I'm no stranger to people trying to take advantage of me or using things I've shared in confidence to later stab me in the back. I want people to listen to this song and go; No. Wait. I'm better than this. I deserve the best. I want to remind people not to slip into the golden glow of 'fitting in' even if it's at your own expense. It's a fine line everybody dances at different points throughout their lives in all different types of relationship- when we know someone is taking us for a ride but we want it to be true. We want to fit in with their 'crew' even if we know they're fake and don't actually care. When they listen to HYPNOTIZED I want people to listen to realise that they deserve people who care about them for themselves, wholly and completely.
Is it just me or is AViVA’s voice getting better and better. I love her voice now, especially in this song. I’m not saying her singing was bad before, it was awesome, but in my opinion, it seemed a bit overdone, like she was trying too hard. Just my opinion I don’t mean to hate on her old voice, which was also really good.

I disagree, sorry. Aviva is a naturally good singer and while you can improve your singing even if you're already good at it, she puts lots of effects on her voice so it's hard to tell. Maybe she is getting better at singing but it's hard to tell. I don't think she needs to get better anyways. Though, I love the way her accent sounds while she's rapping :)
She's always sounded good, though. I feel like there's other songs were she is more expressive, and I personally like that. It's funny though how when someone brings out the best in their performance, it will be seen as "overdone" when other artists put in barely any effort at all and we praise them. Akin to the heteronormative environment and expectations I and so many others are pushing against. Aviva is one of the few artists to create a song that could mean something different to different people and I love that so much.
I was listening to this and I realized that most of the people I saw as friends were using me. I now have told them to stop contacting me and I am very glad I did so. I have had to many people in my life who were using me or being toxic.
