What a sick find! Man that scooter brings back memories. Until the pro model came out I always went with the one with the front suspension. I like that we all had diy solutions to improving that scooter. I had a steel pipe that fit perfect in the fork to reinforce it.

I had an original too.
It sat in my room for months.
One day my Mom asked me to go to the store and I didn't feel like walking.
Broke out the scooter. The rest is history.
They don't make them like they use to.
I still have mine with the carry strap. So useful when riding on the train or bus.
Skateboards and scooters are the best
I want to see you get a pro model and do thicks or make a video on using new parts on a pro model see how that works out I don't think anyone have done it
That razor scooter should honestly be in museum😂😂. Also that kind of makes you think how sucky that razor scooter is compared to our scooters now I wonder what scooters will be like in 20 years

I remember having that thing I broke it on the first day
I'm so sad I had someone helping me clean the garage and just a week ago threw out my sons razor 2000 with the springs. In good condition just wheels looking off. His was the black. It was his second one. He got the first one for his 9th birthday. Now he's 31yrs old. He's gonna be so upset and sad and I don't want to tell him. Any advice for me.

Just bought one in mint condition with the wheelie bar for $20 shipped off ebay. Was 12 when I first got one for Christmas.
My parents bought me an original scooter back in 2001 I was about 14. Never used it was never interested. Naturally I begged them to return it which they promised too but never did. Today at 36 years old I wonder if it's still is at my parents house in its original box.

I still have My original Orange Razor Scooter from Y2K ILL Share the quick story of how I got it. I was 11 Years old We Had Gone to My Friend Jasons house who Had Just Got one And I thought they were soo cool I convinced my parents to Stop at (Sports Challet) because it was on the way Home So my hole family Goes inside Mom Dad My 2 Little Sisters They Had 2 Or 3 Left and only 1 Was orange Wich is the one I wanted. Without saying a word about it My dad Grabs it Puts it under his Arm and We Wait inline He Pays for it Sticks it in the Back of the car And we drive ALL THE WAY HOME without him saying a single word About it. We walk in The House while dad Has the scooter Box under his Arm And Sets The Box right in the Middle of the Kitchen Island counter top So I Go to Grab The Box To Open it And He slides it Away from Me Before I Get to it With his Hand Resting on The top of the Box He Says to Me "How's that School project going That Mom Has Been Pushing you to get Done for The Last two weeks... My Heart Sinks Because I haven't even started it yet Lol And He tells me As soon as you're Project is done Its All yours Until then It stays Right here in the Box. Haha if I remember correctly The School Project was To Build a Mission It took us the whole Day To Get it done I remember that so well it was the first time That I had ever Got Something Big like that for No reason. After Typing This out I think I'll dig out my Scooter and work on restoring it to its former Glory. Does anyone know where I can get a new set of original Orange Hand Grips?

skateboards are even cheaper than scooters, but they break easly, and if you can't auto-fabricate a board, it can become very expensive. a good 100$ scooter can last you years.

It's nice and all, but I'm sorry to say that isn't a model A. It's an MS-130 as shown on the box.
It's a great find and it's fantastic that it's in perfect condition etc, with box, but it's not the original scooter.
The Model A didn't have the little overhanging bit of metal above the front wheel, nor did it come with blue grips.
Still it's an amazing find in this condition and I'd love it in my collection too. But the "First Ever Razor" it is not, not by a long shot.
