As a Steelers fan, I’ll always appreciate JuJu’s time here. He unfairly gets bunched in with our run of diva receivers like Martavis, Diontae, AB & Claypool.
Juju wasn’t a diva, he just likes to make TikTok’s. Never had to worry about his blocking effort or his willingness to do dirty work. His career is likely to be done soon, but i hope he can find some juice once he recovers.

  • @Pirates4LIFE100

It’s kinda sad to think abt how at one point early in his career, he was one of the most marketable players in the entire league. He was young and was so relatable to us young fans. I mean, the stream with Ninja just reminds me of the old days during high school and still being a kid. So it’s def nostalgia that comes too. We all miss those years of our lives, and that’s when Juju was everywhere. Now he’s just an afterthought WR who’s another injury away from being done. It just sucks how he went from being on top of the world it feels like to just another mediocre WR

As some one who never really paid attention to the Steelers, it's becoming clear that Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio brown made both Le'Veon Bell AND JuJu smith shuster better than they actually were. As soon as Ben and AB were no longer around, neither of those 2 supposed future HOF'ers were ever productive again.

Your comment screams I didn’t pay attention to the Steelers because it’s literally the I have no idea what happened here type of comment. Bell was great because his running style meshed so well with the way the line blocked at the time. He had a unique stop and go style that frankly we’ve only really seen him do consistently with other able to occasionally pull imitations off.

I have to think that playing for an iconic organization like the Steelers gave AB, Le’Veon Bell and Juju a sense of entitlement that ended up clouding their heads and judgement. While my explanation for why they became obnoxious may not be enough to explain why they became obnoxious, I came to that conclusion because it isn’t unusual for any player playing for a well known and iconic franchise to be become arrogant to the point of becoming hated. We’ve seen that happen a lot and it doesn’t always end well.

Juju's knees had been bothering him since his time in Pittsburgh. Shouldn't be news to anyone who followed him, especially not to NFL teams. He was having them drained pretty much weekly. Unfortunate that they were such a mess since he was so young at that point but some guys bodies hold up better than others and Juju's knees were pretty much busted, fluid-filled messes when he was only 23 or so.
I'll always appreciate that hit on Burfict but Juju was...frustrating. He didn't listen, didn't listen, didn't listen. Didn't invest into his career nearly as much as he did into his Tiktok and online persona. Sucked, got blasted (Corvette Corvette LOL) weekly for his final 2 years in Pittsburgh.....then leaves and goes to the Chiefs and within literally 1 week of arriving "I've learned more here in one week than my entire career." "I've learned so much here." blah blah. Felt almost gaslighting. He learned because he finally put down his phone and cared enough to. People had BEGGED and PLEADED with him for 2-3 years to do that in Pittsburgh and he wouldn't. Didn't care. Prioritized his TikTok instead. 35 hours in Kansas and he's acting like he had some big Zen epiphany. I know some of that is maturing but...yeah.

Juju eventually went to the pats and the pats let Jacoby Myers walk and sign with the raiders while juju had 200yrds last year? Myers played great for the raiders . Fall? 🤔
He just signed with the Chiefs (The team he won a Super Bowl with and is familiar with their offense) for a mill two, could be a part of them winning a 3rd Super Bowl in a row, while making 7 mil from NE. This man hasn't fallen. He's just an aging player getting paid millions of dollars to play a tough game. Stop hating.

Juju was great when AB was getting all the attention on the opposite side. He's average at best when he has to create his own space

Mf quit playing with a HOF quarterback and everyone is like "oh muh gawd wuh happun to Dem??" 🤦 (Should take a look at ball catcher stats for Matt Ryan, their stats with vs without Matt. Julio Jones, Taylor Gabrielle, Austin Hooper, Hayden Hurst, Calvin Ridley, Cordarelle Patterson, Tony Gonzalez, Mohammed Sanu, Harry Douglas, Roddy White, Michael Jenkins, all had their best years with Matt. Except Tony possibly.)

AB was a MEGA DIVA. Damn on hate for own teammates. But we blame the hit that he's a trash person. I guess the SA's on the women, that we constantly ignore to pump him up, was because of "the hit".

Juju was never one of the best receivers in the NFL. He was a great #2 when prime Antonio Brown was on the other side. After AB was gone so was juju's production end of story.
To think of having Big Ben, prime leveon bell and prime Antonio Brown and having no superbowls with that trio. Best runningback, best reciever and a top 5-8 QB . And AB tweeting about "reality" is just I dunno hilarious?

Made it to the NFL. Played for multiple teams. Put up above average stats during his time. Earned a Super Bowl ring. Made it much further than most in the NFL. Not a failure or a "tragic fall". This is a Childs game. Tragic is dramatic....typical drama stirring here. Save your time with this one.

Well I mean that’s why it’s tragic. He’s 27 years old and can’t play at the level he used to bc of something he can’t control

Juju was never one of the best receivers in the league, he got all this attention because of Antonio Brown was on his team and Brown got all the attention from the defense so Juju caught a few passes and he has been riding that ever since, so over payed and over valued
