Two weeks back they had the best game in recent time where steve was investigator and hafu was politician. I am still waiting for that game to be uploaded here
bait, there’s only 2 kinds of people in this world. People who think Jester & Exe should be sheriff-able and people who don’t. Which side are you on here, pal? 😂 can you imagine justice against annoying jesters or obvious trolling exes? Lmao
@@FCKfearwell the Sheriff should only be able to kill roles with a “Kill Button” ie Neutral Killer and Impostors. This isn’t America - the Police should not be able to kill any unarmed people or players. How to counter Jester then? Well the impostors and Vigilante have abilities to assassinate them in game for being too obvious. Same with Exe.
It's hilarious how hardcore Steve is going on task stats. I was cracking up during DD's stream yesterday when a game ended abruptly and Steve shouted out something like "wait, Among Us Academy, my stats!!"
If 5up is reading these comments, I just want to say that -jokes aside- you're still GOATed, dude. It's okay to have an off day. To the other people, I know it's just an off day (or a couple, lol) because he still pulls off some crazy shit on his channel. Check it out! Anyways, have a merry Christmas everyone! :)
I swear when that happened, all I could picture was GIR on the floor shouting "YAY! YAY! YAY! YAY!" over and over again at an increasingly exasperated Zim.
Watching 5up play nowadays is like watching your favorite sports athlete near retirement. You know the skill they had in their prime, and it's a little sad watching them slow down and not being able to play like they used to
He's still very good, his skill is just now matched by the rest of the lobby so he looks much worse comparitively. But I agree, the old 5up videos were PEAK
No matter how washed 5up has become, he is still an integral part of the Morning Lobby and I'm appreciative of everything he adds to the group dynamic and all the content and entertainment he provides (both intentional and not)
12:45 5up and I at least both agree that COLOURED arrows for Aurial AND footsteps for Investigator are BOTH too powerful Especially when you see the original colour footsteps even when the following killers use their roles: Morphling, Swooper and Glitch
@@AmongUsAcademy I don't recall if it was this lobby or Toasts, but one of them used to play with a Mod where most active abilities had some form of charges. In order to get more charges (like seeing player colours on Admin screen which you could open everywhere), you had to finish tasks which would give you more uses/seconds of having that ability active. If you combine that with making those roles an active & temporary ability, it incentivises e.g. the Investigator to do tasks between trying to catch people kill/vent rather than just running around admin/vitals/popular venting spots constantly.
At the very least, the Investigator shouldn't see the original color when someone is morphed or glitched and shouldn't see footsteps at all when someone is swooped. And I do think they should lower the amount of time the footsteps linger, right now that role gets an INSANE amount of information.
I miss hafu and dk. Hafu brings a lot of logic to the lobby while dk brings a bunch of controlled chaos. And koji is just a wild card. He's gullible, doesnt push hard, and sounds sus all the time. But man, when koji locks in, he locks tf in.
I like how this game shows Steve playing well and 5up playing not so well. 😂 Even without the Investigator issue, he still would've been caught so it was just a bad play overall.
8:17 Shouldn’t 5up be accusing Antfrost though? His response to Smajor “I left you in specimen Ant” seemed super weak… yet 5up didn’t even softly push on Ant at all 🤔🤨
5up should have either not reported and then claimed he was somewhere else/never entered speci if the bodies get found, or he could have reported and claimed the bodies where somewhere else to get others sussed. Or he could have reported Skadj since he's the only one who can be placed in speci. Ant was going to be sussed no matter what, but 5up could have either escaped sus altogether or seemed clear, especially if he did push Ant, which I agree he should have. That said, it's easy to say all of this in hindsight, but in the moment when your partner flashes in speci and a Sheriff offs himself next to you, I can imaging one panics.
1:00 People still like the fact that someone like Gumi can hard clear 2 players with Medscan? - I still think they should trial parallel MedBay scans so the “Waiting for XXX” doesn’t show and makes it so you can’t hard clear off. Cause at the end of the game, we have 3 hard clears - makes it very hard for the killers! At 15:10 - 3 out of the 6 were mutually MedBay cleared!!! 😮
I think the balance is if they say aloud that they are medbay scanned, they become top priority target. If they don't reveal they are medbay scanned it makes it harder though.
Also remove Medic - because the shielded person can hard clear the Medic. Then remove Executioner - because the Exe can hard clear their target. Then remove Lovers - because the pair can hard clear one another. Then remove meetings - because if people talk they might establish clears.
@ well the difference is all those roles can only privately clear the other person. Eg someone Medic shielded you. That’s a One Way clear: they can’t clear you back and you wouldn’t publicly announce the other person was clear cause they’re the Medic. Whereas in this video you have 3 players who are 3-Way-Hard-Cleared - and it was public knowledge on final 6 that 3 of the players were med scan hard cleared. Completely different.
A witch curses you. You can never complain about one of the following again: A. Medscan clearing B. Vitals location C. Investigator/Auriel seeing colors You must choose which one. Which do you pick?
I like Hafu, but the lobby seems to be more loose and have a lil more fun when she’s not around. Again, not a shot a Hafu, but she can be too militant when it comes to this game.
Personally, I enjoy it more when hafu is around because they play at a higher level, trying to fool her. 5up has been playing very poorly without hafu to keep him in check and confront him during meetings before he throws
@@mrpopurtop9821 yea they all seem to play better when hafu is around. They all at least try harder because hafu will call things out that some people would let go
We can clearly see who’s your least favorite player thus far and it’s like really disrespectful. Like chill tf out cause he sure has been giving you content for a good minute regardless of how he plays.
lol what? 5ups great - and I’ve publicly and respectfully supported him for many things Eg Deafen wars, Aurial OP, Investigator needs nerfing etc He just had a bad week. Otherwise he’s still a solid player - both the eye test and stats back that up
he's just had a rough time as both imposter and crewmate recently (not just the past week) and the content reflects that. 5up is just confidently incorrect a lot of the time. it makes him come off as arrogant, so people don't let him live his mistakes down (and when i say people, i don't mean just the viewers - people in the morning lobby also give him a hard time). dumbdog in particular has been critical of him to chat which i feel has had an influence on the negativity recently. he also called 5up washed to his chat the day this lobby took place, which i think is what the title is referencing. without context, i can see how it comes off as hating on 5up, but among us academy definitely isn't the problem here and has actually been pretty generous in acknowledging when 5up had bad luck versus when he's made a bad play and giving credence to his deductions (even when they're wrong)
