- This is the original video for Jive Bunny & The Mastermixers - Swing The Mood!
Swing The Mood was released in June 1989, becoming the first UK number one for Jive Bunny spending 5 weeks there and topping the charts around the world.
The track uses 'In The Mood' and features classic tracks from Bill Haley and his Comets, Danny and the Juniors, Elvis Presley and the Everly Brothers.
I was born in 1953. I was a little boy and remember this time. Thanks for sharing such a video.
My uncle was also in this time too, He's the son of a WWII Navy Vet

Master piece still in 2023
Back in 1989 when I first heard (and saw) this, I instantly enjoyed it, I was taken away at how old tracks could be mixed in with each other... and now, in 2012, I still enjoy it the same way I did back in 1989! Nothing these days is a patch on Jive Bunny (with all the rock 'n' roll tunes), and never will be!!
Music these days has become beyond bland and forgettable, aiming for young people that don't know any better. I feel ever so sorry for them. I'm so glad I lived throughout the 80s!

Gracias, pese a que cada fracción de las mezclas son de la década 50's y 60's yo si decía que las mezclas en si las había escuchado cuando pequeño, entonces si fue por allá entre 1.987 a 1.989; lo que no sabía y es que me enteré que son de "Jive Bunny & The Mastermixers"

Recuerdo que había ahorrado para comprar el cassette de Michael Jackson Bad. Estando en la la tienda vi una portada de un conejito con chamarra de piel y le dije a mi padre que quería ese. Me miró desconcertado y llamo al empleado. Lo embolsaron cuidadosamente y me lo entregaron. De regreso a casa caminaba apresuradamente para escuchar el contenido. Y ho sorpresa me enamoré de la música.

This cassette tape was a gift, I was quite skeptical looking at the cover art... I wore out 4 cassette tapes, gone through about 3 CDs and have been in severe withdrawal of this musical "crack" for many years. The entire album is filled with the very best parts, of the very best music ever made. Thank you. Thank you for doing that amazing thing you do, and for sharing it with the world.
As a kid in late 80s and early 90s my parents would play this music non stop. Til this I listen and even play it for my kids.
