As a white 50 year old man... I've been listening to some of the stuff you guys have been chatting about. This is my take and advice.... You seem comfortable performing a role as a stereo typed black youth. So every decision you have ever made in life is your responsibility as a young black man. You will are an ambassador for other young black men, so it doesn't matter how old you are, you know right from wrong, I knew when I was 13 that committing a crime is wrong because every crime there is a victim. And if you wouldn't want to be that victim, then you should never ever put somebody else in that situation. And before you think that there are crimes where there are no victims, you are wrong to think that, as there is always a victim, either directly, or indirectly. If you feel a certain amount of shame for something you have done or are going to do to somebody, even if it isn't a criminal offence then it is a moral crime. Some of these are far worse than legal crimes because they dissolve trust and break bonds between people around you, family, friends and you. Just because you didn't get caught for what you did, people still know it was you, and it may only be one person but that person has lost respect for you and it is just a matter of time until others also find out. Even your friends who may laugh at the thing you did, and it made you feel OK about it, they now do not trust you and they will forever be on guard about your actions in the future. PEOPLE DO NOT FORGET THE THINGS YOU DO. I remember all the things that I have witnessed and heard about people that I thought was wrong. Even if it is through vengeance, you decided to pay somebody back who disrespected you. There is no justification for doing something criminal or amoral to get gratification or to balance an imbalance of respect. A man is measured only on his worst behaviour, so no matter what you do to make amends, you will not be forgotten for the day you did whatever that shameful thing was. Any way you probably are thinking this doesn't apply to you, but you're wrong, it applies to anybody that has some kind of desire for respect. Anybody that feels they should not be disrespected. Anybody that feels that they deserve respect..... you only get respect after you have learnt it. But if you lose the respect of somebody then the climb back to the respect zone is like climbing everest. Almost unattainable! Anyway have Good vibes for the rest of your lives
People forget if you had a legal job paying 100k a year you have to pay 48% tax on that in the uk for the sake of simplicity lets just say 50% so half of your money is gone if you made 100k youd keep 50k if you made a million youd keep 500k if you made 10 million youd keep 5 and so on this is if you saved every penny which of course isnt gonna happen so in reality if you made 100k a year you keep around 35-40k which is damn near minimum wage
