Mostly the many Yankees that live here. I’m used too as well. (I’m a minority being a Floridian) But we are immune to it to be honest. Doesn’t phase us anymore. But we still love our football and our Buccaneers. We don’t hide it truthfully if u have lived here. Southeast USA in football capital of the world. Look at most nfl players hometowns. The southeast is the football cornbread of the world. I take pride in this. Florida is sunshine all year. No snow downtime here. This pride we hold and this is all we need. Southeast for life . As a Chiefs fan since 1990 when I realized what football was at the tender age of 7, just making sure everyone knows that there are much more lifers here than bandwagoners. Unlike Patriots fans, I can name who my team's quarterbacks were in the 90s without a google search.

@Alex Rivas You can name Bledsoe and Grogan at least. That makes you better than most Pats fans. But what about Millen (20 starts over '90-'91) and Hodson (10 starts over '90-'92)? Heck, Flutie started 12 games from '88 to '89, and that's a well known name. That's in the 80's and that wasn't part of my question so I'll let it slide. I figured at least Millen would have gotten a mention too. Apparently starting 20 games isn't good enough.
And before you ask, the Chiefs had DeBerg, Kreig, Montana, Bono, "buy a vowel" Grbac, and Gannon (he got screwed here). We even had one bonus start from Moon. I may have forgotten one in there, but I'm not sure.

I was born in Missouri, but grew up in New England, and moved there when the Pats, Red Sox, and Bruins were horrible (maybe the Bruins were bad in the 90s? I don't remember). There are some great Pats and Red Sox fans out there who actually cared about those teams before they got good. But I watched tons of people right before my eyes claim to be "lifelong fans" once each of those teams started winning championships. It was sickening.
