Thank youuu. For a sporty car the digital speedometer gadge should be separate from intotainment. Not some big clock of cheese long screen. Leave that for auv coupes and none sporty sedans

God that music sucks. I find myself hunting for the exhaust clip so I can unmute my speakers. And 27psi in them tires! Add that to the balls out launch pre-breakin, I'm sad. Such an awesome car though.

It's a shame. the 2023 M8 has so much going for it....exterior looks, intioer amenities and good performance for a GT car. But what kills it for me...or takes if off mY short-list of "dream cars I'd buy if i could"...is the ANNOYING "THUMP" sound you hear everytime this car shifts....I'd never last 5 mintues driving this car.....vrrrrrRRRR THUMP vrrrRRRRUM THUMP THUMP....

I’m glad they did not drop the new iDrive curved screen crap in this one. I also have a GLE coupe and Mercedes does the dual screen much better.
How come you don’t like the curved monitor? What are some cons about it
It certainly comes down to personal preference. I just think it looks gimmicky. As I mentioned I have a GLE 53 coupe and the way Mercedes implements it, it’s very cohesive with the rest of the car. It’s just not to my taste, but to each their own. I take delivery of my M8 in January.
It's coming, this is the last year they've used an older design, just like m5
100% inevitable; however, I’m glad mine is coming without it. It looks fine on an X7, but I don’t like the look of it on a sporty car like the M8.

Great presentation. BMW nailed the exterior design compared with recent M2 and M3/4 front fascias. Interior is nice but not groundbreaking. I really don't like these split tachometers that are common in newer cars. It doesn't make sense to split them left/right. $5,000 for metallic grey paint is a little much, and then another $3,500 for leather... TBH I paid half the price for my '21 TT RS. Better interior, sounds better, and with a Stage 1 tune would likely hang with this M8 to 60.
Your TT is getting to 60 in less than 3 seconds???
Also, the classes are just plainly different.
I'm glad you got the car you want, but your post makes as much sense as someone getting a Civic, tuning it and then saying they're glad they got it for 1/xth of the price and it's almost as fast as an M car
No one is cross shopping a TT and an M8.
@@AchOwedI haven’t dino’d it. But if I were to guess it’d be right around 3 sec. 505hp and a TCU tune in a car that weighs under 3,300 lbs. it’s a different car.
@@AchOwedthe classes are not different. 2 door AWD German luxury coupes. Difference is BMW decided to bloat their cars into yachts and slap an M badge on every model. And if you think Audis are a kin to Civics you don’t know what you are talking about.

No one is cross shopping an Audi TT and an M5 or M8. I doubt someone looking for an M3/4 would cross shop that combination.
My point regarding the Civic is that anyone can make their car faster, but just because they now have a faster car does not mean they have a better bargin than the person who bought the luxury car that is as fast.
If you think that a buyer for the M8 Comp is saying "I just want any two door AWD drive car from Germany, so also show me your fastest C Class Mercedes, the RS 3 or an M2", you are very mistaken.
