No ding on Rachel, or this channel, but (in another YT channel) I teach a particular music form, and I always try to provide the very lowest level of information based on a request. One thing that content providers and YT's search algorithm get wrong is passing over the basics. If you search for "how do curling shoes work" it is immediately assumed that you already know the basic function of the shoe and want to compare various surfaces. The correct answer to the question is to illustrate how curling shoes work, demonstrate how the sliding shoe and gripper shoe act differently on the ice. Too often, content providers assume at too-high level of information coming into the area of interest or a too-specific answer to a request for info. That's my soap box, sorry.
I'm not a Curler but if Rachel says do it I'll have my flops dipped! :)
Why such an annoying loud background music?
