    You got some nice finds there. I live in NS too & feel so fortunate living only 1 1/2 - 2 hr drive to the beautiful Bay of Fundy. Loving your channel of sharing your finds of all the interesting locations you've visted. And also the beautiful shots of the landscape. Keep up the good work bro! (I started really getting in to rockhounding & lapidary just last August)

      I live the same distance from the Bay. I grew up next to it, such a beautiful place to hang out! I just started rockhounding a couple months ago, but did it as a child a little bit. I also am getting into lapidary. I plan on making rockhounding vids in the spring, summer, and fall months and lapidary vids in the winter! Thank you for your lovely comment, I appricate it! Shoot me an email maybe we can go rockhounding together sometime. Email is ramoutdooradventures@gmail.com

      @@johnfollett8891 What happens if everyone who visits keeps taking a box of rocks with them every time they visit? I mean if we all remove rocks from the shorelines. What will happen?

      @@br.m Well... if all the rocks disapppear from the shoreline I suppose everyone would have to buy a pick axe & start removing them from the cliffs 😉

    Good morning RAM OA from Grand Manan. When I was still able to beach comb/rock hound, I always carried a laser pointer with me. Even one of the cheap, cat toy ones is enough to check rocks for translucency. The light "pixelates", for lack of a better term. It's a really neat effect. Happy hounding to all you shiny rock ppl out there.

    Such a beautiful beach to rock hunt ! Like the water falls :) The rocks you find there are very nice and some look like what can be found in the States in Lake Superior ! Great drone footage also !

    Amazing pictures! And what kind of vehicle are you driving??? HELPFUL HINT: Don't move the rock so fast when you are showing it off. You're photographing shiny areas, too, and so it's difficult to get a good fix on the rock itself. Anyway: love your video!

    Several years ago, at a multi-club (rock, gem & mineral) picnic, I bought a box of unidentified 'Nova Soctia rocks' which I've done nothing with to date. Now I want to put some of the stones into CLR to see if the stones will clean up more. I have no idea where the stones were/are from in N. S., but I suspect from along the Bay of Fundy, or perhaps the 5 Islands area.

    What do you do with rocks? Do you tumble them or leave them as is?

    • @RAM-Outdoor-Adventures
      @RAM-Outdoor-Adventures  7 месяцев назад +1

      Tumbling for now. Leaving some as is, and got some surprises on the way!

    Great finds, enjoy your videos. I wish people would stop painting on boulders along the Bay of Fundy. I want to see the natural beauty, not someone's paint on a boulder. (refering to the pink panther someone painted on a boulder near start of the video)
