- Hey there, many people out there face problems in merging facebook pages whether it's a business or personal page. I have also faced a lot of problem in merging my pages. After a lot of errors I have managed to merge my pages. So I made this video telling the mistakes I did firstly thus you guys don't fall for those errors.
Find your business manager account:

I got to the point of submitting my request for merging of pages but it didn't work. Having listened to you, I believe I know what my issue is now. Thank you very. I will try it again after 48 hours as I just changed one of the pages names.

My two pages is owned with one business access disame names but i can't still merge it..it keep telling me that one pages have pending merge that i need to wait ontil it closed 😢

And I've set the frame as 18:9 in post (While editing)

Hi brother. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I am relqly experiencing problems here. My page feedback says after i attempted to merge my two pages that " cant merge since to many attempts". Any idea how to resolve this ?

Seems like you've recently merged any of the page with other or you may got some restrictions.
Wait till the restriction gets withdrawn.
Hello, I've just watched this viedo which is very good for me but My pages are still failing to merge, I've changed each and everything to look the same but still it fails. One pages was sold to me by someone and i am now the only admn with full control and another one was created by myself but why are they not merging? Thanks
I think you've changed a lot of basic informations
Now I think you should wait for around a month
Keep the pages running
Keep posting as normal on both pages and then attempt to merge

I had a facebook profile that also had the page i am now trying to merge together as one
- I converted the profile to a page (using the professional mode method in facebook profile settings)
- i tried merging still having issues, have checked the links, description, banner, profile picture, links, social medias
i still had error, maybe theres something i am still missing
then i notice while trying to add that pages that was my facebook profile before, trying to add that to the business account manager, but i am getting this error (An unexpected error has occurred. Please retry your request later) while trying to add that page to the business account manager
Professional mode for profile isn't a typical Facebook page
It's still basically a Facebook profile
You can't have all the benefits of having an actual Facebook page

But in your page you can invite your friends to like/follow
@@IncredibleVictor is that because of the professional mode that's on or what is the reason it can't be. Professional mode can still be turned off

Hi, my main Facebook page has an ads restrictions. It was permanently restricted in making ads. Now I want to make a new fb page with the same name, my question is, will it affect the advertising in the new fb page i created If i merge it?
If you have restrictions you might not be able merge that page with any other
I have two pages with similar names and same location but during merging showing they are too far away and not merging
If they have same names try to change one to similar name but not the same.
Remember if you change any basic info you can't merge immediately.
Again if you have gained lot of followers within short period of time you will have to wait for about a month.

Both pages are public
You are admin of both pages
They all owned by same business manager account

As you have changed a lot of details about one of the page so you are restricted to merge the pages

You have to publish your page first.
Check in the page settings if your page is public or private.

please help i was merging my 2 pages,one is recently aqcuired.about 1-2 weeks i think an i jusut changed the infos recent, then when i tried merging a couple of times the reply was "merge request is rejected" can this still be solved.? please help.
If you have changed some basic info and gained lot of likes and follows suddenly and if admins were changed then you have restrictions

So I opened a page with my Facebook account and the page isn’t mine, and if I’m to access the page, I have to go through my my Facebook account. Now I opened new Facebook account in the persons name. Is it possible I transfer the page I already opened in my Facebook account to the persons account?

If you find any violation
Then it won't merge.
Get rid of the cause of violation and then wait for about an week then try to merge.

Then follow the steps shown in the video to add the other page in your business manager account

I think you have recently merged that page with other or you were trying to merge pages again and again.
Solution is, you have to wait.
Wait for some days, at least 2 weeks. Don't attempt for merging within this time.
After that you will try.

The fact is one page will be vanished
You will decide which page you wanna keep
After merging you will get a increased number of likes on the page you kept because the likes from the other pages are copied into that page.

I've heard that if both page have exact same name, they won't merge.
I don't know why.
But in case of my pages, one page was named Victor & the other Victor page.
So you can see one page had a extra term 'page'.
You can try adding some extra word in the name.

Check your email inbox associated with your facebook account. Facebook must sent you an email regarding it. (that email may appear in the update tab in Gmail)
In my video I have described some factors that will prohibit the process. Make sure your pages are not under those factors or restriction.

If you have watched the whole video you should have idea about the criteria s for merging Facebook pages.
Make sure you have same details in both pages.
Obviously don't try to merge instantly after changing any details.
If you have gained a lot of followers in any of the pages then you can't merge that page with any.
You have wait for about a month then you will try.

@@saifnayeemi7 before you wait for a month, make sure both pages have same basic info. Both pages under same business manager account. You are the admin of both pages and none of the pages have any restriction.
How to check restrictions ?
@@saifnayeemi7 go to your page on a computer. One the left menu you will find support inbox. If you find any message mentioning any violation then you have restriction.

I've been trying to merge two facebook pages without success and it's driving me crazy. No one seems to know what's wrong: both pages have the exact same name, same logo, same category, same address, same description. I have added them to my Facebook business manager and deleted from it again. I've tried everything but facebook keeps denying it. They reason they say it's because "they do not represent the same thing". Do you have any ideas? Help would be very appreciated
Both pages must be owned by same business manager account.
As far I know if both pages has exact same name then facebook says they represent different...
The pages I have merged
One was named "Victor Chakrabarty" another was "Victor Chakrabarty Page".
You can try changing name of one of your pages.
But please wait at least 48 hours after you make any changes to your page.
Again if you have gained a lot of likes/follows within a short period of time, then you are restricted from merging pages.
Restriction will be withdrawn within a month.
@@IncredibleVictor thank you for your quick answer! Ok look I'm gonna be very honest with you. We have one page which we created like 3 years ago and has only 400 likes. And the other one has 5,000 likes cause we bought it from a guy who use to post viral content like memes and stuff like that but that page was created in November 2020 (3 months ago). Of course when we purchased the page we deleted all the content first and we started to adjust the page little by little to our business which is a video production company. After 2 weeks we asked facebook to merge both pages but even if both pages have now the same content, Logo, information data and everything, it seems like they knew our "cheeting scenario", however the guys tells us that he's been doing this for a long time and he had never faced any problems with the merging process. So what do you think? Are you we gonna have to delete the first page with 400 likes, or do you think we're gonna be able to merge them in the near future? What do you suggest we could so? I think you will be able to merge your pages
You know there is a lot of changes on the page you bought
And facebook knows everything
The ownership has changed
So some page features are banned for you
But facebook will release these restrictions
Just wait for about a month
Don't try to merge or change basic info within this period.
Let the other page owned by same business manager account.

Take the cursor on the pin. You will find the hand icon is changing when you hover on the pin. Place the cursor right on the pin, then click and drag.
