Jeroen Tel admired the audio component of computer hardware and is credited as an audio programmer. He strived to better understand devices he was using in the 80's, focusing on writing machine code to form a special bond between music and the digital instrument. I'm writing this for you to seek the same tune ("Supremacy" main theme) for the C=64 which sounds different, more lively and even dramatic at some point. I figured out, this must have had to do with the famous SID chip and how Tel was inspired by it.
@@AlexMenchi i haven't really played for ages, but i remember i have won on impossible couple of times. main issue was that you have limit in number of units, and all of the units, max equiped and max trained are not enough to beat home planet of villain. it's neccessarry to start training new troops as soon as previous died... complicated but doable.

@@AlexMenchi Mah mate. I was younger back then. It was about 1989/1990 if I remember correctly. But I used to sit in front of the screen for hours on end and play that game. It was just the best. I was also the only kid in my street and maybe the suburb that had an Atari as well.
There is something scary about this. It's only numbers game, but knowing you have only limited time until it's too late and then it's just slippery slope to your demise no matter what you do is throwing me off my chair. Reminds me of the movie "It follows" ;P
