i think this is what EXO wants us to see. all of them together is just magic. the EXO storyline is quite complicated since it's not really well explained/elaborated & just mostly fans' assumptions, mostly theories. i've read in some that since they went to earth, they were seperated & are looking for each other. in here some of them found each other but it looks like they were hesitant to talk to each other because they know there's an apocalypse coming & maybe they're figuring out how to prevent it? don't quote me on this though! 😅 just saying what's on twitter. 😁

The filming location is all in Korea, and the place where the cliff was located in Jeju Island. i guess the stone thrown by the boy triggered them to gather again, which had been scattered for a long long time. this stone has super power to rewind the everything. so they can go back to the happy moment when they used to together...??!right that?? hhhh
No one can cover this song. It's impossible to sing like EXO. I honestly don't know what mainstream is cos I listen to my own playlists (full of EXO songs) but if a radio plays it and I'm not aware of EXO-I'll be blown away by it. EXO brings world peace. This song is so healing and calming. I listen to this song a few times every day-it de-stresses me. And such a lovely beautiful song to me is MY mainstream.
For this mv i think them being scattered is more of on purpose. When kai filmed this he didn't know that he'd enlist yet. Also the filmography choice reminds me a lot of what is love. Esp when they look at the sky, but in here theres no moon/eclipse to look at. I think they reverse time to bring back the moon/eclipse to be together as a group again. Cause that's how they were united in their debut era.

My, possibly biased, opinion is this video is a love story of sorts. (also, a bit queer coded.) To me, it seems like some of the members are 'coupled' like Xiumin and Chen. Chen is watching a movie and we see later that it's him and Xiumin in the film and Chen looks like he may be crying or at least really sad about what he is watching. Xiumin then enters the theater and sits on the stage in front of him as the credits of their relationship that has ended are rolling. Then it shows them sitting and watching their happy memories together as if nothing ever went wrong. We see things that are broken/destroyed by the meteor and objects falling from the sky, I see this as a metaphor for their worlds falling apart without their love beside them. Then we see time reversing, the world is repaired and healed as if nothing happened. I understand this to be all about heartbreak and letting love back into a broken heart, fixing the issues they once had so they can love again.
I really love this song and the video is creative. I'm going to be a little negative because I wonder why there was hardly any scenes with members together. Because I've always thought maybe they didn't like sharing or always liking each other. Maybe not. It does NOT take away from their talent or music. I absolutely love their songs and sound. But I find the way they filmed this interesting. This is only my opinion and something I noticed right away.
You know what's funny, I talked about this with a friend....how we as people get along with our co-workers and classmates to keep the peace and all, but that doesn't necessarily mean we like each other 😭😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I think anyone who has to share so much time with other people of varying personalities understands this. I honestly don't know what mainstream is cos I listen to my own playlists (full of EXO songs) but if a radio plays it and I'm not aware of EXO-I'll be blown away by it. EXO brings world peace. For this mv i think them being scattered is more of on purpose. When kai filmed this he didn't know that he'd enlist yet. Also the filmography choice reminds me a lot of what is love. Esp when they look at the sky, but in here theres no moon/eclipse to look at. I think they reverse time to bring back the moon/eclipse to be together as a group again. Cause that's how they were united in their debut era.

My, possibly biased, opinion is this video is a love story of sorts. (also, a bit queer coded.) To me, it seems like some of the members are 'coupled' like Xiumin and Chen. Chen is watching a movie and we see later that it's him and Xiumin in the film and Chen looks like he may be crying or at least really sad about what he is watching. Xiumin then enters the theater and sits on the stage in front of him as the credits of their relationship that has ended are rolling. Then it shows them sitting and watching their happy memories together as if nothing ever went wrong. We see things that are broken/destroyed by the meteor and objects falling from the sky, I see this as a metaphor for their worlds falling apart without their love beside them. Then we see time reversing, the world is repaired and healed as if nothing happened. I understand this to be all about heartbreak and letting love back into a broken heart, fixing the issues they once had so they can love again.

I really love this song and the video is creative. I'm going to be a little negative because I wonder why there was hardly any scenes with members together. Because I've always thought maybe they didn't like sharing or always liking each other. Maybe not. It does NOT take away from their talent or music. I absolutely love their songs and sound. But I find the way they filmed this interesting. This is only my opinion and something I noticed right away.
You know what's funny, I talked about this with a friend....how we as people get along with our co-workers and classmates to keep the peace and all, but that doesn't necessarily mean we like each other 😭😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I think anyone who has to share so much time with other people of varying personalities understands this. Not saying this is the case with EXO, but it's real life regardless lol 🤷🏻♂️
