Record yourself doing this challenge, upload it to your RUclips channel then email me the link, make sure it's public (www.motojitsu.com/contact) and I'll post it up to the Community section of my channel so we can all see :) The video should just be of you doing the drill, nothing else.
@@felipe.gtz.b Yeah, Marc Marquez rides a lot in traffic and has to make tight U turns in tight spaces. FYI Motorcycling is a very complex sport/technology, get enough education about riding and you'll thank yourself later.
@@felipe.gtz.b Read Total Control chapter 13 by Lee Parks and Motorcycle Roadcraft chapter 6. Feel free to read the entire books. Like I said motorcycling is a complex sport. Good riders master control of their bikes at all speeds (high and low). Riding properly requires skill which comes through proper training and intentional consistent practice.
Very humbling and inspiring to see an instructor not edit out the failed attempts! Makes all the lesser belts worry less about sucking! Haha "Just go out and practice and get better"🔥 Semper Fi, Devil!!
15-20sec was a good pause. Nice to see the missed attempts. Going to ride later I should find a parking lot. I don't have the cones or the stopwatch maybe you could do the stop watching post it would be use your own imaginations on the circle.
Then use rocks or something else...it's not hard to do and it's easy to set up your phone leaning up against a bottle or something to record you doing it, then just crop the video on the ends. instagram.com/motojitsuclub/
@@stinkspirit585 I already went out riding and recorded. See what happens when I edit. Trying to put a stopwatch in there if I can. I used 6 parking spots

Good job Greg!! I really struggle with slow speed on my beast 1200 Super Tenere. OTHO, I do pretty good on my Dirt bikes with a soft Mousse and low pressure rear tire.
Did this almost fell twice. Glad im not MR Twink legs. Its hard man! Dont have a license yet and not good cam equipment but have my own driveway to practise 8s and u turns and slow turns counter steering etc. So nice :) Thanks for your stuf!
Bro, just 2 questions… You always have to look where the exit is,right?? Like, not looking down the ground.. And 2- It’s needed to kept the RPM a lil bit higher for the friction zone?? (Using the clutch in and out obviously)
As a challenge can you do the same thing on a large auto scooter (say a Burgman 650cc) which has no clutch? Love to watch you try and inform us your solution. I ride Kymco AK550 (like a Yammy T Max).
Cool video buddy, now go out in the twisties and burn the huge chicken strips you just made on those tires!Or just sell me your bike!🤣Have a good one man!👊✌
started riding a few months ago, and realized my slow speed u-turns are awful, my turning radius is always too big. Ive been scrolling through your drills, but I'm worried to drop my bike. any suggestions?
I've been riding only a few months too, I practice slow speed o turns, u turns, figure 8s etc, practicing getting the turning circle tighter and tighter. I'm significantly better, full handle bar lock no problem, lean a little etc. If you practice that once a week like I do, you won't recognize yourself in 3 more months. Obviously the more you practice the better. Just got to get the reps in

Brilliant idea 💡 👏🏻
"Slow speed drills are pointless" said no rider ever who actually practices them.
EXACTLY!!

Yes, because Marc Marquez got that good by going in circles at parking lots .

In place of cones, I bought a dozen very cheap tennis balls and cut each one in half.....!

It’s 11pm and I’ve found my daily challenge for tonight thank you
:) I'll keep practicing this too

This stuff is ALWAYS useful. And fun. Practice anywhere.
👍🏼
Now that's the stuff!!! It's hard enough doing slow speed drills with both tires facing forward but now with the front turned it's simply awesome.
Very impressive, going super slow is darn difficult and if you try too hard to save it it's easy to drop the bike.
👍🏼
If I may offer a tip. Do not look down. Stare far into the distance in the direction you want to turn in or straight ahead.
It helps
Doesn't help me...for me doing this, looking down is way better
What a great challenge. Well explained too..
Go do it!!!!
