As an Accies fan who watched as we descended down the Leagues, seven years without a ground,Directors taking over £6million out of the pot for a new ground(that is why we have only two Stands),players on strike with fans paying the wages, putting a candidate forward for Parliament etc etc etc, this was the day that made up for all the sacrifices aforementioned.
What a day that was. Was rubbing my hands together knowing we could get them in the Championship after winning L1. Despite how shite we (Rangers) were that first season we still kept them down not once but twice. No sweeter moment watching those junkies in agony as they were facing a third year as a proven diddy team.
As a neutral, this is up there with my all time favourite games. Watford/Leicester play off final (Deeeeneeeyy!), Brentford/Doncaster play off (Billy Paynter last minute winner after a missed penalty), and this one. Brings tears to the eyes. The beautiful game. Wonderful stuff. C’mon the Accies!
3 QUESTIONS 911 TRUTHERS DON'T WANT YOU TO ASK THEM: If the Pentagon was hit by a missile and not a plane, what happened to the passengers and crew? How many times did William Rodriguez change his 911 testimony? If flight 77 was a missile and not a plane, what knocked down the pole lights outside the Pentagon?
On the bright side... surely a talented team such as Hibs (they shouldn't have been relegated after winning the away leg 2-0) will waltz through the division below?
I never tire of watching this

One of our best away wins ever. This game was a football fans dream.
That slow turn by Petrie after the final penalty is one of my favourite moments of last season
I agree. I've watched that bit a few times. It's gold
Beautiful to watch!

You weren’t smiling when we pumped ye 4-0 a few months later. And then there’s the cup final. You lot shat yourself that day 😂

I love the commentators line “the first leg was a blow…but it wasn’t a knock off blow…”
What a great video this is 😂
Hibs fans, surely the only losers to have a relegation party the season they get relegated. Hilarious

What a day! Pishing with rain, and 2 down from the first leg. Dont remember coming home.
Never gets boring 😂😂
As a neutral, this is what football's all about - passion, commitment, drama, tears and joy.
Spot on mate!
They came to tynie to relegate us, failed and ended up in championship for 3 yrs. always have been, always will be the wee team
Great respect form Napoli !!!
Absolutely wonderful .
Pure class memories arrived on holiday to hear that one in Portugal 2 hibs fans telling the score fucking class
HOW GOOD A DAY WAS THIS
I've just found out about this and I'm stunned to hear Hibs are down!!
Congratulations Hamilton
Surely all of Edinburgh regrets their relegation? I'm sure H1B5 wouldn't go to Tynecastle with the sole aim of relegating Hearts?
4:42 makes me fill with anger. Look at his smug grin.. Ahhh how he still has a job baffles me
Hibs looked home and dry after the first leg - astonishing really...
