I get mine today! What was the cost of the quilting kit and expanded table? So anxious to get mine. I’ve heard awesome reviews about this machine. Thanks for your review.
Yay, how fun! As I mentioned in the video, I received mine for free from Baby Lock (I'm an ambassador with them), but looking on line, I see prices in the range of $120-$140 for the table. You may want to talk with the dealer where you purchased your machine. Have fun sewing!
It was difficult to follow you. The sound is not consistent. But I really needed the view of filling the bobbin and threading the machine to be clear. Your hand was in the way. It would help to discuss which way the disc goes to keep the thread on the spool. Good luck with your other videos.
I'm new to sewing and I purchased the Jubilant (my very first sewing machine) and a month ago. Really enjoying it. But I have broken 3 needles already and my bobbin thread keeps bunching up. Any suggestions?
Thanks for asking! My first thought would be to check the thread spool cap to make sure it is the right size for your thread. It can impact your thread tension which can bunch up bobbin thread and/or break needles. Beyond that, I would make sure you are replacing your needles after every 8 hours of sewing (or more often for some materials). You can also trouble shoot through my "how to use a sewing machine" guide for the Jubilant here: undergroundcrafter.com/2020/05/14/how-to-use-a-sewing-machine-for-beginners/ If you are still having problems, I recommend contacting the dealer to see if they have further recommendations. I hope this helps!
Love my new Jubilant! just purchased...question, where do I purchase the Table extension? I've looked everywhere online and ordering is a bit confusing... thanks for the Video
Glad to help! I would check with the dealer you purchased from. The part # for the extension table is BL80B-ET babylock.com/accessories/extension-tables/jubilant-extension-table. A lot of dealers are still shipping as "essential services" right now, and I've found that with an email or phone call to the store, you can place an order for items not listed on the website. You can find the Baby Lock dealer locator here if your local shop doesn't have it in stock www.babylock.com/retail-locator.
Great video! What size are the thread spools you received? I saw that and wanted to order. TIA P.S. I just ordered my Jubilant and waiting on delivery :)
My daughter (age 23) is a brand new sewer but very very crafty and wants to learn how to quilt and garment sew. Is this a good machine for quilting with several thick layers ?
Hi Robin, thanks for asking! You can definitely do quilting through thick layers on this machine. You may want to purchase accessories like the Quilting Foot Kit or the Walking Foot, or the Quilting Extension Table, if you know it will be used for quilting.
It has worked well for me! Here is a recent project I did. At the last "sew", I had a quilted front (with batting and 2 layers of cotton fabric), a liner, and the handles. You can also adjust the feed dogs if you need to.
I looked in the troubleshooting section of the manual and it says that if the error message starts with F, your machine may be malfunctioning and you should contact your dealer. I hope this helps!
Thanks for the feedback! This is an unboxing video, designed to show what is in the box. You might want to look for a tutorial about setting up your sewing machine if you need help with doing that. For example, this one shows how to thread the Jubilant ruclips.net/video/EwGwHXgFvQI/видео.htmlfeature=shared

I keep everything when I unbox a machine. that way if and when I move I can put my lovely back in the package and it will be safe in the move
I do the same with my sewing machine boxes!

Great Video Thank You!
Thank you for this video. You go at a much better pace than the manufacturer video.
Thanks for your kind words. Glad to help.

It looks like a great machine!
I am loving it so far!

I make a lot of pot holders and they can get a bit thick. How well does this machine do with thickness?

your volume is way to low. when you got next to the machine while doing the bobbin for a second you were ok.
My foot pedal won’t work any idea why? It beeps and says f4 all I did was bring it to my moms it’ll sew with the start stop but not the pedal

Number of Foot please.
There are 7 included feet.
can this machine perform a twin needle stitch?
Yes! You can find a project on the Baby Lock website here: babylock.com/learn-and-create/projects/decorative-stitched-twin-needle-sewn-wallet
Is that your real hair color? I love it and it looks good on you!
Thanks, yes, I'm naturally grey with some of the original dark brown left over.
Cant hear you!
I cannot hear you. So disappointing......
Can’t hear you
Not a super helpful video as a beginner especially if the primary steps to thread the bobbin is not clear.
