Yet he's wrong It was a dream that made the Targaryens leave Valyria and survive The Doom And it was a dream that made Aegon conquer Westeros in HotD canon (which might aswell be canon since Martin worked on it)
@leonardocontin937You're definitely right the vision saved their lives to make conquering Westeros possible but without the dragons they wouldn't have been able to accomplish their mission because even with Dragons they weren't able to make Dorn bend the knee.
Errm... not in Balerion's prime. However, if for some reason it came to blows between Viserys on Balerion and Daemon on Caraxes, that would be an entirely different story. In fact, Caraxes wouldn't even need to engage in a "dance" (close combat, scratching, biting, direct fire) with Balerion, just provoke Balerion into chasing him around, fly acrobatics around him, and The Black Dread would've eventually croaked of exhaustion.
@randallstubblefield1633”MVP” for eating rhaenyra is nasty work. Caraxes is easily the mvp seeing as he took out the only reason the greens were able to wage war against the blacks
I don't think so Helena told Aemond that he will die in a fight above the gods eye never to be seen again. I'm assuming everyone has seen the season 2 finale by now.
the red queen and the queen who never was went out like Gs! also caraxes noodle boy is my favorite dragon! his bond with daemon is like no other! they really match each others energy!
It always baffles me how these dragons were treated almost like throw aways considering how long it takes them to grow, how rare they are in the world with there only being a few, and how important and sacred they are to the Targaryen's with deep blood bonds and just being the source of the house's power, yet they so easily throw them in battles to the death with each other and dragons are killed left right and sideways and nobody really seems that broken up by it. I guess the thirst for power and revenge are worth more.
good point. with such a powerful commodity, one would think that you would keep them safe, until needed, when the enemy is close to victory...but that would make a less popular show.
Well several Targaryens were mad or had questionable intelligence (probably a result of all that incest), so it kind of makes sense that they threw the dragons around so much. Politics regarding the Targaryen reputation probably also played a role though (if not the biggest role), like the (perceived) pressure/threat from other lords and the smallfolk, who needed frequent reminders of the Targaryen's might (which of course mostly had to do with the dragons) lest they be overthrown. I suppose it does come down to greed for power, but certainly also from simply wanting to survive...since the old rulers and the rest of the royal family probably won't be alive (for long) once overthrown.
Exactly how I feel and how did they kill them in the pits? Dragons were killing armies of men but the small folk were able to kill 3 they still breathe fire. Did the same in GOT killing 2 out of 3 Drogon was the only one able to avoid the scorpion bolts smh
@patriotarborist711they were fine to use against the enemy just didn't get why the riders would be so quick to tell their dragon to attack the other when you can die so easily regardless if your dragon kills the other or not. I thought Rhaenys should've retreated after Sunfyre died instead she turned around when neither her or Meleys had to die that die why fight her one on one anyway that was basically the only dragon the greens had left
@GODsoN_8471I think the smallfolk killed more than 3- if I’m not mistaken they killed 5; Dreamfyre, Syrax, Tyraxes, Shrykos & Morghul. The last 3 were pretty small and chained up. Syrax was an idiot dragon- I don’t think she attempted to fly away or use fire, just claw & tooth. And Dreamfyre at least broke free of her chains and tried to fight back but was overwhelmed. Those smallfolk were literally jumping on top of the dragons and crashing them in the head w axes. It was brutal. But they still killed many ppl.
Thank you for not underestimating Meleys. I feel like people brush her off as a weak dragon cause she died (they seem to ignore the circumstances) I feel like Meleys is very close in power to Caraxes.
Exactly. She handled a battle against two dragons-one of which is the largest alive-and heavily injured one. Though I liked the show version of the fight, I didn't like the part where the dragons attacked her separately. I wanted to see both dragons attack her at the same time, just like in the book. If we could see that, everyone would understand her true power
Meleys fought two dragons, one of which was Vhagar. Even in the HOTD series, she was not losing until the sneak attack by Vhagar. Someone who calls her weak is delusional
If Caraxes was allowed to grow and live as long as vhagar he’d be a forced to messed with due to size and his agility which make slow down a bit but his body structures still would allow him to have the edge in air to air combat
Cannibal is illustrating an intelligent predators hunting habits. Predators that aren't intelligent aim for prey that are their size or bigger. Intelligent predators attack what they can easily over power.
Not necessarily true at all. It would be stupid for a predator to waste energy chasing down some smaller prey that isn't going to provide them with sufficient calories to make up for what it just burned by chasing smaller faster prey.
They need a series about some crazy mf that somehow rode Cannibal and show him going back to valyria with Cannibal to explore and fight massive dragons that still live there, and him beating them and survivng the curses and lava, could be a cool idea for a show or book, maybe he finds some ppl that still live there in hiding and help them rise up from under the ground to rebuild valyria .
SHOULD HAVE INCLUDED DROGON,he was super fast and flexible the night king missed him twice with the night spear ,he got hit twice by scorpion spears once in meeren and during the battle with jaimie’s army ,,and he destroyed Euron’s fleet with several ships failing to hit him,and he single handedly destroyed kings landing
@Queenwolf54ok so what? And he still lived. Drogon has many other attributes like his swiftness, agility & raw power that make him a formidable force. And should he live to be the age of any of the upper echelon dragons he would blow them all way easily.
I was watching something the other day about a dragon that was even bigger than the black dread, the titan white or colossal white I cant remember but it was a dragon that never had a rider and you could fit 4 Balerion's in her wing span, pretty cool little story. She wasn't born but was formed from the left over magic when the dragon goddess brought the dragons into being. I cant remember if they ever named her other than the colossal/titan white dragon, but the little short story I watch was really neat, it would had made a nice episode to see, like a historical flash back or something.....they could have added a lot to House of the Dragon, it definitely needing something other than incest being the focal point!
We are unsure about the cannibal, his size varies from slightly smaller then vermithor to as big as fucking balerion, he's over 250 years old from what we know, we never see him, his appearance is drastically different from the Targaryen dragons, and from what we hear we're gonna see him in a future season of Hotd, which would finally give us a size estimate, and a power estimate.
nope the showmakers just made it big to look scary .... in reality drogon isn't that big ...it will grow big yes but it will take him the same 50-100 yrs to reach its peak
not only was Meleys the fastest of the Targaryen dragons, she was the dragon both Daemon and Rhaenys wanted to have! So Daemon ranked her over Caraxes at one point in time - he knew how powerfull she was! But Meleys rejected Daemon and bonded with the queen who never was...
Daemon didnt rank her above caraxes in power. He wanted her because she was fast and was best suited for his role as a dragon rider. No one wanted caraxes not because he was weak, but because caraxes was a nut job among dragon and was hard to tame. The only reason daemon tamed him was because he was equally as crazy
@axeldiaz404 Plus his mum took him on his first flight on Meleys right after his birth (though it's not recorded, it's not beyond imagining she flew both her boys on Meleys during their childhood), also Viserys spent his claim on Balerion, so Daemon naturally gravitated to she-dragon he knew. However, generally, GRRM's dragons don't tend to be passed from parents directly to children (with some exceptions and unknowns, e.g. Balerion was claimed by Maegor after Aegon's death, and who knows what happened with 5 dragons Targs came to Westeros).
I feel like we should only see him once in the show… and that’s at Corlys’s funeral like in the books. Just a simple fly over and a ferocious roar, never to be seen again. People will be like “omg who’s that dragon?!!” but book readers will know. Let him remain the mysterious legend that he is.
@_justinblizzle i agree, subtely makes it more ominous and cool. Still, id love to see Cannibal do something crazy like eat a young dragon in middair and just disappear
@jaximusmaximus7269 Cute... But..All animals screech the same way when in severe pain. Very loud and high pitched. They brought home the dragon was in severe pain by using that sound recognised as severe pain. They didn't roll a dice on what sound to add, it's calculated. 🤫
I do believe that Drogon is from the same line of Balerion, and will be as big as it. They both are the most beautiful dragons. Caraxes the Wyvern and The red queen are amazing! My 4 favorite dragons!
Since Balerion wasn't in HotD then we need to discuss Drogon, as he was a force of nature. His breath sliced thru stone like butter, and he managed to dodge the attacks of the Night King. He'd be a match for any dragon in HotD.
I feel like we should not include Meraxes & Balerion when talking about house of the dragons. They were dead by then. I think dragons with riders are likely generally potentially stronger than riderless ones, because they see more battle. That said, I think this may be my ranking: 1. Vhagar 2. Could be Vermithor, Caraxes or Cannibal (Vermithor is high up due to sheer size, but we never see him fight Caraxes. Cannibal is likely among these other 2 giants, despite us never seeing him fight) 5. Melys (Speed & power, though defeated by Vhagar) Aside from the top 5, I think the next 5 dragons could be in any spot seeing as we haven't watched them fighting much, or atleast not fighting other dragons. 6. Sunfyre (Defeats moondancer, and fights Melys. Probably reasonably strong) 7. Seasmoke (Relatively experienced, puts up a fight vs Vermithor & Tessarion) 8. Sheepstealer (No idea, but seems to fit in top 10 somewhere) 9. Silverwing (also hard to tell, since it did not really fight other dragons) 10. Dreamfyre (seems a bit stronger than syrax due to age, but not battle tested aside from civilians) Honorable mentions: - Syrax (too lazy, and no experience) - Tessarion (probably quite strong, and battletested but young) - Moondancer (young, and not particulary strong) - Vermax (also young, and not particulary strong) - Grey ghost (defeated by weakened sunfyre, so probably not very strong) Then I believe the smaller dragons: Arrax, Tyraxes, Stormcloud & Morning as well as the 2 dragons belonging to the twins Shrykos & Morghul are not close to top 10.
Balerion died earlier than he should have. Aerea Targaryen tried to claim him and run away from Dragonstone but she had never ridden a dragon before. The two of them disappeared for a year and Balerion almost certainly took them to the ruins of Valyria. When they returned Balerion had many wounds including a 9 foot gash down his side. Aerea was infected with some kind of fire worms and died within a day. Balerion was never the same. The Black Dread was certainly one of the most powerful creatures in the world as almost everyone who dared to explore the Smoking Sea of old Valyria was never heard from again.
The fact that drogon in sp young but grown immensely is a proof that if he lives as long as vhagar he could potentially be larger than balerion and the most powerful
Drogon was made bigger than he really was just to speed it up for the show. People get all over themselves due to the s how because he was the main dragon for danerys but the reality is drogon isn't shit compared to many other dragons.
People love the "Drogon isn't that big in the books" argument. Even in the books Drogon is only around 3 and yet he's already the same size as Arrax who was 14. This alone has book Drogon's growth rate around 4 to 5 times faster than a known dragon in HotD. Yes adult Drogon would probably be comparable to Balerion, something that is basically hinted at with the amount of "reincarnation of Balerion" book quotes George puts in.
@TheDream6842Performed atrociously against the first, and killed two dragons half his age and size. And he still died due to collective injuries. He doesn’t deserve to be on this list
@skibiditoilet8373Still he got battle experience and we don't know the size of Greyghost but he was healthy while Sunfyre was not. Also he fought Moondancer with a half torn wing and fresh wounds from Greyghost. Please, you don't have to like him but you have to recognize his bravery. Many dragons died in their first battle but Sunfyre survived until the end.
Idk why Rhaenys didn't flee after killing Sunfyre to live and fight another day that was her second big mistake. She should've killed the Greens when she had the chance at Aegon's coronation but that's plot armor for ya.
@ant_boy_spice4400 He has no notable feats "later on" he was torn to shreds by meleys, he killed grey ghost but that is no big feat considering he was much larger than that dragon. he later goes to fight moon dancer which he barely manages to win, his size playing a big part in his victory and then he later dies. He is no formidable beast.
@calculatedrisks-y5y Meleys was one of the strongest dragons alive, so Sunfyre’s fight with her as his first battle was an unfortunate thing. However, it was against Grey Ghost and Moondancer that he truly showed his power. Grey Ghost was not smaller than Sunfyre; they were of similar size, and Sunfyre was at a disadvantage due to his injuries from previous battles. He was even more injured while fighting Moondancer, but that didn’t stop him from killing them. Anyway, this was my assessment. As I mentioned at the end of the video, the list can vary for anyone.
I would place Caraxes above Vhagar, since Imo it seems logical that it is more so the dragons that are doing the fighting than the riders (who are probably mostly focusing on holding on so they don't fall off during the chaos of a dragon fight, much like what we saw in the battle between Meleys and Vhagar). So unless the rider fell in a trap/was ambushed, I'd say the rider's inexperience doesn't matter as much in an honest dragon fight (especially in Vhagar's case, who has plenty of experience already...she knows what to do, highly doubt she'd just go down if her rider wasn't telling her exactly when and where to bite, scratch etc all the time). Overall I think despite succumbing to his wounds just moments after, the fact that Caraxes took down Vhagar despite being only half her size, far younger and less experienced ranks him above her. He also has a fearsome reputation that rivals that of Vhagar's, so I think it's fair.
From your comment, I understand that you would rank him higher, but we don’t know much about him or how powerful he is. The only known information about him is that he is the biggest wild dragon. We don’t know how he would fight against other dragons. The other things known about him are tales from smallfolk and are not reliable. Because of that, I think he is fit for eighth place
No I mean you said he was ninth at the beginning of the video by mistake. I think you putting him at 8 is interesting but your logic is sound @bloodtargaryen
@Yajna007 cannibal is the most animalistic out of all the dragons, he was the same size as vermithor or somewhat larger so he would definitely be higher on the list if we had more info about him, as for why he avoided hunting larger dragons it's for the same reason predators IRL don't tackle very dangerous prey as they would rather avoid getting injured bc if they do get injured they can't hunt and therefore would die and as we have seen in the tv series even the targ dragons avoid fighting there fellow dragons unless there rider wills/commands it with the 2 exceptions being when sunfyre and greyghost got into a fight and the other being when cannibal attacked sheepstealer and drove him away from the bodies of a bunch of people sheepstealer had just killed/injured, cannibal actually drove off sheepstealer with ease despite sheepstealer being stated to be the same size as silverwing but that was more of a skirmish then a full blown fight (similar to a grizzly driving a mountain lion or wolf pack off there kill), if the tv series ends up showing cannibal in action i can def see him being a top 5 dragon in the series
Sunfyre being above Silverwing and Dreamfyre is astonishingly criminal... only good list (without counting the cannibal since his size is unkown and kinda speculation) should be; 1. Balerion 2. Vhagar 3. Vermithor 4. Caraxes 5. Meraxes 6. Meleys 7. Silverwing 8. Dreamfyre 9. Sheepstealer 10. Seasmoke
@SamuelWorkman-f5r Caraxes only won because Daemon was a better rider and had the tactic to come from Aemond's blind side in the sun... Even with the jump, Caraxes was torn apart and only lived longer because he was lighter and could swim back to shore. Vhagar is stronger than Caraxes. Even Daemon knew it, that's why he made a suicide bomb on Vhagar and I believe he jumped to Aemond and killed him straight up cause he wasn't even sure Caraxes could take Vhagar even after all that...
@Franvvard Silverwing is MUCH bigger than Sheapstealer, as seen in the show, also even in the books, Sheapstealer is never stated to be a particularly big dragon, its only speculated he was hatched in the early reign of Jaehaerys, which makes it younger than Silverwing. Sheapstealer also has 0 feats, so no. Also Seasmoke fights Vermithor... so no, Sunfyre is smaller and only kills smaller dragons than itself.
in my opinion and reneyra said vermithor he is the seconde large dragon after vegar and he the most fear vermitor he the most strong dragon after belaryon
drogons tv seres size is not canon, in the books he is canonically the same size as tessarion the blue queen (the blue dragon we see in s2 ep 8 of HoTD) so he is prob top 15 at best but not top 10.
The water of the gods eye killed vhagar, not caraxex. The wound inflicted on vhagar from caraxes wouldnt have been fatal on its own. However the wounds inflicted on caraxes from vhagar would've been. Caraxes latched on to vhagars neck, but vhagar tore off caraxes wing & and clawed his belly, which disemboweld caraxex. Daemon knew he couldnt face vhagar alone and come out of the fight alive.
Nah it was definitely fatal. Her throat was ripped out, and Caraxes wing wasn’t torn off, just torn. His belly was opened but he crawled out of the gods eye and died near Harrenhal. V was dead on impact. Caraxes clearly won the fight. On if the theory of Daemon surviving is true, then Daemon and Caraxes defeated the legendary Vaghar and her rider Aemond, and lived to tell about it. Edit: Like bro don’t be biased. At the VERY best for the greens, it was a draw. But that’s only if you’re willing to admit vaghar and caraxes are dead even in terms of value to their respective sides. If Vaghar is so much more powerful, it is a HUGE embarrassment that the legendary Vermithor was killed in a scuffle with a lesser dragon, so they’ll hold that L there. Best case draw, but it was actually a victory for the reds. The greens lost more in that battle
I thought Vhagar was female? I dont wanna sound "nit-picky", but I was confused as the "Queen" was referred to as "him". This is my intro to the dragons
Good for her she learned from her experience with humans. That's horrible what happened to dreamfyre. Why the hell would they attack each other. This is based on the books
Meraxes should be higher, she was brought as an egg from valayria and she was a war dragon 2nd only to baelrion in size and strength !! dreamfyre is definitely above sunfyre ... meleys, vermithor and caraxes are definitely formidable meleys is the fastest dragon to ever live.. caraxes proved himself but vermithor didn't get much chance but vermithor definitley comes above bcoz of its size and strength(it's not old like vagar so he should be the strongest dragon in hod universe)... seasmoke is left but it should be of same size as sunfyre and it's breed is same as that of dreamfyre(also drogon for got fans) so it's not weak in any way !!
Dreams didn't make us kings.
Dragons did.
So badass.
Yet he's wrong
It was a dream that made the Targaryens leave Valyria and survive The Doom
And it was a dream that made Aegon conquer Westeros in HotD canon (which might aswell be canon since Martin worked on it)
I had to leave at least one reply, so this is my reply🐘
@leonardocontin937You're definitely right the vision saved their lives to make conquering Westeros possible but without the dragons they wouldn't have been able to accomplish their mission because even with Dragons they weren't able to make Dorn bend the knee.
Ironic considering they lost their dragons in the end. I gues they are no longer kings?
Ur rating is inaccurate
Imposters
Sunfire over cannibal is crazy
Right?!?!?
this dude is probably a green fan
and gray ghost was much smaller than sunfyre
To say my opinion, I think the cannibal should have been the first place🐲🐉
Cannibal is insanely overrated
Dreamfyre is such a beautiful name for a dragon
Sheep Stealer is not
sounds something a 14 y/o would come up with
Vermithor is just perfect and drogon is also cool
@martinerhard8447So does your username.
@martinerhard8447 and? whats the problem with a 14 y/o ?
do you have problem's with younger once?
The pink dread deserves the no.1 spot
I laughed so hard to see it added in! 😂
I’m a huge Caraxes the Blood Wyrm fan. I know he wouldn’t stand a chance against Balerion the Black dread, but he’s so badass❤
Errm... not in Balerion's prime. However, if for some reason it came to blows between Viserys on Balerion and Daemon on Caraxes, that would be an entirely different story. I hope the show does not change the deaths of Caraxes and Vhagar.
I hope the same exact thing, but also gotta include Sunfyre. He was the MVP of the dance.
@randallstubblefield1633 why is Sunfyre the MVP? he didn't do much
@danieln.2590 Sunfyre literally eats Rhaenyra with lol.
Cant wait for Belarion The Dread coming soon to an HBO near you. Hell even a movie.!!!
Thank you for giving sunfyre justice
My favorite Cannibal origin is that he was meant to be Maegor the cruel's dragon but he denied him because of Balerion
Cannibal is the real wildcard...i have a feeling u should not sleep on cannibal...
the red queen and the queen who never was went out like Gs! also caraxes noodle boy is my favorite dragon! his bond with daemon is like no other! they really match each others energy!

@calfjddogthebacon7109 exactly!
They also say Meleys is the fastest
Havenga seen season 2 yet but I love meley, and I would say she is strong aswell

Seasmoke making my top 10. Stepstones, gullet, fall of kings landing and second tumbleton. Killing vermithor and tesserion also dying himself
Yeah, Seasmoke is truly a powerful dragon; I agree. I would probably rank him as an 11. He should have recognition.
Seasmoke was much young and had not reach his full potential also.So I would put seasmoke up there pound for pound
But Drogon wasn't in the house of the dragon, and this was talking about dragons only in house of the dragon
@sophieirwin3497but neither is cannibal. Unless he is going to be in the show later.
@PappaPurps79 this is about all dragons that existed during the Dance.
Dragon didn't exist during the Dance. Moreover, the only dragon battle he fought was against his undead brother, Viserion.
@Queenwolf54ok so what? And he still lived. Drogon has many other attributes like his swiftness, agility & raw power that make him a formidable force. And should he live to be the age of any of the upper echelon dragons he would blow them all way easily.
some rumors on cannibal will shown on HOD 3
Great video man. Keep it up! Subscribed!
Thank you very much. I hope you enjoy the upcoming videos as well.

Great video enjoyed it thanks!.🙌🔥
glad you enjoyed it 😊
I think drogon would be the strongest if he lives as old as the dragons in HOTD. He's just 7 and is already that huge.
His size is only the result of shit show writing, his true size is only around the size of a warhorse and not the size of fkin seasmoke 😂
nope the showmakers just made it big to look scary .... in reality drogon isn't that big ...it will grow big yes but it will take him the same 50-100 yrs to reach its peak
This is dope!!!
Lets start a watch group and dragon podcast that we cosplay and discuss the dragons id ride cannibal
The cannabis was the most loved dragon tho.
Weed is tight, weed is tight
Cannibal being barely mentioned and bruh says he's the most loved🥲

Probably cus she belonged to one of his parents 🙄
Funny how Baelon smacked Balerion when rejected before bonding with Vhagar lol.
Daemon didnt rank her above caraxes in power. He wanted her because she was fast and was best suited for his role as a dragon rider. However, generally, GRRM's dragons don't tend to be passed from parents directly to children (with some exceptions and unknowns, e.g. Balerion was claimed by Maegor after Aegon's death, and who knows what happened with 5 dragons Targs came to Westeros).
Id love to see cannibal in the HOD series....
I Appreciate the spoiler warning upfront 👍
You're welcome
Thank you so much for the spoiler warning, I really appreciate it.
Meleys and Vermithor would be excellent duo
The sound they used when Sunfyre was hurt and eventually killed in HOTD really hit home.
Really hit home? Oh yeah you had a similar experience when your pet dragon died?
@jaximusmaximus7269 Cute...
But..All animals screech the same way when in severe pain. Very loud and high pitched.
They brought home the dragon was in severe pain by using that sound recognised as severe pain. They didn't roll a dice on what sound to add, it's calculated. 🤫
I fill like sun fire was treated badly. Sun fire was forced into battle after battle. Even when it was injured.
I do believe that Drogon is from the same line of Balerion, and will be as big as it. They both are the most beautiful dragons. Caraxes the Wyvern and The red queen are amazing! My 4 favorite dragons!
So you add balerian who hasn't shown in series but ignored drogon from game of thrones
balerion was connected to vhagar and only just died before the series
Take a shot every time you hear “formidable”
Since Balerion wasn't in HotD then we need to discuss Drogon, as he was a force of nature. His breath sliced thru stone like butter, and he managed to dodge the attacks of the Night King.
He'd be a match for any dragon in HotD.
Drogon was diabolical but idk how he'd handle the big 3, 1 on 1. He'd have to use his speed
@Smackman219 i literally just explained exactly how he would win
You’re high if you think drogon would do shit to vhegar.
Drogon is balerion incarnated
@stevenwiner7194he would. Drogon was HUGE at 7 years old, imagine if he hit 20😂
based on genetics caraxes maneuverability and hotter flames due to ratio of fyrewyrm blood caraxes at max size will be able 180 turns
How do you know the future battles ? We are still at HOD S2 or this is based on the RR Martin's book ?
The books
Nice
I feel like we should not include Meraxes & Balerion when talking about house of the dragons. They were dead by then.
I think dragons with riders are likely generally potentially stronger than riderless ones, because they see more battle. That said, I think this may be my ranking:
1. Vhagar
2. Could be Vermithor, Caraxes or Cannibal (Vermithor is high up due to sheer size, but we never see him fight Caraxes. Cannibal is likely among these other 2 giants, despite us never seeing him fight)
5. Melys (Speed & power, though defeated by Vhagar)
Aside from the top 5, I think the next 5 dragons could be in any spot seeing as we haven't watched them fighting much, or atleast not fighting other dragons.
6. Sunfyre (Defeats moondancer, and fights Melys. Probably reasonably strong)
7. Seasmoke (Relatively experienced, puts up a fight vs Vermithor & Tessarion)
8. Sheepstealer (No idea, but seems to fit in top 10 somewhere)
9. Silverwing (also hard to tell, since it did not really fight other dragons)
10. Dreamfyre (seems a bit stronger than syrax due to age, but not battle tested aside from civilians)
Honorable mentions:
- Syrax (too lazy, and no experience)
- Tessarion (probably quite strong, and battletested but young)
- Moondancer (young, and not particulary strong)
- Vermax (also young, and not particulary strong)
- Grey ghost (defeated by weakened sunfyre, so probably not very strong)
Then I believe the smaller dragons: Arrax, Tyraxes, Stormcloud & Morning as well as the 2 dragons belonging to the twins Shrykos & Morghul are not close to top 10.
i believe most important for the power of a dragon is the rider
If vhagar was old and slow how did she one tap meleys and almost every other dragon
You may have a point there
Size and sheer power
I am a BIG dragon lover
21:24 oh yeah 😂
The fact that drogon in sp young but grown immensely is a proof that if he lives as long as vhagar he could potentially be larger than balerion and the most powerful
Drogon was made bigger than he really was just to speed it up for the show. People get all over themselves due to the s how because he was the main dragon for danerys but the reality is drogon isn't shit compared to many other dragons.
Dragon growing that big that fast is just another example of terrible show writing. It's about as dumb as the teleporting
@CameronkAK also that he had free reign over the skies given the fact he was never locked inside the dragon pit with his brothers.
Sunfried above Dreamfyre is NASTY work
Sunfyre fought 3 dragons. He has more experience.
I like how the dragon nerds actually believe this ike it was written in real humanity history
Idk why Rhaenys didn't flee after killing Sunfyre to live and fight another day that was her second big mistake. She should've killed the Greens when she had the chance at Aegon's coronation but that's plot armor for ya.
Ankos, Meleys! She is my number 1!
Martin's dragons are pupets against WOW Aspects why nobody talks about them
sunfyre on this list is sinful
You’ll see later on
@ant_boy_spice4400 He has no notable feats "later on" he was torn to shreds by meleys, he killed grey ghost but that is no big feat considering he was much larger than that dragon. he later goes to fight moon dancer which he barely manages to win, his size playing a big part in his victory and then he later dies.
You mean cannibal is eighth 😂,, caraxes being third is fair. Great list thanks for the content!
@JoeUchiha-gs5ru Oh, I’m so sorry. That was a mistake that I just realized🫣
Cannibal used to prey upon small dragons. It never exhibited the courage to *try to* take-on the big ones.
13:56 “but Vermitor was no match for mere mortals”
Damm
Sunfyre being above Silverwing and Dreamfyre is astonishingly criminal... only good list (without counting the cannibal since his size is unkown and kinda speculation) should be;
1. Balerion
2. Vhagar
3. Vermithor
4. Caraxes
5. Meraxes
6. Meleys
7. Silverwing
8. Dreamfyre
9. Sheepstealer
10. Seasmoke
This is a way better list
Caraxes killed Vhagar So he must be rated higher . Other than this slight you have made against Caraxes your list is acceptable .
Swap sheepstealer with silverwing and this a damn near perfect list also I’d put sunfyre above seasmoke cuz of his feats while being crippled
Drogon will always be my #1 dragon.
in my opinion and reneyra said vermithor he is the seconde large dragon after vegar and he the most fear vermitor he the most strong dragon after belaryon
Vhagar old ass think she can take all 3 dragons. Like yeah sis you might survive but Aemond is toast lmao
If moondancer grew to he an adult she wouldve given them a run for their money
Daenerys Targaryen dragon should have been on that list. At least the honorable mentions.
Caraxes my fav
Why was dreamfyre small if she was even older than vermothor
The Cannibal should be number 1
Bro wtf 😂
We don’t blame sunfyre it was melyss
Dragons will rule the 7 kingdoms for the next 100 years
No matter how many dragons appear in HoD, drogon will always be the best and strongest one
Caraxes 🔥
So balerion is like OG type shit from valeria
Didn't GRRM say that cannibal was larger than black dread?
Y'all forgot to add Dudley the dragon to the top 10
Cannibal on 8 .... crazy
drogon belongs on this list. i think somewhere comporable to meeleys
Definitely not
drogons tv seres size is not canon, in the books he is canonically the same size as tessarion the blue queen (the blue dragon we see in s2 ep 8 of HoTD) so he is prob top 15 at best but not top 10.
No they sized them up for TV in reality they would have been smaller than Rhaneryas
I love dragons, but the ones in that movie are wyverns
Even in fictional stories.. human greediness.. took these beautiful creatures to battles.. and extinction.. 🙄
The storming of the Dragonpit is such a shitty way to kill so many dragons.. god.
😂 kind of agree but those dragons were all small and chained up, Syrax was just dumb and Dreamfyre at least tried lol
Where the hell did you read or hear vhagar was as big as balerion?😅
I think he was alluding to the fact that she kept growing after the other 2 died
there's no Balerion in house of the dragon..
he's already dead decades ago before the start of the house of the dragon
I would have put drogon as probably number six or seven
Caraxes is the one attacking vhagar and kill her and counter attack of vhagar couse the death of caraxes
I wouldnt say that dreamfyre is relatively small
Where is drogon
This is for Hotd
I thought Vhagar was female? I dont wanna sound "nit-picky", but I was confused as the "Queen" was referred to as "him". This is my intro to the dragons
You are correct . Vhagar is female
Don't care what anyone says Caraxes would smoke all 3 of the conquest dragons in a 1 v 1 fight ofc at the cost of his life.
Good for her she learned from her experience with humans. That's horrible what happened to dreamfyre. Why the hell would they attack each other. This is based on the books
sunfyre over cannibal 💀
If Caraxes was the size of Vermithor he beats balerion
Didn't caraxes crawl out of the lake after falling with vhagar in the book?
Is drogon (danareys's dragon) smallest?
How about Alduin?
In my opinion the strongest dragon 🐉 is Toothless ☺
Carexes after war in god's eye came out of lake then how carexes is weak then vhagar ?just because bigger so better
Most powerful dragon 🐉
Monster KING GHIDORAH
How come there is no mention of Drogon, lots of battle experience and was getting larger and larger
