Hello everyone, thanks for all the views. Been a crazy morning around here, our first calf was born this morning and calving season has officially begun. Check out the pictures on facebook @ facebook.com/OurWyomingLife/ I will now get to answering comments, bear with me! - Mike
That's great Mike it's officially now started.now👍☺ our neighbour yesterday next door started with their very small herd to a Saler/Angus mixed calf. 👍 🐃🐂
Our Wyoming Life ,,, watching you load your cake feeder I got an idea; Loading those bags and lifting them into that feeder is going to trash your shoulders and back. 💡 Idea; Build a rack to stack the cake bags at the same level as the hopper on the feeder. Then you can stand at that level and just move the bags a few feet across to the hopper and dump into the hopper. No more lifting, turning, lifting, all things that will trash you over time. Stay safe and God bless !
Nothing better than watching your videos on a florida heavy rainy day !!!! ….. I never experience snow yet but I’m ok watching it from far away !!!! May The Lord continue blessing your family & the farm
For years now, I’ve been dying to escape the city and the ridiculous fast food industry and work on/ start a farm or ranch. It’s my eventual goal. But until then, I’ll enjoy that life through this channel.
I live vicariously through you. I grew up in the city and every summer went south to visit the family farm..I hated it but now as I watch these videos I have a nostalgic feeling about it
Thanks Mike /Erin for bringing us along on your journey. It’s been along cold winter all over. We have had more days in the -30/-45*C range than in the last several years here in Alberta. Stay warm and hopefully I will catch you on the next live stream. Scott.
Thank you very much Scott, sounds cold up there, we have a little storm on the way. Of course all the standing water is freezing and the whole place is a muddy ice skating rink. We should start a hockey team! See you soon - Mike
Wow, this guy is amazing I love his family and the dedication and hard work he does everyday for his family and animals and everything in general, truly admirable.
19 thousand subscribers..... you’re doing something right! Love the show. Every time my 8yr old granddaughter comes over she says “Hey Pap, lets watch Wyoming Life!”
I've been watching since this channel was about 4 months old. After watching my first video, I went back and started at the beginning, watching through the backlog and then keeping up in real time. You've had a lot of great videos, but I think this one, "mundane" as it is, is one of my favorites. Here's hoping the rest of your new high tunnel experience goes better than its first impression.
Mike , thank you all so much for allowing us to tag along with you on one of your days on the ranch !! Very interesting and busy as well!!! Enjoyed it a lot!! You all be safe and God richly bless you !!!!!!! Eddy
I know zero about ranching, but the great thing about your channel for all to see is the art of enjoying life doing what you love. There are no dress rehearsals. Your channel is terrific!
Just found your channel. I love this video. The best part for me is you get to be home (working hard) and see your family throughout the day. Your rush hour traffic is a bunch of cows and you get to breath clean air. I leave my family for 10+ hours sit in a office cube looking at spread sheets, I get to sit in bumper to bumper traffic just to get home a few hours before my children go to bed. You are living the best life my friend!
I am from other country and am always interested in usa or canada ranch life and you have shown me how it is and am grateful for it. Thank you and your family and GOD bless you.
You have a very busy life, which is good but lots of headaches.but I like how you really love your animals, part of the family.the equipment is valuable ,time saving, again god bless you and your family.
Your video just popped up into our recommend videos yesterday. Now I've spent my weekend binge watching your videos. Don't stop making videos I'm addicted.
Thank you Mike its along day for a Rancher . Most of what I learned about Ranching came fromJohn Wayne and Hollywood . It seemed the only things that mattered were Barbed wire and six shooters . I've kept pigs but been a cropping farmer all my life in the Uk . It's so good to see a real day on the Ranch . I notice parcel dilivery is the same the world over !!!!! Regards David
I am 64 yrs old just seen your first video on u - tube where the cow limbing caught it on the gate in the corral sense I been seeing every video love I'm a Texan by heart own a small jubilee with rotory cutter that it comes to ranching I really like to learn more you are giving lessons here Thank You LIVE IN WYOMING
Such blessed children! Y’all are truly the American dream family and being blessed with grandmother time will feed her and your kids, and her soul for a lifetime. What an amazing set up for all the animals! I’ve never heard of “caking”. I’ll check that out. Thank you for putting this out there.
Your videos are fantastic, and you’ve inspired my boyfriend and me to finally begin working towards our dream of starting our own cattle ranch in the years coming!
Mike - your videos keep getting better and better. Love the editing and different perspectives and angles. It makes the viewer feel more immersed in the action. Thank you for showing us a day of your life from start to finish. Keep them coming!
Enjoyed as I’ve ranched all my life until health problems made me stop. It is a wonderful life and I loved it especially sale day for the yearlings or the fats. May Jesus bless your operation and family.
I live in a mix of rural and suburban area. One house I drive past regularly has a cattle cake storage bin lying on its side unused, rusting away. I think about it every time I see you loading up your feeder. I admire the work you and your family do, even though I’m pretty sure it’s not a lifestyle for me.
That would be nice, we have looked into them but they are quite expensive, plus you have to do the concrete pad and all that too. Hopefully someday. Thanks Jesse - Mike
Great video. I agree that life is mostly the sum of little moments. Thank you for posting these videos for all of us who silently wish we could live the life of a Wyoming rancher. God bless.
Great video, thank you for taking us along through your day. It's nice to get on here and escape life for a bit watching your videos. Being a farmer/rancher has been something I have always wanted to do. I had a plan of moving to Montana several years ago, but life happens and that all changed. I know it's hard work every day but it's much more rewarding than punching a time clock every day and not having anything to show for it after. I envy the lifestyle and I respect it as well. Thank you again for what you and your family do.
Hi Mike, I'm going back to see what preceded my discovery of your great channel. I love the pacing, the excellent photography and the authentic content. Thanks. - Dean from Minnesota
Amazed how your operation parallels ours. We just had a delivery of some components of our 2nd to be greenhouse. Our delivery driver refused to come out to our place and we had to meet him on the highway. Oh well, all was intact. We are surprised that you don't have your feed delivered bulk by the ton. Way cheaper than by the bag and if you can get a hopper is more easier to handle when distributing. You are right, every day is different but the same. Makes for an interesting life.
There is no doubt you stay busy, thanks for taking us along. My day usually starts and ends like the unexpected truck unloading..I just learn to grit my teeth and be quiet lol
Think it great that people putting a spotlight back on Farming and ranching it's not as easy as it looks I grew up on my dad's farm racing quarter horses and Cattle working for dairy farms driving truck it's all hard life I think people have the wrong impression of it it's a labor of love
Oh my god , there is a lot of work , around the farm . most people don’t know how much work , a farmer have to go , to got the job done ; thanks for sharing , I always enjoy your videos . god bless you and all your family
Wow, you're definitely at it from the minute you get up - early - to the minute you go down. It's more of a lifestyle than a job! Thanks for the great, informative videos.
Oh, i love knowing calves are dropping (or in west Texas ....not only calves, but lambing and kidding season, too)!!! Catch a few winks when you can, Mike! No rest for the weary, weary rancher during this season of new life! May you have a bumper crop of healthy cow/calf pairs this Spring!!!
Nice video.. I was raised on a ranch and can appreciate the work involved in a cold climate... lots of work to make a video like this too .. I know moving cameras working with audio and editing .. good work
Like a true shift worker. Look at your wife while telling everyone the date with a question mark at the end. Great videos. Gives me some insight to my farming friends. Cheers from Alberta, Canada
Good evening... Victor Hugo Visconti (Facebook) from Venezuela I am a Veterinarian Surgeon & Rancher. We breed Spanish Fighting Bulls. We run a 4000 hectare Ranch and 1000 head stock... 350 Spanish JUAN Pedro Domecq Breed & the rest Brahmas. I gotta tell you that your comment on our way of life is true... Ranching is a philosophy & we tend not to add up costs for the sakes of our herds... Always pitching money from other incomes to keep the ranch going, hoping next year is gonna be the year!...We have an old Venezuela saying “ Ranchers live Poor & die Rich... that is leaving all behind when we depart... Therefore is critical to have a new generation learning and living the life... You said it right... this is a passion... a way of life! You have an awesome family & are doing a great job showing people what’s all about... Congrats Saludos / Regards Víctor
Thank you for the insightful look into your life on the ranch. I have always wanted to work on a ranch, and live the cowboy lifestyle. Maybe someday you will let those of us who are in love with wanting to live in Wyoming know what it is like to do so. Thanks again.
We do the same thing and it’s amazing how everything you do is different then I do and every thing I do is different then you I love watching your videos
Its good to see how you manage to keep it all together! I bet yall ,(and your cows) are ready for spring.I know my cows are sure looking forward to spring! I bet winter feed is really boring for them, compared to summer grazing! Keep the good stuff coming yall!
It seems like once we have a few blades of green grass out there they start to go nuts. They will leave a whole bale of hay to go eat 3 blades of grass. We are all ready for spring. Thanks Chris - Mike
5:30 a.m.? Sleeping in? I would get up at 2:30 a.m., my homeschooling wife already fixing me coffee and breakfast! Her mother grew up on a dairy farm in Maine. My mom grew up on farms in corn country in Illinois! All during the Great Depression. Some of the hardest work, and very dangerous, is farming and ranching. My hat is off to you. I took the easy life: 73 to 97 miles away in a DC area fire station as a firefighter/paramedic for a 24-hour shift every third day.
you don't have to respond, I see how busy you are, boy do you work hard, thanks for sharing ( I farm too, only 2 horses and 3 dogs and I am beat phew) but you work hard and I really appreciate your video I learned a lot fun to watch , I appreciate all farmers and the good food we get to eat , thank you!
Thanks a lot for these videos brother. I will never be able to experience your amazing life as a rancher bit atleast I can hangout with you well you work your ads off to support your love ones. Have a good man buddy.
I guess nobody ever asks you how you stay in shape eh? Ha...quite a schedule to keep and I admire the focus and dedication to everything and everyone. I replied to one of your fans in the Ukraine...its cool that you have a global following. Watching all of that work made me tired and hungry...so its off to rustle up some dinner. Terry - Justin TX
Well I'm some kind of shape lol. I saw that you messaged that guy, it is very cool The reach of our community astounds me sometimes. Thanks Terry - Mike
WOW how beautiful and meaningful! And what a sincere and charismatic cowboy and beautiful family Huge contrast from the plastic city paper chase of our big city lives
Wow Mike! Thanks for sharing your daily life on the ranch for us. Its slightly different to my daily life anyway, I bet you were happy that Erin wasn't there when those damaged boxes fell off the back off the truck!!!😲 I would of demanded a discount for your tunnel due to damage box's whilst in transit plus you have the evidence to prove it!😁. Great video Mike thanks for sharing 👍
thank you for sharing your day with us I reside in los angeles and work in front of a computer all day in my office .. i have always dreamed of purchasing a ranch and one day running away from this traffic and stressful life i rather work a see nature than my city life i was born in the wrong life..... environment. i would love to be you ....enjoying ranch life and family lucky man.. thanks i get paid very well but probably die early life of stress and not get the opportunity to enjoy life... city life sucks...
Nice thin blue line shirt, man I'm new to your channel and I am an up and coming beef cattle rancher. I love your channel and keep up the great videos and hard work.
Thanks for your videos ! I am really enjoying them!!! I was born and raised in Wisconsin. Grew up on a dairy farm here. I am currently managing a business but really miss the outdoor life. My husband is in college but im thinking about changing my career. Id like to try ranching .Of course he would always help me a bit im sure . So right now im just researching and watching lots of videos about it . Trying to see if its really something ill love as much as i think i would. I would love to give all our kids a life kind of like i had growing up also. Once again thanks for all the videos !

And what a sincere and charismatic cowboy and beautiful family
Huge contrast from the plastic city paper chase of our big city lives

I'm new to your channel and I am an up and coming beef cattle rancher. I love your channel and keep up the great videos and hard work.
Enjoy your channel from the jungle, Atlanta GA. I'm a heating and air conditioning serviceman. I look forward to trying your beef jerky
