Had a 1vs8 in my Tiger 1 and these games are the moments where WoT really shines, i won against 8 with three arties raining shell after shell on me. Pure adrenalin and happiness after the win.
As for my most stressful game...in a good way...that was in my T25 AT on Lakeville desperately hunting down the last enemy tank with less than a minute to go...bagged the tank, the win, and one of my two Radley-Walters medals.
Just watched a SU100Y video of your channel from 9 years ago and I miss a lot that slow, simple gameplay, that grey graphics more in tune with the war atmosphere and your commenting... Life going faster and faster isnt always good, even through games, and your own voice. WG should bring some things back and remove the bad ones
QB, thanks for these uploads and for talking through these situations. Being able to perform well under pressure because I hear a voice from across the pond guiding me makes the game way more fun to play, so thanks!
1:35 lol, I really do feel that knowing how the Leo plays is the real litmus test for experience of this game. Always makes me laugh at the quantity of people who think the Leo should be played as a rush medium while in reality it is much more of a quick reposition TD sniper.
The 121B is worth every bond you spend. That cannot be said of most other bond reward tanks. The M60 takes a certain play style and can be unforgiving to most players.
I had two games yesterday in the Rhm. Pnzrw. (Or however it’s spelt, I’ll just say tier ten German light tank) where I was the last one alive. I should mention I play on console. One match was a 1 v 7 and another was a 3 v 8. In the 1 v 7 I was able to get it down to a 1 v 3 before running out of ammunition and died. And in the other scenario I was able to help get it down to a 3 v 3 and running out of ammunition once again. I then proceeded to make a misplay in the 3 v 3 leading me to loosing the rest of my hit points. All in all the Rhm. Pnzrw. needs more ammo.
you had me dying laughing while explaining all that with those 3 enemies trying to kill you while capping XD not gonna lie i wouldn't have been able to do anything like that XD the commentary as always is legendary :)
Watching that jgpz e100 miss several shots and just their general play made me think it wasn't a team mate you can count on. Their stats back up that suspicion. Well played QB
Great plays, and agree that going with your Grille to 2 v 1 the last baddie would have probably ended been a better (certainly less stressful) play. The M60 is the one tank, out of the currently available ones, that I would consider spending bonds on simply for the classic looks.
I love the M60. But I havent played it since it got notably buffed. It now has armor. I used to like it for its viewrange and its standard pen. --But now it also has armor.
My worst was a game in the Sturer Emil, 1v4 (or 3) if I remember correctly, had a SU-152 hit my gun and somehow I did not die, but had my gun out (ah the days of one use only repair kits...) managed to kill everyone hunting me and had to go for the arty...with a broken gun and only 1 HE shell....one of my best games and a true Fadin's after multiple heart attacks...
My most stressful scenario in WOT was early on in the XBOX version. And early isn't just in the days of WOT, but this was a Tier II battle. I was in the American Tier I T1-Cunningham and getting thrown up a tier, which was frightening for me as a new player. Every time it had happened before, it was a quick death with not a lot of damage dealt due to me both being new to the game and also just the slight power difference between the two tiers. Anyways, got thrown in a Tier II match on Malinovka, spawning on the South side and I was just thinking, "Well YOLO. Let's get back to the garage ASAP." The match started and I went to the west road and just started gunning it. Found an enemy also headed down that road and engaged. I somehow got the better of them with a few shots and got them. I wasn't done because I was expecting to just throw my tank away anyways, so I just kept going. Ran into a total of 5 enemies and somehow killed all of them, made it to their base and capped. But with each kill, that incremental adrenaline rush of, "Oh my gosh, I'm still alive. Oh lordy! Please keep me safe!!! I'M IN THEIR CAP AND I'M ALIVE?! WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?!?!? SURELY THE HAMMER IS GOING TO MASH ME IN A SECOND OUT OF NOWHERE!!!!" Yet somehow getting lucky with 5 kills, using the zippy speed of Tier I's (in comparison to the vast majority of other tanks in the game), and the enemy focused on "kill all, caps don't exist," I somehow at bottom tier carried that one game. I've never had another experience like that and I don't plan on ever lucking out on such an event happening again. But it sure was fun to get in there at full speed, turn (this was way before the physics update) while plinking Tier II lights until they died and then getting to the other cap while everyone else was playing for the slugfest. I've never gotten to the EBR's but I imagine that they kind of feel like what that felt like. But the stress of the situation escalating at around 32 kmph was a bit much. Needless to say, my next match was another Tier II round and my expectations were met in that one. But yeah, Tier I, if they had a server where seasoned players could play together in those lower tiers, I'm sure it could be a lot of fun. The fun dies when it turns into seal-clubbing.
Quicky baby I love you so much. I don't even play wot on PC but I've been playing on console for almost 2 years and you are my favorite to watch. I can literally fall asleep to your voice.
As 1 of the 2 grilles let me first say again gj on your play. But never forget im also a follower of your stream. And the game was for us also very stressfull because of the 3 meds camping behind us . Then we had to take the far side . You probably didnt know QB that i missed a shot at both the fv and the grille earlier. So when for us average player it wasnt fun to hear you go nuts after the game finished at me. I learned alot from your streams and still do . Happy hunting in WOT from Belgium and the Netherlands.
the best play after the grille shot you the first time would have been to take the 277 shot and finish him off, your dpm would have ensured it. then you could have hidden from both TDs and not needed your friendly to help at all
It's impossible situations like these where you see his 12 years of experience. This wasn't a crazy 1 v 7, but it was his impossible situation playing ring a roses around a rock with while under fire from 3 tanks while capping that makes it mind boggling that he won
Had a similar situation in my hetzer couple days back. Pinned down on 3 sides by 3 tanks. Back to the wall. Managed to kill 2, 3rd one tracked me. 4th tank comes flying in and rammed me to death. Adrenaline rush indeed.
My most stressful game was a Kolobanov’s/Pools medal match on Malinovka in my Su-100m1 (Pre 263 line rework), so more Of a turretless Medium than it was a turretless heavy back then.
This is an absolute beauty of a game. One of these that makes the game worth it. Well nahhhhh.... not really. It is so frustrating playing this game that one game in the whole week doesn't change anything. The only thing that does is remind you what a great game used to be and then to slap you in the face on the next game with what has become. Besides, for the 99% of the players it would have ended where the 277 charged on him. Even if it hadn't ended there, definately would have ended when the Fv got the back of M60. Only a guy with 80000 games could have bearly pulled it off. Playing other games where stressful exciting games happen more often is preferable. Such as Total war series where huge games literally being won on single unit left.
m60 is one of the best tanks... this canon hits every pixel and the engine is strong af. out of distance the turret armor works like a charm... his playstile is kind of unique... what do you want more from a tank.
I had a lot of tense games in the past, when I had to get a 10min break afterwards to come down :) Like my best game ever IS3 on ruinberg T9 match up running out of ammo while killing multiple tanks including an AMX 50 120, bouncing shell after shell as he was dumping his mag on me
I play World of Tanks Blitz on the Nintendo switch and I also have played World of Tanks Blitz on my laptop as well, and it seems like the most stressful situation for me was in the match where I got my very first Kolobanov Medal. I cannot remember what vehicle I was in, but I had to destroy five enemy tanks out of the seven on the enemy team I think it might have been on the lower tiers like tier four or five, but at the time I think I had fought less than 250 battles, so it was definitely nerve-racking for me because I had never gotten into a 1v5 situation in a regular encounter battle and think there might have been one tank on the enemy team that was at full hit points but all of the other ones had a chunk of their hit points taken away from my team damaging them and when I hit that final shot to destroyed that 5th and final enemy tank it was like a giant weight was lifted off me when I hit the kill shot on the enemy vehicle breathing a big sigh of relief I don't know how I managed to do it, but it was overwhelming for me to the point where my heart was racing and I was absolutely speechless about how I managed to pull off that win for my team
Most stressful time in WoT? Before the T-50 was nerfed years ago I drove straight into the enemy cap from the start of the match. I got the counter to 98% dipping & driving my ass off before someone shot me. I lit the whole team before taking that 1st hit too. Their whole team had turned & was trying to shoot me or ram me in their cap. This gave time for my whole team to drive up behind them & take them apart. I think the match lasted under 4 minutes.
Great game quicky baby . I did something similar with my tier 8 russian tank distroyer 108 , I forget the maps but my last rounds wear awsome the first map had the blimp. and i was staying behind the mound to the north and with the hieght of the turett spoting the other team comig thru the rocks and around the blimp. I helped spot and then when the other two who where pushing got taken out I took on five tanks problem was they had a hard time hiting me because of my Hull down positon. Good job 👍
my team makes me sick every game

Lol
same, monkeys with 50k games that barely have a clue how to play
Especially weekend teams 🤢
@@_getangeloed4202 I had a monkey with 70k games 😭
Chaos has a charm all its own; so long as you expect no more, or no less, from the game, it remains worth playing.
Holy shit qb wtf??? That was some intense inhuman level of plays
I remember watching this game live on twitch and my heart was beating so quickly from how tense it was. Great job QB!
Do you happen to have the link to the stream? Would love to watch how it happened live! Thanks
When was it?
That game was classic Tundra from start to finish. If there’s any map that throws up unpredicable outcomes, it’s this one.

Yes, WG are clearly aiming their products at younger audiences over time. Kids like speed, not patience.
QB, thanks for these uploads and for talking through these situations. Being able to perform well under pressure because I hear a voice from across the pond guiding me makes the game way more fun to play, so thanks!
That one tense game between endless roflstomps, that makes WoT experience worthwhile.
"Zeus of juice flashes the mustache at the leopard" is one of the best line you've said QB and I've watched hundreds of your videos
I both love the M48 and the M60. Their Gunhandling is so crazy good xD

Definitely

great game well played - kinda like golf you can suck at it for decades but a single hole-in-one will keep you playing for life.
One dramatic replay, great narration also
