I have been playing around with the new nest perfume today. It’s definitely more of a grown woman sweet vanilla. It’s deep, dark and mysterious. Very interesting and different than your typical bakery, sweet vanilla🤓🤓🤓 intense Jasmine for sure🤣

Yes! It definitely smells like a grown woman vanilla, which is very interesting and has a unique mysterious quality to it. I’m still testing it out but so far I really like it.🤓🤓🤓
I just got my Yara Candy yesterday and I fell in love immediately so much so I already ordered a backup bottle lol! I do own Kayali vanilla Candy Rock Sugar (also have a backup!) and they are nothing alike and I love both so much!

I think you should definitely try out the Aqua Allegoria Florabloom from Guerlain, it has a lot of notes that you like. And I would looove to hear your thoughs on Emaan from Lattafa, a potent white floral, it wasn’t for me but I’m curious to hear your take on that one considering you are a white floral fan.

I love more of a creamy white floral that doesn’t smell like an actual “fresh flower” out of a garden but more like a sweet treat. Amaan was too “fresh floral” for me instead of cream sweet honeyed floral😋😋😋

I do not have good luck with Philosophy perfumes. Sometimes they smell like almost nothing. Glad you like the new one.

I don't know about prices in the US, but here, in Europe, prices for Devotion and Leisure in Paradise are the same (Devotion is 3 euros more than Leisure 🤭) Only niche perfumes are mostly not discounted.
Oh my goodness! Yes the prices are a bit different here in the US🤓🤓🤓
Technically, if you were to buy a 100ml devotion from Sephora it would be $155 which is only about $40 less than what I paid for 100ml leisure in Paradise.
However I can get Devotion on Jomashop for $80 now. So that makes leisure in Paradise $120 more which makes it seem drastically more expensive in my head🤣🤓

Of course, I will have to pay shipping and additional taxes which combined will be something around 40 euros or more, but it will still be cheaper than220 euros that I have to pay here, I don't have the patience to wait for black friday when sales will drop the price, but only because Kosmala is sold in a store that has discounts. Store that sells Simone Andreoli (as well as New Notes, Byredo, Kilian, Montale, Mancera, Sospiro, Memo, Ex Nihilo, Initio, Juliette has a gun, Marly and many more) don't have them, ever. Devotion here costs 148 euros, which seems similar, but Leisure is 145 euros, which is cheaper. maybe cause they are made in Europe..?
Thank you for mentioning Kayali Sparkling Lychee. Because of the black currant note I’ve been scared to blind buy Yara Candy because it has black currant like sparking lychee does and I’m not a fan of that fragrance. Too cloying sweet
To me personally, I feel like the black currant is taking a backseat in Yara candy. It’s not just a sweet gummy bear scent like KAYALI or Khair fusion. It’s got this slightly sour citrus note that makes this smell a little bit more like sour patch kids versus regular gummy bears. And this perfume is very very fizzy. and I definitely smell lots of strawberry 😋😋😋

Idk about the other variants but Yara Pink has a 1.7 oz size that is a more normal looking glass perfume bottle! Cheaper too ❤

That tuberose may get stronger, let it macerate first, the sandalwood may just already be strong before it macerates. It may get creamy later

I could not put my finger on what the dry down was with Yara candy and I'm just sitting here sniffing my arm and realizing it smells exactly like Guerlains sandalwood in their shalimar soufflé almost exactly like it, and I can smell strawberry very plainly

I’m one of the ones that Qaed is soooo black pepper spicy more than anything on. I don’t mind it but it’s soooo weird how some get no spice and some of us get almost all spice.

I stopped liking my yara it use to smell sooo good but not sure if my bottle went bad bought it 2 years ago. But the cap metal part cracked in half still stuck in the cap and now it smells weird powder smell. I usually like powdery scents but this one changed. Now I feel like I must buy yara candy!

That’s a shame about scandal. The nicest tuberose fragrance I’ve found is French Flower by Matiere Premiere. Saving my pennies for a bottle of that. Yara sounds good!

It’s $49 dollars on the Lattafa website or $50 on amazon. Those are the only two places I’ve seen them sold so far. I’m sure the prices will go down once the hype dies down.🤓🤓🤓

I feel the same way about Scandal Absolu. It was honestly quite a disappointment tbh... The sandalwood tampers with the tuberose and creates this woody coconutty fragrance that mutes a lot of the tuberose. It doesn't seem well executed imo.

I’m still playing with it at the moment to decide what I think but I will say the Jasmine in here is totally different than any other Jasmine I’ve smelt before. It’s very dark, sweet, grown woman date night scent😋

@@loriwiggs8599 I’m still not sure yet🤔 I will say, if I had bought a full bottle instead of the 10ml I wouldn’t be mad. However this is definitely more of a nighttime date night scent. Not really an everyday reach. I think this perfume would really shine in the fall and winter. So for now this perfume is a like. However it may turn into a love later on🤓
