I would like to thank Weaver Leather Supply for allowing closed captions on their videos. For some of us, that is a necessity. Also, it's great that Chuck is so plain-spoken because it makes him easier to understand.
Finished up a project this weekend and realized the thicknesses of leather I needed to attach at one point in my pattern were not enough to get a good set for the shortest-shank hardware on hand, was really glad I had just watched this video and got the leather-"washer" trick! Why I always watch these videos even if it's not a project I'm particularly planning on making, always good tips in there.
Something I noticed is the sort of frosted-looking mylar sheeting often used to make patterns is essentially clear when directly in contact with what's behind it (or at least the brand I have on hand is) - could use up smaller off-cuts that would otherwise go to waste for the windows if you use that stuff to make your patterns!
Chuck nice Element! Short but Sweet! As you mentioned these are great give aways for Holidays, Birthdays, Graduations, etc. They come in handy and won’t brake the bank. These are the types of gifts that last a long time and are seen by your friends and family all year long. Most luggage tags are made of plastic like everything else today. Giving a leather item is an eye catcher. Everyone loves leather! Well, almost everyone. I’m sure the animal that gave up their leather skin probably wasn’t pleased. Oh well.
I love your tutorials
Chuck is my hero
"Let's see if we can coerce this out of the punch..., no, we can't..."
😂😂😂👌🏻👍🏻

One of these would look great with a stamp border and a mexican basket weave edge.
Все класно!!! но пленку прозрачную я подклеевал на узкий 2-ух сторонний скотч.

Good quality transparency sheets for overhead projectors work perfectly for the overlay.
Excellent work as always Chuck! Good talking with you this morning at the heart of Texas leather show!
Saludos👍👍👍
Is the pattern available somewhere?

I love how you’ve been including the tools and hardware needed for these project videos in the thumbnail!
I made something like this to keep my work badge in.
I will have to make myself some of these
The link isn't working for me. Where do I find these projects on the website? Thank you for doing all these wonderful videos!
