The only books of Neil Gaiman I've read (listened to via audio book) is his children's book "The Graveyard book", "Never where" and "Stardust". I'm not so fond of "Never where" and "Stardust", but I really enjoyed "The Graveyard book".
Thank you for sharing that piece from the Silmarillion about how death is a gift. It just makes you look at life differently. Hope you have a blessed day and week.
    Happy reading friend :)

I’ve been loving your channel! I’m a homeschool mom educating my children classically and have just thoroughly enjoyed watching your beautiful bookish life and listening to your thoughts on some of the literature that I also love! Abolition of Man is an annual reread for me and one of the best books on education in my opinion. You have also sold me on diving into the Silmarillion and I’m excited to hear how you did on your essay!

This is a very interesting video!
It is so nice to be in your atmosphere.
You don't just create a beautiful mood, you create motivation for further reading.
I have already read two books by Lewis, then I quickly re-read the book "The Cat Who Saved Books" by Sosuku Natsukawa and already wanted to start reading Shakespeare's "Hamlet" today, but today a priest I know gave me more books by Lewis to read: "Abominable Power", "Great divorce", and also GAVE me Lewis' book "Reflections on the Psalms" with a gift inscription!
Well, I have a lot of books to read, but I'm not giving up on my intention to read Shakespeare's Hamlet and King Lear before Christmas :)
And I want to read purely Christmas books :)
Thanks again for your wonderful, enjoyable and very motivating video!
We have air alarms every day, today too, but I still try to read.

Wow, that's quite the Christmas book haul! Sounds like you've got some great reads ahead. I'd also love to get into some more Shakespeare this Christmas season! 🎄 ✨️ Blessings.

I bet you are a wonderful teacher! I loved The Abolition of Man as a homeschool mom and I think you’ll really enjoy it as an educator. I’ve also been wanting to read Rembrandt is in the Wind. I want to read a Russian novel this winter but can’t decide between Anna Karenina or The Brothers Karamazov. Do you recommend one over the other? I love all of the books and ideas in your videos 😄

Thanks for this kind message! Ach I love both of those books so much. Brothers Karamazov is dearest to my heart because of its religious and philosophical themes, but Anna Karenina arguably has a more exciting storyline and might be easier to get into if it's your first time tackling one of the massive Russian classics. Hope that helps!

It does, thank you! I definitely want to read both but will dip my toe in with Anna Karenina first 🙌🏼

May I ask what the Strand Bookstore item was? Is it a catalog or a book about the store? Thanks!

It's actually just a lined notebook that I picked up at Strand this summer because I loved the black-and-white sketched look!
