Hi! Your girls are sooo cute❤ Hope they enjoyed too. Animals were inside probably because you went there late. Many animals go home around 4pm, so it's better to go there in the morning.
Animals are also stressed by being exposed to the public eye all the time. They are not kept in small cages all the time. Please don't get it wrong.
The playgrounds of Giraffe, hippo,and some other animals were under construction so they were inside of their indoor rooms. So don’t worry. They have nice outside playgrounds now.

We had the とり釜飯! It was very good!
sad to hear about some of the animals in cages instead of a natural type of environment where they can at least roam. I would pay extra to have them build an extension for the giraffes 🦒 many zoos cost up to $70 a ticket but some of them build natural habitats for the wild animals. if they even charger $25 $40 or $50 they can make enough to hopefully build a larger habitat for the animals caged up 😢🥺
Some others have said they are building a new bigger area for those animals. I hope that’s true.
