    Dev kinda deserved all the doomposting their getting, Dive probably is hell for new players ( if the game actually have ) with the hp of ship that's keep depleting

      Well I just focus on finding the repair stations in the dive. Also ship hp depletion is replacement for the ammo that was removed. It needs to have something otherwise you could just do everything with 1 squad.
      Also Normandy is very useful there, and it's N rank ship.

      They removed ammo, so you should expect something in replacement no? Or else you would abuse using only 1 ship.
      But I gotta agree other aspects are worse, especially the many more nodes and sweep removal.

    Not just dives GR, new players are going to constantly run out of gold with the new levelling system purely relying on contracts. Also, rip to the new players who cant 110 low rarities with dupes and now have to use their crystals/quartz to level them up. Devs, I dont care how many selectors yall give, if the long term is going to be shit like this, then whats even the point.

      This, apart from the horrendous UI(compared to the one before), was the first things I noticed when I came back after quitting for like a year, how the fk did they think it was a good idea to make it so SR, R and N units needs fusion cores to get past lvl 100? It now feels even more like shit when you get those units again, the only thing you can do with the copies now is make them c6 , what is the point of using low rarity units if you are still gonna waste a lot of resources on them?

    Forgot to mention it's harder to get all rewards from danger close. The update is a overall nerf on everything pretty much.

    The rewards from the boss nodes was restored with the last update. For me dives are just way too long. They have more than double the amount of nodes now. You cant even auto them anymore, since a wrong artifact can destroy an entire run and then you loose your entry for that day. I wonder how many days most players will need for dive 50..

    Counterside turning into a full time job and you just get measly rewards.
    Who asked for the old content to be more grindy, time consuming and less rewarding? If they wanted to add more endgame they needed to add new content with new rewards and not just rehash the old one but making it worse and more expensive.

    I'm currently stuck on Dive 34. The boss of the final wave can perform a stunning attack which affects all units on the field and kep them permanently stunned. The difficulty spike is...interesting. I think people without a wide variety of units are going to really struggle with it.
    Dive sweeps in Origin were replaced with Safety Mining. You can do Safety Mining on an explored Dive level. I haven't tried it myself but you seem to be able to use your permits to stack dive runs. However, it doesn't seem like you can do Safety Mining on dives generated by branch facilities.

      Stun is bas d on unit type, check enemy info, any enemy with special function upon death is what's stunning you, it will stun units that are the same type as it when it dies, ie: strikers, rangers, supporter.

      I fully auto'ed D34 easily, no stun immunity buff and cleared the boss stage under 1 minute. So for now Imma chill while I can. I'm F2P btw

      @@andc2602 Just add a Defender and two Snipers to the mix, they'll never get stunned (there are no Sniper/Defender enemies in that fight). Xiao Lin in particular is very strong, but due to the sheer amount of enemies that spawn, you may want to run a Sniper with some AoE damage like Edel Meitner, Karin Wong, Dash...

    Dives just require you to think now. Not being able to skip sucks. Also,
    Mobs stun you based on unit type, if you check enemy info anything with special action upon death is what's stunning you, it stuns units that are the same as itself. So if the enemy was labeled as a striker it will Perma stun all strikers after dying, if supporter, will stun all supporters. There's one for each unit type.

      Pretty much. So far all you need is a mech team, a team with a good defender. Those two teams can get you through at least 36.
      Having to manually choose the stages so you don’t get stomped sucks but it isn’t difficult

    CS is bringing a lot of negative emotions for me now. I play games to relax, not worry/stress. I realised that i started to dread logging in to CS now.. I'll quit for now, adding sweep to dailys is nowhere near enough to give me back my enjoyable experience.
    I was sold on a game, and overnight, what i was sold on was replaced by something completely different - it's like waking up and your wife lieing next to you is now a fatdood. Maybe some people turn off the light and try to enjoy fatdood, but not me.

    On top of that, the crafting gacha part makes it undesirable to play. You can get ANY combo of gears and most likely not the one you want or anything you can use.

    I can understand the motivation behind changing the dives, the devs wanted players to engage more with the dives, but the changes made them insufferable. Not only is is basically impossible to auto them after you reach around 20 something because each node has some annoying bs (that already slows down your progress) but they are waaaaay too long. The old dive 50 had about 12 nodes, but the new dive has 16 at level 30. I dread dives now since they take 20-30 minutes at least for a single dive and they want us to do at least two per day, even more if we count branch dives.
    The only motivation I have to keep doing dives is that I want to go back to the good old days of farming gold bullets, but as soon as I finish dive 50 I'm never touching it again. Heck, unlike the previous system, the resources don't renew so we have 0 motivation to do dives again after we're done. Terrible update for dives.

      Yeah, thats what I did. I was supposed to hold off the 50 main dives until March as the amount of Info I have then was way low. But when the origin update on global showed how bad the dive have become, I just had to make compromises by spending ownerless business cards to get info and finish the main dive ASAP

    I thought they made that the dive is not reseting anymore and once you finsh one you can go back to swap the one you cleared before with the exploration permit the you get 2 every day, which will give you imaginary core and eternium, amount base on how deeper the coordinate is.
    When you do the coordinate you already cleared, its called safety mining and skip the fight as well.
    Safety mining from first one is 30x imaginary core and 500x eternium, I don't know how much you get at 50 but at 30 you get 69x imaginary core and 800x eternium

    I got stuck on dive 49. I was failing Veronica strat, didn't have enough for rearm est, and hilde strat I was failing too. I was excited when I was going to get awaken Jake for dive 49+50.. But then it all changed. I have done 2 dives since change. The update doesn't seem good enough so I will still stay away.

      There's a tip to make Vero strat easier in the boss stage, make Rojo use his ult first then just deploy Vero at his back. I sweep D49 before update using this. Make sure to deploy Vero as front as possible

    I think you're right that the features they're implementing are for new players. Or ones that aren't in end game yet. Because by removing the ability to reset dives. It will be less "fomo" for early-mid game players . They won't need to forcibly use a reset key if they can't clear everything before the reset key expires. In addition, they can probably buy more ship mats weekly and can fully skip dives with safety mining. I say probably because I don't know how good the rewards are after first clearing the last dives and I don't have any calculations for it. I'd say don't trust me bro. That's just my take on it.
    But as a sea (kind of) end game player, I'll probably don't need the feature since I'm already done farming with the ships and I'm only after the one time clear which is pretty much for the quartz.

But I didn't do the calculations since I barely play global. So again, don't trust me bro, I don't have source for this one.

      @@natoreyes7308 ? You get way less mat overall than you do before. Also you forget that your branch dive lvl matches the last dive you clear so if you overachieved, you essentially screwed yourself over cuz you cant demote the lvl on your branch dive so you either have to delete it or save which will take even more time due to how they nerf passive xp and mats and requiring gold for pretty much everything now. Shadow palace is pretty much an etherium dump and they nerfed danger close rewards. Even with bside buffing the amount of gold we get now, they just kneecapped everyone when they didnt have to do it in the first place. Just changing things for the sake of changing things

      I'm somewhat of a "new" player and most of what I liked about the game has been downgraded, the only thing a new player would like is that the branch missions no longer use up the characters you sent to them. Other than that, I don't see anything good, I run a low level dive where my characters can kill the enemies fast, and I still can leave the game running for a good while and it's not finished yet

      A bit late now though, he should've made one way earlier only 1 day left to get that done now. Seems like GR is the only guy who will actually explain why he puts certain units in and the gears he's using. If you search any other guides they just show whatever team they have clearing it in 45 seconds - wow so helpful.

    I thought it as only me lol. Im stuck at dive 27 right now, because the mobs are insane. And stunning my whole team. Not sure what to do about it yet. Only Claudia Nelson and Frederick Doma seem to be immune to it, but they cannot handle the mobs alone obviously. And the timer ruins it too. I had trouble at dive 25 too, but i had used New Detroit with only strikers and Edel because her strikers minions, that helped me beat it. eah its harder now for sure.. and totally a strategic thing too.

      Rearm Xiao Lin for GENERAL CONTENT backline DPS.
      Rearm Esterosa for GENERAL CONTENT frontline tanking.
      Both Rearm Alex and Rearm Orca are highly situational (nichè) as they are mostly used for Anti-CO & Anti-Replacer Danger Close contents, although you can still use them for stages that have Replacer or CO-dominated enemy types.
      With Rearm Xiao Lin, you can slap on HP + ATK or Full Crit DMG gears and she'll do fine (full ASPD or Full CDR set gear is ideal as those give her the best optimal middle ground balance).
      Rearm Esterosa, yeah just slap a full HP or HP+DEF or HP+ATK gear on her and she'll tank just about anything to her beautiful face without flinching.
      Rearm Orca and Rearm Alex require a very specific gear combination in order to perform well, such as HP + ATK for Orca for example.

    Yeah having trouble running an auto team on those stages where the nodes with ritual altars just perma stun you making you fail the run :(
    Hope that you can come up with a guide for that, it definitely will help a lot newer players to play through the Dive

    some days ago I just tried to do the new shadow palaces, and they were way harder that before but still managed to reach floor 60, that mechanic of needing 3 teams separately just spike the difficult for new players.
    The new format of danger close, I think they put too much on the DC shop, those point aren't enough to buy all the things that we could before, I haven't see anyone mentioning this.
    On Dives I autoed dives up to 29, but with dive 30+ if I want to pass the nodes then I doing it manual/semi auto(just selected the artifact and nodes to fight) it's a must because normandy's self healing stops being enough and it forces you to build teams specifically of mechs, soldiers, and counters separately if one of them gets countered to the ground on some dives, without mentioning that if a node take more than 40 secs, then thats is 1/3 of the ship HP it's crazy that hp drain.
    and the reward are just plain bad, considering how hard they made the new dives.
    hope they work soon on that.
    I consider the lifted up difficulty on some stages was unnecessary, specially on SP and Dives.

    I feel like everything is supper hard now i was close to beat most of the content but now i strugle so much. And Dive like take foreever and are way harder.

    Sweep is only available on branches because Dives are a one time thing now. They won’t get reset anymore.

    Regarding Dives, there is no sweep in the main ones because 'reset coordinates' is removed. You can't sweep something that you need to clear first. So branch dives scale with your main dive progress instead. It's all listed in the origin patch notes.
    I also want to add that I like the difficulty of the new dives, plus I like how themed they are now, with each depth actually having different themes, Depth 1 Red, Depth 2 Purple, Depth 3 Green, Depth 4 Old Fear/Society. It makes it more fitting with the lore of how each depth is more dangerous, while before it only increased levels and it was faceroll before 40.
    That being said it might need to be more friendly to new players, especially the Taskforce missions which scale with old dives.

      But its annoying for players who have cleared the dives to 45-50, not to mention the outrageous amount of stages to reach the boss, like old dive is short, now it took so much time.

      @@rohidzaidannasution6828 Their reasoning for that was because they made almost everything else skippable, like Shadow Palace, they wanted to invest that time into dives instead. But now that will be skippable too after clearing it once, on Feb 22 patch.

      They are as hard, and due to rng sometimes harder than dimension trimming.They are waste of time for the reward they give.
      If they want to be a challenge increase the reward and decrease number of stages by fourth of the new one.
      As it is now, evolve one and gold farm are just for old players.

      @@kundankumar-tw5wm You only need to do them once, and now they're adding sweep back next patch. There is no reset coordinates anymore, so it needs to be harder than they were before, and let's face it, there were faceroll before dive 40. First depth was level 12 boss.

    Don't know if you know this, but i found out you can at least sweep the previous levels on dives and use up your tickets that way so they don't pile up. Also dislike how branch dives seem to scale with main dives. Such a shame because i really love this game, but this update was quite the step backwards.

    For those who are doing Dives right now, *STOP* ! When you reach Level 20 Dives, the enemies are too strong for your units, to the point where your entire ship will burn down in Dive node. Wait for this update and then see if they fixed that.

      @@brandodio2358 When you go to the Discussions tab on Steam, you'll read a lot of players not being able to finish a certain Dive depth because of how strong enemies are. Another reason why they stopped is because the Dives you get from your Branches *match the level of the Dive Depth you last played* . Bside removed the separation between the Dives you get from the Branches and the Dive level you reached. Altogether *they need to bring the past Dive back AS IS* . Period.

      @@Loyal2law ofc the old dives are better for now, I cleared 9 branches dives after clearing D34 today, all full auto so it hasn't become a problem for old F2P players (like me) at D34, mean it will soon be. I discussed with some whale/day 1 F2P players and they are worrying about it too. All of us want this to get fixed, some old players also want dives to become more challenging and the new dives are giving them fun. All Bside need to do is adjust difficulty on lower dives and branches dive for newbies, or just increase the rewards significantly

      @@Loyal2law The deal is that some nodes are extremely hard but with equally extreme counters.
      For example:
      - Corrupted Soldiers/Tank: They have insane damage/resistance against Counters; but take 200% extra damage from Mechs. A single Titan or A.Horizon can clear it in seconds.
      - Old Fear: Enemies Stun characters of the same class when they die. Strikers mostly, but you can find Ranger/Supporter on Hard nodes and Core. So, a team heavy on Defenders or Snipers will have no trouble.
      - Regular C.O: They take triple damage from Defenders, but are hardly a problem. Fodder nodes that can be easily cleared without an specific setup.

    Everything about 6.0 is increased grind, increased MANUAL grind, and just increrased player stress/suffering. No thought was put into player fatigue. Counterside went from very enjoyable to a complete chore. I quit Genshin because of chores. If Counterside wants to become another chore, I'll gladly just drop it too. I wanted a game, not a second job.
    Dives were one of the best/hands off methods for account progression, and now they need to be functionally done manually from Depth 26 onwards because of how ridiculous the encounters are. You can't auto because the script just takes the dumbest artfacts, and sends counter teams into the Anti-Counter node, etc etc. The devs think it's fun to see all Strikers and Supporters in a perma stun lock until the unit dies. Even if you build proper counter-node teams, you have to select each team manually for the specific node. Why even include an auto function that essentially DOES NOT WORK. Each dive depth is like 20 minutes and INCREASING with depth.

    I encountered some weird bird looking guy who shoots laser at you in dive, I was pretty confident that my ahilde gonna tank and imma melt him like any boss, then all of a sudden he freaking teleports to my ship and sweeps every single unit regardless of them being air or ground unit and leaves my ahilde on half hp and then jumps back, I was like wtffffffffff

    A few things about the dive that I hate now, mainly before I could full autobattle (coordinates 45) but now if I do that I'm going to get owned. The auto just sends the first ship in for me until it blows up and it loves to attack the strong enemy soldier teams which are basically immune to counters, I have a specific team to kill those but it still is 30x tougher than the last boss? I also dislike how you only get 4 ships but it is 17 fights deep (exploration coordinates 32).
    I am opposite of you GR I think the main dive should be the unskippable one, but the dailies should be skippable and have the main dive reset like they used to (obviously that's never going to happen again). Also that perma stun of strikers and that there are 2 different groups that do that is just sadistic. The artifacts also some are laughable, one was like +5% deployment gain and you take +20% amp damage somehow I doubt that is ever going to be worth it. The ships losing HP is also annoying as hell, it might not be so bad too if you didnt lose HP during the "Win" screen as well which is another 10 seconds of damage every time.

    Dive in Origin pros/cons
    Pros:
    - Can get etherium and dive currency by sweeping cleared floors
    - 1 ship can carry you all the way removing the ammo system per fight
    - Artifacts are really good now
    - Doesnt cost any info using a special currency
    Cons
    - Nerfed rewards
    - takes too long to complete

    Conclusion:
    I want my old dives back due to better rewards. Hope they compensate us a better system else the whole update will become a disaster

      New dives are interesting, more challenging which is what some old players and I like, I'm having no problem auto'ing dives atm but ofc, Bside gotta do something about this, there're so much stuff besides difficulty to complain about

      In conclusion, the biggest problem is AI. Since It'll mostly pick the worst ones (when auto ofc)

      @@brandodio2358 the problem is that in many the cons far outweigh the pros. It feels pretty unfair if you end up getting three of those and end up messing with your dive because of them.

    I agree the dive is pretty rough. I feel like anything with a skip function got screwed. Imho they needed more skip features such as for raids. Maybe its just me but I have a hard time figuring where things are at on the UI. It is overly complicated! I personal problem is taking away exp from stages. I enjoyed leveling up different characters at once rather then just one at a time with limited resources. Really slows down the pace. They had a great thing before but now playing it is starting to not be as fun.

    I didnt even used to skip the old dive. I used to manual it to get the most artifacts I can cause I'm free to play and always need more credits. But this new dive is tedious even on auto you have to babysit it. Whether it be to trigger ship heal skill or the auto picking horrible artifacts and sabotaging the run (which now in the main dive uses up tickets). Just a horrible change to an okay piece of content. The same could be said for almost everything with this New Origin update.

      I wouldn't mind dives being harder if we could still farm gold bullets if we beat dive 50 pre update but it kinda screwed alot of people who were close. Now I don't know if I'll even make it to dive 50

    I honestly never used the sweep function because I was not sure what it was giving me as reward for charging extra infos and I was always kinda short on info. What I really dislike is that now the auto function doesn't seem to work anymore, if I don't manual and actually pay attention what ship I'm using they will just all die, before anything from the branches or lower then 40~45 was really easy and now I have to micro manage all the nodes during the dive..

    I start my first dive. Then I put that phone down and pick up my tablet to do my dailies on Nikke. Then I do my second dive, put the phone down, and do my Nikke dailies on second account. Counter:Side dives keep me engaged in Nikke. Good job, bside!

    They need to revert back Dives changes i dont think bringing skip back will fix it cause only 2 try per day and if you fail you lose 1 try bad change Bosses are super annoying perma stun strikers are useless counters are useless or get melted and thats a dive 32. Also probably balanced to ship lvl 110 and with units that global dont have.

    I noticed I can sweep dives still but i got my squad wiped around level 30 when the ranger soldier team came in. Luckily I have guren and titan to one shot them now but my tank squad gets wiped instantly. Jake hilde and gura get melted😂

    Imo, dives getting harder somehow made me feel... Fun. I'm having no problem clearing dive atm, I cleared D34 on full auto easily today and got lots of eternium from branches dive (lv.96 if I remember correctly). Nevertheless, new dive took me longer than I expected, I'm hoping that the rewards from [safe mining] at D50 or higher dives in general will worth it. I also hope that Bside will do something with dive, so much drama recently :P

    CHANGES are always hard to accept, they are making the game HARD for old players so that WE will have something "new", "challenges" to do.. cause we have cleared ALL the content as of now.. to make it seem that the game has "more" content.. for the new players they make it hard so that they will have to "whale" to get better teams, build faster teams by spending for resources etc.. equips are being sold in the shop as compared to "farming" for the equips that we can easily get if we are strong enough (old players).. so all in all the changes are there to "incentivize" more spending from new and old players alike.. its a bad practice but its the most common one.. sad outlook for counterside..

    Dives for sure are painful to do now they really need to fix this because its way harder now, but I dont care about the sweep because I just leave the game autoing and do something else but they need to fix the difficulty for sure... as for shadow palace I think its better now cuz now I can craft more that 10 equips per day compared to before that I could only craft like 30 per week maybe

    At this point I kind of miss the chess mode, too. They freed up ships from the world map dispatches, so things like chess mode are more accessible now. Anyways, making things harder by making them excessively longer is not the way. Making things harder like how challenge mode is what it should be
