Trini here. Very happy that you enjoy our cuisines. Bake and Shark is usually a 10/10 so what you gotta do customize your bake and shark order. Add the right amount of veggies WITH pineapples, and try a lil bit of ALL the sauces. Yuh cyar go wrong! As for the chow, if that's your reaction for the pineapple chow, the mango chow will drive you crazy😂😂😂 much blessings to you Sir. One Caribbean, One People.🇹🇹🇯🇲🇹🇹🇯🇲
Watching you makes me hungry!!! My parents are Trini and let me tell you my cousins are the chow queens. As a kid I had mango chow, plum chow, anything you name it was CHOW 😂😂😂. You are amazing, keep up the great work!!!!
I love that they gave you a t-shirt. I always wondered how shark taste because I know trini luv shark. They have the best roti, trini biggup ya self. I love fritters, its been too long since I had one. There is a Ital Rasta in the hills of Jamaica that make callaloo soup. Creative cooking I love.
Im happy you enjoyed some trini food. My mom is from🇹🇹 and my dad is from 🇧🇧. I hope you try foods from other Caribbean countries soon. This video was great. #onelove #onecaribbean
Good review. I order though Uber Eats after watching your review. I got the bbq pig tail and the breadfruit chips. They were good but I must admit a bit salty.
No such thing as Trini callaloo soup, callaloo is eaten on rice, or with root vegetables eg yam, dasheen aka taro, cassava etc, or with coo-coo a cornmeal dish somewhat like polenta.........but it's never consumed like a soup or called a soup
Nope, every Caribbean country has some unique cultures and things and some similar things like rice and beans, plantains etc. Just like African countries got their own spin on certain foods.
it has a thick soupy texture but it's eaten with rice, or boiled provisions (yam, dasheen aka taro root, cassava, eddo, green bananas, breadfruit etc) or with macaroni pie, or with cornmeal coo-coo a dish somewhat like polenta, but never consumed by itself like a soup. It's made with dasheen aka callaloo aka taro leaves, pumpkin, okra, aromatics, coconut milk, with salted beef or pork, crabs, or oxtail added.

Really?! There’s a Caribbean chain restaurant here in NYC that serves Shark burgers. I thought this was a normal cuisine in the West Indies.
