If Hilary Hahn uses two JB Vuillaume violins one can be well assured of their quality. She could get someone to trust her a violin from a collector somewhere but chooses to use the Vuillaume. To me that speaks for itself.

I like the sound of the first one WOW .. and yes I like to hear them open strings just like guitars, but most people I think do not. I see guitar reviews and unfortunately alot of people are just showing off their playing skills it seems and not the instrument. Enjoyed your video very interesting information. Thank you
I have a Vuillaume a Paris violin which has been a treasured life companion, though I can barely play. It has an ugly old crack but sounds perfect to me. It’s been judged to be a low-end product from the factory but that is good enough for me!
You lucky fella. I could only hope for something so wonderful. The violins I have are nice 19th-century German violins but a Vuillaume ?? What can one say but WOW.
Wow, the sound of the G string on those violins are incredible!
I have 7/8 size JTL "copie de" made about 1900 (no label in) for 2500€ and I love it. I´m adult player whit small hands.
Very interesting comments!
Thankx for the info . I would love to play a JBVuillaume one day , it's just a dream lol 😂

Is there a modern violin maker who makes a vuillaume copy and is able to get that same ringy sound
My violin by Gonzalo Bayalo of Spain is very similar......

I would be interested in how the label appears inside each of these instruments. I have a French violin and am interested in its origin.
Labels come and go! They often mean nothing!
Wonderful honest review.Thank you !!!!!
