The cardinal mistake of New Democracy is and was its deliberate backing and in fact allowance of German gradual penetration into Greek internal politics. In doing so New Democracy sided with the wrong geopolitical forces because as we speak there is a new axis of London-Paris in play that would marginalize Berlin and render it ineffective. For as long as ND supports Berlin spawned policies it becomes a de facto finished political party in Greece. Its only hope is to severely reform using the British conservative model and for that to happen only Mitsotakis has a long shot at achieving it. ND needs to atone for its compound mistakes and for leading Greece into the arms of a disgusting Berlin whose only aim is to increase German exports at the expense of all other Europeans. BTW, Germanotsoliades is not an apt term towards describing ND but effing German Stooges is a very accurate and descriptive term. :)
