So that extra axle is called a lift axle. In that position it is considered a pusher. If it was behind the tandem it would be a tag. They can be used to help navigate soft terrain but more commonly they are used to reduce weight on driven axles. There is much more that could be said but that's the basics of it.
@Brad makes videos scrapman made a video where he looked at ikea instructions and built every part one by one and welded them ruclips.net/video/N7yYIxbXhqY/видео.html & ruclips.net/video/MxSmpbIkjfk/видео.html
I love how he added the little details, like the piece on top of the cab that would be used for steering on the actual set, and the moving bar for the lift axle. I only wish I could get this set IRL! I would also for this to become a series!
love it. to add some real life realism you should move the buttons that control everything to the back near the hooks so you can access them from the seat or from just clicking on them from the back. Most work trucks have control panels now-a-days in the back so the operator can operate the equipment without having to jump in and out of the truck all the time.
I love this! I hope this becomes a series! Here are a few different sets I have that offer a good variety of builds. Exo Suit - 21109 Mobile Stunt Show - 31085 Fishing Boat - 60147
You could build the Arctic truck 42038 I always wanted to have that set as a kid but it was pretty expensive so i never got it Might try to build it myself if my pc can handle a creation of that complexity Its a shame Scrap mechanic isnt optimized enough for larger more complex cretion
Wow, that is such a cool build & interesting idea! Might have to try this! Would love to see a series of this, & possibly a build guide for each one maybe? Here are two sets I own that I have yet to start, Would be cool to see you try these! Ferrari 488 GTE - Technic set 42125 Millennium Falcon - Technic set 75257
I have some lego technic ideas Big boys 1: Mack anthem 42078 1b: garbadgetruck 42078 2: crane truck 8258 3: off road car 8297 4: car transporter 43098 5: race ferrari 42125 6: xtreme offroader 42099 Medium gang 1: jeep wrangler 42122 2: mclaren senna 42123 3: Ducati pangale 42207 4: rc stuntracer 42095 5: corvette zr1 42093 6: bmw motorrad 42063 6b: flying thing (idk the real name) 42063 7: forklift 8071 7b: people lift car 8071 Smal boys 1: rescue hovercraft 42120 2: stunt helicopter 42057 And just wanna say thank you for the vids and keep up the good work ( btw im a big lego fan )
i invested 800 hours into scrap mechanic and feel like a 3 year old at its first lego experience when i see your builds . why are you soo goood at this game ffs xD awesome job
Fantastic! Very well done! I used to replicate lego sets in minecraft and scrap mecanic too! There's so much fun to have with these games. Especially SM!
The real reason for the third axel is because each axel has a maximum weight legally so if they drop that axel it takes weight off the other to so they don’t get fined
Dude! WOW! For a Pilot episode of a new series, you nailed it right from the beginning! (Small idea: it might be interesting if you could do a timelaps of your builds. Like the Speed-builds Lego channels do. :D ) Can't wait to see what other sets you're going to build! Also, my favorite Technics set: Mercedes Unimog U400 (#8110)
Actually the third axel is because you have to have a certain amount of axels per ton and without the third axel the mileage is better so they deploy it when towing something heavy.
I'd like to see the lego Ultra Agents semi truck set. I forget the set code, but it was a huge set with a lot of cool features! I'd be amazing to see it built in scrap mechanic! I have the set, and have the trailer a custom interior. Super versatile to modify.
Funny enough, I built this truck in a different game (Brick Rigs) about a month ago. I see that I'm missing some functionality now, you've definitely played the trump card on me lol Awesome build though, love to see more!
Hi Moonbo watching this video makes me want to make a scrap mechanic century 1150 rotator. I hope you had fun making that truck and the video have a nice day and keep up the great work!
If it is LEGO technic, it should have all functions or more as original model, try: Legendary 8043, full RC excavator Or 42009 MK2 Mobile Crane If you dare to make some tracked vehicles, try 42042
Top notch stuff man, love these videos as always, this new series is very clever and unique, great stuff, hope you’re doing ok! Your C# stuff was looking real cool :)

I love LEGO Technic sets! Imagine someone making a to scale version of the bucket-wheel excavator!!!
Say goodbye to framerates unless you’ve got the processing power of the ISS 😂
@@PhantomRattlebones Yep, rip graphics card…
Yep, thats gonna re-invent lag
I have it.
@@whyme224 I have it too 👍
Imagine just getting the instructions for a lego set and nothing else. Making all the parts separately on the lift and welding them together.
Reminds Me Of Scrapman's IKEA Series.
@Brad makes videos That you obviously haven't watched ScranMan's series...
I'd ill advise it when i started my bucket wheel excavator it broke my game so bad after the first 10 pages
@Brad makes videos scrapman made a video where he looked at ikea instructions and built every part one by one and welded them ruclips.net/video/N7yYIxbXhqY/видео.html & ruclips.net/video/MxSmpbIkjfk/видео.html
I love Lego! (my whole channel is about Lego!) If you do make this a series I’d be really happy 😊
Once again, you're blowing my mind with the originality of your scrap mechanic content. Keep it up!
Try the speed champions Ford raptor+model A number 75875. Sadly it’s a retired set but the raptors suspension is certainly an interesting setup
Ngl speed champions sets are pretty awesome
I love how he added the little details, like the piece on top of the cab that would be used for steering on the actual set, and the moving bar for the lift axle. I only wish I could get this set IRL! I would also for this to become a series!
I bought this set not too long ago. They definitely put a lot of thought into it. Worth every penny.

Lego 10195 Republic Dropship with AT-OT could be funny

That was an amazing build. Accurate to the Legos as well as a real life rig. I'm very impressed
You could build the Arctic truck 42038
I always wanted to have that set as a kid but it was pretty expensive so i never got it
Might try to build it myself if my pc can handle a creation of that complexity

Epic Video. Try lego speed champions Koenigsegg Jesko.

Outstanding job Moonbo!
Stumbled upon this tonight and I now love you.
Incredible build yet again
Make a town with all the Lego scrap mechanic builds you make
You have to do at least one Starwars set.
i invested 800 hours into scrap mechanic and feel like a 3 year old at its first lego experience when i see your builds . why are you soo goood at this game ffs xD awesome job

Fantastic! Very well done! I used to replicate lego sets in minecraft and scrap mecanic too! There's so much fun to have with these games. Especially SM!
The Lego New Defender set would be cool to see
The real reason for the third axel is because each axel has a maximum weight legally so if they drop that axel it takes weight off the other to so they don’t get fined
Its so cool
Dude! WOW!
For a Pilot episode of a new series, you nailed it right from the beginning!
(Small idea: it might be interesting if you could do a timelaps of your builds. Like the Speed-builds Lego channels do. :D )
Can't wait to see what other sets you're going to build!
Also, my favorite Technics set: Mercedes Unimog U400 (#8110)
For a Lego build idea, how about the Lego hidden side school bus
I'm curious of what other cool Lego builds you can remake in sm
For information the extra axle is called a “tag axle”
absolutly amazing!
Great Idea!
I hope somedays moonboo reach 1 million
Actually the third axel is because you have to have a certain amount of axels per ton and without the third axel the mileage is better so they deploy it when towing something heavy.
I would love to see you try to build a Lego Power Miners mostly the Crystal Sweeper but that line had so many cool sets.
I'd like to see the lego Ultra Agents semi truck set. I forget the set code, but it was a huge set with a lot of cool features! I'd be amazing to see it built in scrap mechanic! I have the set, and have the trailer a custom interior. Super versatile to modify.
lol the heavy duty tow truck was what i wanted for my birthday like 5 days ago
I don’t necessarily care about the scale but I would love to see the Republic Gunship from Star Wars!
The space station rollercoaster
For your next video ^-^
You should build a Lego technic dragster 42103
What an insane build. Its a shame that SM isnt optimized for builds like this.
maybe some model from classic space series ? i would love 6926 or 6928
wow, I can't belive how amazing your builds are!
I love your creations
VERY Cool
That was stupid good
Funny enough, I built this truck in a different game (Brick Rigs) about a month ago.
I see that I'm missing some functionality now, you've definitely played the trump card on me lol

This is great.
Hi Moonbo watching this video makes me want to make a scrap mechanic century 1150 rotator.
I hope you had fun making that truck and the video have a nice day and keep up the great work!
You should do the one where they put all of the Bionicals together into one 10 story monster 🤣
Maybe the Creator porsche (10295), i think it could be cool
build a star wars set i have millions and could give you images to reference
You should do 6x6 Volvo Articulated Hauler 42114
If it is LEGO technic, it should have all functions or more as original model, try:
Legendary 8043, full RC excavator
Or 42009 MK2 Mobile Crane
If you dare to make some tracked vehicles, try 42042
Hey man! I have a suggestion! LEGO 10283 would be an AMAZING one to build! :D :D :D
The lego forklift is a good creation you can try building it

I miss moonbos building streams D:
Please make the lego technic Land Rover Defender 42110🙏🙏
do the big police station one ;)
1:39 the lego set 42128 doesn´t even have a suspension originally :D
You should do the LEGO technic Mack Anthem

You should do 42114 technic Volvo articulated hauler that is my favorite set of all time and tried to build in scrap mechanic but could not really do
I got the lego set in the thumb nail yesterday but I am not done yet
you could try a Camper Van 60283
It would be fun to try follow a lego manual in scrap mechanic.
Try to recreate one of the lego trains, perhaps 60052?
Lego Technic is the best!
Pls do the Lego 4x4 Mercedes-Benz Zetros Trial Truck (42129)
You could use the end part that says how many of what piece is there to get the pieces then just put them together just like in the lego sets
LEGO technic 42098 car transporter and sports car! I love this set and it has some awesome features
