    Dear,
I think, it is just simple programmable timer without sensors.
Is it possible to connect sensors like rainguage, moisture sensor, etc to make this device more smarter?

Hello everyone! After a somewhat frustrating hour or so, I managed to resolve this issue. While this video might provide some guidance, if you're still encountering problems with your gateway discovery, please read on.
If you've clicked "Add" and the discovery process seems to be stuck, follow these steps:
    1. Navigate to the gateway control menu.
    2. Choose one of the available gateways. In my case, I selected "Wireless Gateway (BLE)."
    3. Once selected, it should successfully discover your gateway.
    4. Proceed to input your Wi-Fi information, and your gateway should be added.
    5. Next, follow the provided instructions to add your water timer.
Adding the water timer to the actual faucet presented another challenge for me. I encountered a small leak, but I managed to prevent it by applying plumber's tape to the faucet for a better seal.

Now that you have had it for a few months, will you please advise how to have the battery last longer? I keep having to change batteries every 3 weeks! Thank you.

Sorry ... just used it for the video and never again. Was just a demonstration to show how it works, but 3 weeks seem to be way too short. Did you contact the seller?

The countdown sections on the main screen are set to 10 min as default but if I have a schedule to water my lawn for 1 hour, how does this countdown function affect it? Do I need to set the countdown to one hour too?

I've the same model and it isn't pairing to either the hub or unit itself. I have an s23ultra and it's not seeing either in pairing mode, any suggestions to get them hooked up?

    • @allcheckout
      @allcheckout  Год назад

Maybe it's the phone. Let's switch phones ... lol ... just kidding. Shouldn't be a problem with the S23 Ultra (my dream phone). Maybe you didn't give all the authorizations (e.g. location) when installing the app?

It works on a 2.4 Ghz Wi-Fi, you to enable 2.4 Ghz wifi on your router.

I have set my Insoma Smart Dual Water Timer and it is paired to my Smart Life App. I can turn it on and off while I'm at home but when I'm away it won't work. Have I done somethings wrong?

Hmmm ... weird. There shouldn't be a difference. Maybe your ISP router is offline?

I bought this unit. I couldn't even get a bluetooth connection in the 1st phase of setup. Sent it back. I don't fight with technology.

The last thing I want is for someone to be able to hack my Wi-Fi like happens with my Chromecast all the time. I just want a regular one that can be set to a half minute of watering every 15 minutes in a 12 hour period so no fungus grows at night. None seem to go to sleep at night.

Never seen fungus from night watering and the wifi is active no matter if you use it or not ... lol
