God’s purposes for marriage Another reason God hates divorce is because it tears at the very heart of God’s redemptive plan for the world. It is interesting to note the conversation between Jesus and the Pharisees in Matthew 19:3-9. When the Pharisees ask, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason at all?” Jesus answers by pointing them to God’s purposes for marriage: And He answered and said, “Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.”🙏❤️🙏
This is so good dominic! I loved the analogy of the spiritual intensive care 👏 I have been in intensive care for 4 years now and the Holy Spirit has completely changed me. My prodigal wife is continuing in spiritual intensive care, even though she doesn't know it. The Holy Spirit is also working in her. I have stepped back from trying to work things and have left it completely in God's hands 🙏
Your content has been amazing and helpful! However, with all the commercials (there are 8 in this video) there are too many interruptions making it difficult to fallow and fully dive into.
Many of these single mothers will not recover from divorce. Child support (if they get it) will expire, they have no retirement, lots of debt, and today's man does not to marry a single mom who either had kids with a dead beat/bad boy, or have alienated a good father. These women will need Universal Basic Income.
I tend to agree with this. It defies logic and reason for a man to seek something less than ideal for himself. The ideal woman is single and basically a clean slate. An ex boyfriend is expected and easy to deal with. They are history and there is no continuing connection in the form of children or a covenant. The covenant is unbreakable because it is of God. Therefore, I agree with your statement. I know for a fact that I have zero desire for a divorced woman with kids. The first question that comes to mind for me is ' why did you get divorced?' Then I ask myself 'Why would I want some other dude's kids to deal with?' And 'who divorced who?' And on and on and on. And the biggest thing for me is how she talks about and treated or continues to treat her former spouse. The way she treats him is exactly how you will be treated when she decides your head is on the chopping block.
