Just bought one. Thank you for a nicely done to the point video, and yes, Thank you again for no blaring obnoxious music!!!!! You have won a subscriber.
You have a nice machine in my opinion, I just hope they made a better belt routing on the mower deck, not a fan of that. I’m glad it was helpful! Thank you for the kind comment! Please give this video a thumbs up to help the channel grow!
I just bought this mower and have used it twice now. It's very nice. Great quick and to the point review of the basic operation of this machine. Thanks!
Thank you for sharing! I am watching this a few times before I crank her up! I am glad to use her. She's a beauty and she will control my weed problem!
Thanks guy! Trying to mow my grandparents lawn and couldn’t figure out how to start the mower, didn’t realize they upgraded to one of these a few years ago.

I have the X320 (2010) and a snow blower/plow... I reckon this is the minimum model to take those heavy attachments.... Looks like it is updated for conveniences..such as a gasoline gauge... More stuff means more to go wrong of course... Seems the essential stuff is the same..
@@jonathanhughes5806 best I can tell you is the x350 is a little better quality... s240 May or not be more of the Box Store mower... when I bought mine a week or so back x350 was $3,000 plus tax with 4-year warranty 0% interest for one year. That's James River John Deere Highway 64. Good Guys honest guys so far as I can tell. I spoke with Josh and he was very helpful. Best of luck let me know what you chose! 👍
@@jonathanhughes5806 I use mine for a dump trailer and towing at this point... railroad ties... closest thing to a tractor and a mower I could find for the price I could afford. 👍
Enjoy! That is a nice machine. Make sure you pack the mower deck mandrels full of grease with a grease gun and try not to wash your machine. Only if necessary. Keep up with the maintenance and the machine should be there for you a very long time!!
I’ve had mine over a year the best riding mower I’ve owned. It really is the Cadillac of 42 or 48 inch mowers. Engine is very very quiet. Smoothness heavy duty. I can’t recommend it enough. Sold only at John Deere dealers not sold at Lowe’s or home depot. Traction is excellent. Little more money than the e series, but get it you won’t regret it
Johnny Davis question- I change my deck height several times while mowing my . It’s easy to do with the pull handle lever...how about the X series...is it hard to do? Do you have to stop or can you do it on the fly?
Very simple It works just a spring loaded foot pedal on the left side reach down and turn the dial to the desired deck height. Forward reverse and brake are all on right side. When I’m going over spots where I think the blade may scrub I just press the deck pedal and raise it up till I’m over the trouble spot then let it back to the pre chosen height. I’m very picky and hard to please and it just works excellently. Lots of engineering went into the design.
Kawasaki!! Steering! All your deck hardware no comparison, transmission, warranty, electric pto... other then that about the same!! Also built at different plants, hint hint...stronger frame!
What do you guys think about the X390? Is it worth the price difference? I have a very large yard with a couple decent size hills. Would you put HDAP tires on that K58?

Good to consider, about starting the blades at 3/4 vs higher because of the torque involved.
Thank you so much! It's a marriage saver! 😊

I own the X350r but my full gauge never worked since I've purchased it new 3 years ago. Only shows me when I'm on reserve
Nice job. Thank you. I just bought a brand new one today in Burlington, NC. Great info.
Buying one for myself down in Asheboro tomorrow! Lot of good reviews from everything I've read and seen.
@@bonesc7201 I'm trying to decide between the X350 and the S240. Hope to buy this month from Asheboro as well.

If you dont push the reverse button with the pto on does it turn off the engine or just the pto?
When you want to go into reverse the engine or the PTO and the engine will shut off depending on the model of the machine.
On my X350 just the PTO shuts off.
Is it much better than the E series? Thanks
Good question. I'm wondering the same thing, most info I can come up with is a solid frame and beefed up transmission. Also more warranty.

Needs a briggs engine lol
Too much combination better to buy something european easier to operate
