I know this is old, but if you ever wonder why you always get the same toy with some runs, it's because restaurants get shipments in separate big boxes of hundreds of the same toy in bulk, & they open one bulk box at a time until they need to open another with a different toy. So, if you are trying to get different ones, only buy one per day, or go inside and ask to trade an unopened duplicate toy for a different one if possible.

Mcdonalds shipment of happy meal toys is very specific. The boxes were mainly all number 8 due to that being the box they were shipped and that’s also what the employees put out to sell, sometimes you are able to request different numbers since McDonald’s will be shipped “Satisfaction Boxes” with all the toys.
