- Here are the TOP 17 Disneyland Ferris Wheel FREAK OUTS! Pixar-Pal-Around, formally known as "Mickey's Fun Wheel", also known as "Mickey's Wheel of Death", has perplexed me. As someone who has had major anxiety/panic disorder and debilitating agoraphobia for over 20 years, I can't understand why I find these freak outs so freakin' hilarious! Maybe it's because I can truly relate with their fear, and humor is the only sick way I can process it? Have YOU been on the Pixar-Pal-Around swinging gondolas? I have never been on it and I never, EVER will!!

I went there a few months ago. I love big rides and when I saw this ferris wheel with swinging I thought "cool. I gotta go on it." Never did i expect it to actually scare me to the point of actually crying. I was terrified. I didn't go on another ride for a few hours after that.
They really don’t give guests a proper warning about how terrifying it is!😬 My heart goes out to you, Devin!😩 You may have cried, but at least you didn’t shit your pants like others probably have.😆💩

I went there with my parents and they hated but not my dad he said it was fun not for my mom well I don’t know if my brother liked its or hated it and I said it was Staten hell I hope that they remove the moving thing on the Ferris wheel

I don’t want this video to end lmao! I have a TERRIBLE time on standard Ferris wheels, huge fear of heights but I always wind up laughing once I get off the ride. I wanna cry myself to madness on this one. It looks absolutely horrifying yet easy to underestimate.

What's scary about this ride is not just the swinging surprise; it's the fact that we're trapped in a little crate and if that crate snaps off, then we're going to drop in the pier with no escape. This is my horrible thought process when I was on the ride. I would still say the scariest ride is Mission Break (Guardians of the Galaxy), but the ride at least felt safe. This merry-go-round of doom is not safe.
I'm not a fan of families who film their loved ones under stress, so I couldn't watch the whole video but I did catch the happy couple who said, "we went all the way around, and we didn't swing" then they got their moment hehe.
In my opinion it wa the best ride I ever ride on because its fun
You’re reasoning is exactly why I can never go on this attraction, Sermalla! Especially because I have pretty bad agoraphobia and the thought of being trapped in a little crate so high up during a panic attack is absolutely TERRIFYING! While researching these videos I saw a fair share of people who were panicking and were asking CMs to get off, but their request was not granted for whatever reason and they had to go around again.😩
I can really understand where you’re coming from about not being a fan of families who film their loved ones in distress, but I was laughing so hard, even knowing well it should NOT be funny.😆 Maybe it’s because I can imagine I’d absolutely be freaking out just like they were and I’m sure Ryan would be recording me doing it.😂 With that said, I came across many videos of parents recording their little kids freaking out, and that REALLY sat with me wrong and of course I did not include any of those.💕

that's me on the IT'S A SMALL WORLD ride. The most terrifying 10 minutes of my life and I still have nightmares about those thousands of horrible singing puppets.

This is a direct descendant of the 102-year-old Wonder Wheel at Coney Island New York opened in 1920 and has a perfect safety record through all those years and just as terrifying

Yep I live in Brooklyn and that is definitely a copy of the famous wonder wheel at Coney Island! I think the wonder wheel might be a little smaller in size but is indeed terrifying… I’ve been on that wonder wheel 4 times and scares me every time! Lol
I remember I went on this for grad night after going to the roller coaster that’s nearby thinking it was going to be something nice and mellow. I got on it and that shit was 10x scarier than the coaster! What made it worse is that my dickhead friends at the time made it swing even more intentionally 😂

Me too. I rode it in 2004, with my husband and 6 year old daughter. She loved it , I was terrified and no amount of money could make me do it again!! She still gives me crap about it to this day!😅

I went on the ride with my husband, my brother, my brothers wife and his 11 year old son. The adults couldn’t hold it together. We screamed and cried. The child was perfectly calm. It was such a terrifying ride. The Ferris Wheel of Doom!!

I rode this ride yesterday because my wife wanted to. It made me feel sick. But there were three ladies from New Zealand who sat across from us. Two of them also felt sick, but the younger lady (late 20's or so) seemed to love the ride. During the first of our two rounds, she said it tickled her parts she couldn't say. During the second round when the swinging intensified, she laughed uncontrollably. I think she had a special experience from her ride. 😉

This is great to watch. I admit, the one time I went on this ride I didn't know what to expect. I decided to eat both flavours of Señor Buzz's Churros before going on this ride. My reaction was pretty much the first rider hahaha. I did get motion sickness by the end and was pretty terrified hahaha.
Good times and I'm glad I'm not alone thinking this ride was scary as hell. Hahaha.

To me it's the fact that you swing back vertically and somehow not fall to other end of the cage.
One minute you're stationary, then all of a sudden, you're not. When the gondola starts to move, it happens fast and picks up speed very quickly. If you're not ready for it, it throws you out of your seat. Making matters worse, there are NO SEATBELTS, nor is there anything to hold onto except for the grates in the cage.
My fiance was a victim of this ride, and once it started throwing her, she grabbed onto the cage and hurt her pinky pretty badly. She basically did what the first guy in this video was doing, locking her leg under my bench to keep from flying into my side. Pretty sure she has some damage to her knee now, because she's in massive pain (this happened three days ago).

It looked like it, didn’t it!😆 Poor guy! I passed out while going upside down on The Viper at Six Flags Magic Mountain. I started to see black spots at the beginning of the loop, and then lights out until after the loop. I don’t go on big roller coaster rides anymore. I’ve never even been on The Incredicoaster for that reason. It sucks!😩

last time i was in disney i went on this ride and didn’t find it that scary honestly. its unpredictable and there are more variables to its movement than your average ride so ill give you that, but overall it just seemed fun and swingy.
I'm demented enough to make sure we got on one of the "spinning" ones. Then laugh as my kids peed their pants. I'd have taken Zofran at least an hour before going on it though.

I have high blood pressure and I live in constant fear of having a stroke or a heart attack. My raging anxiety disorder definitely doesn’t help things.🤦🏻♀️ My dad had his first heart attack at 37. I’m now 44. So this attraction is definitely OFF my list.😆❤️
