Hi, I am doing my test in Kettering. I have a question about one of the roads if you could answer them please. So on Eskadil street when waiting to turn right. Once the light is on green and the car in front of you moves into the box with the arrow do you wait behind the them on the pedestrian crossing or before it? Thanks
Hiya... ideally you would leave the pedestrian crossing clear in case the lights change and you are in the way of crossing pedestrians but on that road, you are waiting to turn right in a precarious junction, so no matter what happens you would need to clear the junction before the crossing lights changed so it doesn't really make much difference. Just remember that generally, we leave crossings clear in slow-moving traffic (Rule 192).
