I hung black foam board first with finishing nails, then applied the planks with double sided foam tape. But they started popping off so went back in with hot glue.

Ok...I bought all the supplies...starting on my project tonight. I'm having trouble getting the cut on the foam board straight and/or having ragged edges. Have you had that problem and if so how do I correct it? If I leave them the pieces will not lay neatly on each other. Help!!
