I was lucky enough to see Terry Riley on piano in Cardiff sometime in the 80's. Utterly wonderful. My ears had been opened to his music in the late 60's with "Rainbow in Curved Air" which changed my whole appreciation and understanding of music. I believe John Peel played it on his radio show on BBC Radio 1 (long time ago so memory might be faulty). To be able to see him on RUclips perform this with his son, both making beautiful intertwined music, is a rare gift. Many thanks to the poster and to all others who post amazing material onto RUclips. Life is good again.
When I first moved to San Francisco I was walking down the street and saw a flyer for a Terry Riley concert and I knew I had made a good choice. Saw him there several times and in West Berlin. Always an incredible experience.
Discovering Tracy Silverman is a joy. As a struggling Electric Violinist myself I find him inspirational. I've yet to get to Terry's set, but he's such a great Musician I know it's going to be great. Thanks for sharing. 🎻🎹🌈🎸🎶🕉🖖

John Peel did indeed play it. It was in his Saturday afternoon show sometime in 1971.
