  • This video is a part of my workshop build series. Last year on April 26, 2021, I started the construction of my workshop and it took almost 6 months of work to construct the superstructure and finish work. At the start, I decided to use metal door frames which I decided to construct myself. So the installation part of the door frame was executed last year but since I was busy with my own work I didn't record that part of the video. Now for the past 1 month, me and my brother started making doors for the workshop because we planned to buy some machinery and for safety purposes, one hall needs to be completed. So I first finish the bottom main door. For the color, I go with a two-tone look, and during the start of this DIY work, I chose these colors in my logo my plan is to paint the entire workshop in a two-toned look. On the top floor, there is a marble flooring that needs to be done which is going to be an electronic, jewelry, and craftsman room. There is a similar design for the door that needs to be installed on the top floor but I am going to install that after the marble flooring work has been completed.

I am from the north dear. SS polish is not a difficult process dear. Just follow the grit size incrementally and you are able to get nice smooth scratch free surface.

Looks great, another cool build. Im not familar with those plastic threaded inserts on the hinges, but that seems like alot of weight for them to hold over time. Just a thought.

Thanks mate. Might be you are right but those doors aren't that heavy, around 35kg per side and I read that these are capable of holding at least 40kg per screw, which is downward force. Seems like sixteen of them are plenty but once I shifted my tig welding machine to this shop, I think I am gonna secure it more firmly to increase more strength.
