One really cool song to learn is "96 Quite Bitter Being" from CKY.
If you have an Octave (two of those or the OC-2 BOSS, actually) pedal with you, the song will sound PERFECT!

I love the Deftones, but I haven't listened to them in a good long time. Thanks for jogging my memory! My ex worked a few East Coast dates of a tour they were on in '95. '96? He was super excited to get back home with their CD so I could hear them. I'm going to sit down and learn this, it does look like it's fun.😊 Sorry it took so long for me to get here, but somehow my notification bell was turned off. 🤔

Thanks! I'm using Bias FX 2 for my tone here. I alternate picked the single note riff and down picked the power chord part. I think the original might be all down picking though.

How do you get around YT copyright stuff? I’ve seen other people get flagged for covers. As someone who plans on making a cover channel, what steps do you take to ensure you don’t get flagged?
Your videos will get claimed by the automated system so you won't earn any revenue (all revenue goes to the copyright owner), but in most cases the video will remain up without other issues.

How do you get perfect tones?
Again very nice cover. I'd like to hear your guitar more instead of a mix between the original and you. Get a app that creates backing tracks. You will be amazed.
