Didn't mention this in the video, but it's worth noting that all of these techniques are useful against the majority of moves in the game. If you master these techniques, you'll really grow as a player! Also, when I said that some low tiers can't take advantage of every technique, that's mostly because I simply didn't want to experiment with every single character to find out if there are some options that don't work. Every character in the game can wavedash down for example, but it's possible not every character has options fast enough to take advantage of it afterwards due to slow run/wavedash speeds and slow move startup.
I looked through 30 sets and couldn't find a clip! I've already had people commenting saying I should have mentioned shine OoS as an option (which I felt I did), but i honestly can't even do a shine OoS wavedash punish with Fox (don't play the character) so I couldn't record it myself lol.

So I could understand it would be hard to even find a clip of it and especially hard to actually do it if you main the character. Honestly, even after playing fox for 2 years I haven't been able to shine OOS wavedash, although I gave up within minutes because it was so hard lol

This is outside the scope of this video, but I feel like I should mention that you don't have to hit or grab sheik to "punish" ftilt. If you see them ftilt but think that you're gonna be too late for a punish, a run up crouch is a good way to beat a lot of common post ftilt options (another ftilt, instant nair, spotdodge, ect.) If this is very obvious I'm sorry

These videos are excellent, I'm loving it so far. However, the pink text on the light blue background is quite hard to read. I dunno how you would go about fixing it (as changing the colors would break the consistent color scheme present in all the videos in this series), but I just wanted to let you know.
Thanks! Yeah this has been an issue I'm wondering about as well...the solution I'm considering is to use white text on blue instead of pink...but I'm not sure if that will be much better. I really value the consistent colour scheme and don't really want to give it up unless it's absolutely necessary
The clip at 0:42 is quite haneous... In the clip the kriby, due to its long start up time, the down air must be a read on the sheik either doing a run up f tilt outside of Kirbys threat range or is literally just spamming f tilt. In the clip it isn't even a pusish on sheiks f tilt. It clearly goes back to a standing state then you see sheik toss out ANOTHER f tilt and Kirby down air is barely active before the 2nd f tilt is. In that time any reasonable player would have seen the kriby jump, maybe react to the down air itself as its so slow, and sheild grab. Please don't be spreading false info on character specific matchups. Otherwise good video though, just a REEEEEE from a kirby main nbd.
Reads are still punishes lol? Not every way I suggest in the video is supposed to be in reaction, I don’t think it’s necessarily weird to show how to punish f-tilt with a read, or even how to show a counter to sheik’s spamming f-tilt (as they actually do that lol). As for the Kirby clip, my mistake!
U should put some smooth jazz or something in the background of these vids. Just make sure not to make it too loud. It would make these videos much better

I'll consider switching to white! I just want to keep a consistent style for the channel and this has been a comment that people have been very divided on. Lot's of people like it, lots of people dislike it. Gonna try to find a good compromise!

Tip for peach players: double jump landing (quickly double tap Y or X) is a good substitute for wavedash down

I think if you're sticking with the pink blue theme then maybe consider adding white or black outline to the letters
