Nice play through! I’ve only played through DS1 once, but I never considered grabbing the zweihander at the start and then killing Havel, did you kill Havel as early as possible for the Havel’s ring so you could increase carry weight? Looking forward to watching your other playthroughs!
I didn’t expect this to be as absorbing as it is, given that I’m an absolutely non-participating spectre. Or spectator, rather. I’m concerned that this is how clever and (minimally) productive blokes like Yours, Truly become slovenly, passive, fungous mimics of the human form. Please tell me I’m better off writing. Also, the plot of this game doesn’t follow a linear curve. Do you edit together all the boss fights and upload a great monstrous brick of them as your video?
The Dark Souls games are pretty hands-off when it comes to the plot. Its mostly told through item descriptions and implications as opposed to standard exposition. And yeah, mostly boss fights + mildly funny moments, otherwise if I uploaded all my compiled streams unedited they'd be like 20 hours long, especially of this series since there's a lot of downtime in the gameplay.

I did need the ring because of the beefy build, but I mostly just like using the master key doors. I feel compelled to open them.
