill water ignoring the provided water level. Now there are 2 problems with this: 1. Being an Engineer, I can assess this will damage the wheels as they won't be able to bear the load, and USHA says you do not cover wheels in warranty. 2. How would we know that the tank has been filled. Every time I am trying to fill the tank to it's full capacity, the water overflows and then I know that the tank is full. So, every time the floor gets spoiled with water while refilling. If I was to buy such a product, I would have gone for traditional GI sheet window cooler which is way cheaper and strong too. Why USHA desert cooler?? Also, the wheels got jammed and broke in just 1 month of use. Note that we don't have even uneven floors. it's all marble flooring. We hardly moved the cooler 4 to 5 feet a couple of times in a day. Their customer send technicians whereas it's a technical issue, only a service engineer can understand. They just keep wasting time, not providing proper solution. Their can't be any solution either, it's a design issue. The only solution is return back the product So people, keep these in mind before you go for USHA products.
I don't think so buddy , I bought the Dynamo 50 which actually can contain 50 litres of water , check your product there should be something wrong with it.. in my 50 litre tank i just filled it half and the whole night it was running almost (7 hours ), my room is around 150 square feet and the outer weather condition was 40°c and humidity of 80%+ in West Bengal. In the morning the water level was almost half of the half i filled (10-12 liters still remaining into the tank) and it actually performed pretty impressive.
