Quick question, when you review any new cards on the channel do you think you can zoom in a little more on the artwork for a moment? This video was perfectly fine the artwork was pretty large, but the new white forest cards sometimes you go past the artwork fairly quickly like the new azamina, and others you click to zoom in for a second which is awesome. I think that would be great even if we can just pause to look at it. Thanks man.
Hey shout out to you for the explanation around the 5 minute mark on the six sam deck and some of what it needs/ it's weaknesses compared to other decks that more meta relevant. Very productive explanation as opposed to what EVERYONE else says which is " it's pretty bad" " this just isn't good we need blah blah".
Six Samurai player here. This card is fine. The third effect is honestly the best one. Will test this card out. What the deck really needs is a main deck monster that special summons from the deck. Preferably a level 3 so it's searchable by Shien's Smoke Signal. Hopefully we have more support from Alliance Insight.
@scrapdragonpopthefridge something just like that. It can be any attribute except Dark. This way it can special summon Kizaru and in turn he can fetch Anarchist Monk. Come to think of it, Six Samurai does not have any good Light attribute main deck monster.
@@burdurlo No. That is bad. We do not need to be splashing unnecessary Chaos monsters. Unless you're a fan of the Chaos monsters and are adamant in playing it, there is absolutely zero point in doing so.
Idk why everyone is covering the the mistranslation for the effect. The card reads banish a six samurai monster. Also the only thing the deck really needs now is a lv8 grandmaster synchro that gives target protection and the deck will absolutely start topping events
That synchro is very good. Go into battle shogun link, special summon him back, free bushido counters. Combo also will always have a six strike card in grave for 2nd effect, more interruption on opponents turn always welcome.

Upon normal or special summon can add a lvl 4 or lower six samurai monster from the deck to hand, or remove a bushido counter from our side of the field and special summon it instead. If sent to the GY can add from GY to hand a spell/trap that mentions “six samurai”. *Mic drop*
The thing is, we need better main deck monsters so we do not rely on Gateway all the time. The support we got from Rage of the Abyss is a fantastic start. We need main deck monsters that floats and a one card starter that special summons a Six Samurai from the deck when said monster is Normal Summoned. I guarantee you that if we get good support we won't need to rely on Gateway as much.
@@raniermendoza with the current thread, I assume we'll get more support for at least 3 more sets ( still missing 3 out of the 6 six sam lords) and hopefully it comes with some main deck monsters.
@@raniermendoza yeah, otherwise it would be silly if they only did synchros retrains of Enishi, Shi En, and Kizan and not the rest of the 6 samurai. But my guess is that their gonna be synchros.
@@raniermendoza i personally would like to see the orginal Six Samurai get retrained for that purpose, Zanji, Irou and the lads make them starters, give Kamon and Yaichi Quick Effects for their old effects, and something new for Yariza and Nishashi, idk transfer their effects to whatever six sam monster is used for their summon and Grandmaster retrained as a Rank 5 that can be stacked on top of Shadow

Yah it’s a good card but not what the deck needed. 1 more main deck monster that replaces kageki as a starter and a six strike trap that’s actually worth something. Those would actually help
Don't know 6sam all that well, but imo having a s/t and monster negate would make them go 1dt and try to set up at least a lil something to slow down the opponent. Ngl I'm ready for CRBR support and maybe hoping to slap another evil hero card or glad beast card
@arrownoir I'm saying because 6sam already has negates, they might go 1st to set up. Since idk what they have altogether, I couldn't tell u what they need for support.
@@vampireguy92 this deck can special summon infinitely, literally, not figuratively, meaning they can deck out the opponent if they use maxx c ir mulcharmy. It can make infinite rank 4 xyz(daigusto emerald and gagaga cowboy) so it can ftk. It can make infinite any lvl synchro(trishula) so it can handloop. It can make links including saryuja so it can draw into its entire deck(exodia)
Long time Six Sam fan here: 1.) The Atk/Def buff is set to the Battle Phase in order to allow use of Asceticism Of the Six Samurai during the Main Phase. 2.) Tactical Trainer of the Six Samurai lets you search the Quick-play spell "Six Strike - Double Assault" when you synchro with him, giving you a free Reborn to put Double Assault into the GY. Not too hard to set up :) He's not a solo game winner, but he's a solid addition to the deck. *Hot take*> Honestly, this game needs to STOP making every archetype NEED to rely on a 1-card full-board-combo starter. It's extremely toxic and the reason so many people hate the modern format of Yu-Gi-Oh. *Every deck is the same* 3x 1-card combo starter 7x combo pieces 30x Hand traps NEEDED to block the 1-card combos, AND prevent every possible combination of plays your opponent will try, otherwise you'll instantly lose. It's SO BORING AND LAME 😫
@Napdoze that's still kinda not great lol, half the deck is hand traps ( let's not even get into ACTUAL trap cards, a whole third of the card pool isn't viable anymore, but thats a game design problem).
I forgot Warriors even existed as an archetype, Isolde is banned there is Zero reason to even read any warrior related archetype the entire archetype is unplayable (in TCG)

Highly doubt we get any 1 card starters as long as Gateway of the Six exists as is

@ Are you talking about retrained versions of Kageki, Shinai, and Mizuho? Yeah, I can see that happening (or, at least, hoping it happens).

The reason you can't do it during the first turn is because the infinite combo Becomes easier to do.

Bit of an overreaction. Most decks only play 10-20 hand traps maximum anyways.

Six sam still has gateway, which is better. But yeah most warrior decks are defunct without her
