Turned a torturer into a serial torturer just because there's no aspirine in Mordor. Just a few more left of these. Most personalities I have left to show are interesting, and not as generic as most other special scars. Bit of a pain to get, though.
Interactions still help, but the chances of cheating death are abyssmally lower than in the early game. Even if you spend a whole day interacting with a captain, it's very likely he'll just die forever.
That's a huge shortsighting on Monoliths part. Unique stuff like ambushes and cheating death are the backbone of the nemesis system. Otherwise it becomes a dull repeating cycle of meet, shame, kill or brand.
Unrelated to the scar in this video but does anyone here think The Bitter personality spawns way too often? I have like 3 of them in just one fortress. It seems like an orc with any voice can become The Bitter
First time I got this one was against an orc with the Pit title, which seemed rather fitting. He suffered from just being in “the iron prison of Mordor” and wanted death and I ended up only making that suffering worse by messing up his skull, causing him constant agony. Then I shamed him to the point of derangement. Sometimes I really do wonder if the orcs are the only bad guys XD

Seems especially fitting given that he wanted to sue in battle to be free of the pit of Mordor, but instead of killing him, I only made his suffering worse by making him the Iron Skulled. I then shamed him into derangement. I was very sadistic that day

Talion: "Like this?" (Throws Iron Skull Uruk off a ledge) Iron Skull Uruk: "Another time, Ranger, if you last that long." half an hour later... Iron Skull Uruk: "Still alive! I'm still not dead! Do you only seek to tease me with death so that I continue to endure the pain in my skull? You're sick, and you deserve pain!" Talion: "Maybe if I throw him from a much higher place."
Don't forget that if you run into captains that outrank you in level you can catch up with them by doing vendetta and online siege missions and not fast forwarding time. this will let you gain experience to outpace or gain just the right level to recruit these scarred captains should the game give them a decisive advantage in level over you. the higher your in-game difficulty the greater the level difference and traits they will get usually.

Hey Uruk's Hollow is there a way to dramatically increase the chance of an orc cheating death in late game?
Strange looks like if someone stabs an uruk in the eye his head gets covered in metal and his eye has no damage only his head

I’ve seen almost everyone including myself get this guy with falling. I’ve never seen it done by generic attacks
