    Suggestion for the large pavers; if you decide to have a nice bird bath, you can use them to put the birdbath on it, so that it won't sink in the ground over the years. I did that and 11 years later, it still looks good. Y'all are doing a fabulous job on Casa 1923!!!

    I did a yard clean-up similar to yours. The overgrowth, fallen leaves, and at least a foot of fermentation was piled up around the house. Once it was all cleared away, the fresh smell in the house was so wonderful....like the house could breathe again too! I so admire your work ethic and your vision for your new home. You have more than earned every square inch of pride and enjoyment once you can live there. Wishing the best for both of you, as well as your furry family members.❤

    Trick of the trade for refinishing square trim... Remove the trim, remove the nails, and just flip over. It saves the old trim, gives you a fresh surface, and also an idea of if water has ever intruded in that area.

  • @GrannyGetYerFun
    @GrannyGetYerFun Месяц назад +11

    Please don't pressure wash the ceramic tiles on your roof nor paver stones. And dont let anyone walk on those roof tiles unless they absolutely need to. This is the best advise we received from our home builder - South FL. Pressure washing will form microscopic holes in the roof tiles thus shorten the life of your roof. It's best to hire a company to apply a bleach rinse. The rain will then wash it all off and your roof will be clean. Some of your plants won't like the bleach rinse water, but they'll recover. Ours do every time.
