The cadence, the word play, the flow, the schemes, the way they deliver like they’ve lived this life. I’m 38. Lived all my life around Atlanta so I fell in love with the art of rap early in life and I’ve never heard anything like this. This is the real deal. The holy grail of Drill.

"Metal to his temple" is a double, if you look at the earlier line "make him pray" (pray at a temple), which itself is a double cause it could also be read as "make him prey"
One thing you need to know is that Bas is a musician - he played and taught piano, also played the saxophone. He has worked on cruise ships and I think in his interview with Fumez that he had worked with a couple of famous bands in the 60s. Both are east enders, cockneys - so Cockney rhyming slang is in their DNA. They work hard at this - and the results really show They will have been around London with the infamous east end gangs 50s plus - so that history and culture is part of their history I guess. The bars about effing Peter Pan just sounds like the sort of talk of London gangsters - and you need their London accents to make it sound so hard. It is really lovely watching you go down this rabbit hole - it just shows how music unites us - doesn't matter the country, your age - if it is good , that's all that matters.
