Once I went to jail and my (now ex) boyfriend had messaged a girl he was talking to and said That he was having to pretend to be sad that I went to jail in front of our friends when really, he was happy that I was gone and trying to make plans to hang out with her.

That’s not at all what it was. He was really looking out for her. He was delaying the DNA test and drew up separation paperwork to protect their money as long as possible. The separation paperwork was to take any financial liability off rasheeda if the baby came back to be his. In some states, both the father and his wife are financially responsible for child support. Georgia is one of them. And when the mother has custody and the father has to pay child support, they take 18% of the father and his wife’s income for child support for one child. Obviously, she will get A LOT more child support by them including both Kirk and rasheeda’s income instead of just kirk’s. The separation paperwork alleviates that financial responsibility from rasheeda.
Kirk may have an issue with being faithful, but he does care about rasheeda the best way he can in that moment in his life. He obviously has a ton of growing up to do being 52 years old, but what’s done is done. Rasheeda decided to stay with him so now they both gotta own up and take responsibility for Kannon. He wasn’t trying to manipulate her with those papers. He was trying to protect everything she’s worked so hard for.
The Kirk-baby situation will always be CRAZY.

Tommie's hurt hurts my heart. Her Mom is like my Mom. She blames Tommie for everything SHE chose to do. When a kid grows up being made responsible for their parents emotional, mental and physical well being, they're being set up for failure. They can't have a conversation with you because.....they can't tell you how THEY feel.... they learn to fear the mind games and become self protective and they keep you at an arms length. That's why, wether it's right or wrong, I have always been brutally honest with my kids about who and what I am. Part of that honesty involves being humble enough to admit when I've failed and apologizing sincerely and learning from my mistakes. My kids and I have had knock down drag out fights, only verbally, but we love as loud as we fight and I'm good with that. I hope Tommie's Mom learns that before it's too late. She's hurting herself as much as she's hurting her

Stevie is such a narcissist. He is now using his daughters as pawns in his fights. It's too bad they don't yet see how their father really is. Only a narcissist uses their own family members (daughters nonetheless) to do their dirty work without seeing anything wrong with it.
The problem is, because Joseline is so tough in appearance, nobody believes he was controlling with her. It doesn't excuse what she did when she said he mollested Eva. Nothing can excuse that. But let's be clear; Stevie was emotionally battering to this woman. You have to REALLY watch them to see it because she does come across as so tough. People don't believe strong women can be abused; controlled, but they absolutely can be and are. Look at Whitney. That's just ONE example. Stevie knew he wasn't going to get back together with Joseline; if you pay attention; he was obsessed with getting an apology. It was a control thing with him. He was saying and doing anything to get that damn apology. This makes him feel like even at the bitter end, when she's finally seen through all his bullshit, that he has some level of control, in any capacity. And because narcissists love to abuse a person and then victimize themselves, and convince themselves they were the abused party, in his head if she apologized, he was therefore right. And she was the evil one.
I have to admit there were moments I fell into the trap of liking Stevie and Joseline's ride or die thing at first, like when they fought "no-neck" and Althea at the reunion. That was hard to not to love. But I like Joseline over-all, despite her flaws. She is actually emotional, and damaged, and wants love. And gorgeous. Not that that matters but she has natural beauty that is unreal. Her features are perfect. I don't like everything she has done, but I do like her.
Stevie, on the other hand, is a scumbag who gets off on ruining women's careers. Or he sells them dreams that aren't realistic. Like Estelita. She doesn't HAVE IT. She is beautiful, but that is it. She can't sing, she can't dance, she doesn't have energy or charisma. But he just kept dragging her along. Messing with her head. So either he is incompetent in his work, by believing she actually does, or he is dragging her along just to mess with her.

I really feel for and resonate with Tommie. It’s crazy when I used to watch this show I always liked her. Now seeing how her Mom is I feel like that’s why I felt a connection with her. My Mom is the same way. Abused me and didn’t even care when CPS took me away what I went through. Then if I bring it up she gets mad at ME and yells at ME like I’m the one who did something wrong. It’s like you try to tell them that you’re hurting and it’s because of them and they just revictimize you. They’re NEVER WRONG. My mother has never said the words “I’m Sorry.” I’ve literally never heard her say it to me or anyone else. Ever. Worst type of mother to have. And I, like Tommie keep tryna help her and take care of her and she lets me down and treats me like shit every fucking time.
