He’s looked bad this year even in this game he nearly got picked off 3 times and got bailed out, missed Hyatt and nabers both for Deep passes multiple times, stepped into unnecessary hits and a sack, and just consistently missed both reads (specifically against the blitz he refuses to check to the hot read) and throws like the slant to Robinson or flat out missing a 5 yard toss to a wide open nabers or how about missing a 6 yard throw to Johnson for the easiest td ever I mean there were just too many misses. Yeah even though jones had a good game on the stat sheet he was still overthrowing passes, it took the wrs doing a lot of extra circus shit to save a lot of plays. With a real QB giants can have a top tier wr group with nabers, robinson, and hyatt. They all got complementing skills: robinson in the slot, hyatt opposite nabers, and nabers as a true number 1
@@blakeriley761any year you don’t have a franchise QB is a wasted year and the idea that you build the roster first and THEN get your franchise QB is ass-backwards and counter intuitive to basic football roster construction. You’re trying to add players who will end up being traded because the QB situation is ass and the good players don’t fit on the timeline. The big fear is jones holds the team back to the point to where we have to trade somebody like dexter lawrence and start over or waste his prime with a mid QB. Imagine if texans passed on stroud to draft a linebacker and kept rolling with davis mills, or if the niners tried to force trey lance to start, or if the jets kept trying to build around zach wilson. Not wanting to draft a qb because you think they’ll be bad while you have a qb who’s confirmed to be bad is just cowardice that locks the team into perpetual mediocrity

Don’t cut gray, just stop letting him return. He’s not good at it at all he can’t hold on tot he ball, he’s too slow, and he’s not great making people miss. He’s a nice backup rb who should play some special teams but under no circumstances should he return another anything this year
The first 11 seconds of this game with the fumble and Brown's TD was the GTA "aww shit, here we go again" meme. Cant believe the Giants came back and won it. Thank god for our defense.
Lets hope the giants dont repeat the same mistake by destroying another generational talented LSU receiver. Too many talented receivers came from LSU so I assumed he was gonna be a stud anway

Mike can you please break down Deontae Bank’s film? He did not look good at all today and he was up vs Amari Cooper (a decent receiver but not Jerry Rice). I wanna see what he is doing well and what he needs to do in order to improve. Great stuff Mike look forward to more!
You’re dragging it first of all cooper is still one of the most talented wrs in the nfl especially at the catch point he’s very clearly still an alpha wr. Obviously he’s not Jerry rice nobody is but he’s very good. Secondly banks didn’t have a good game but it wasn’t that bad either. For the most part he’s usually in position to make a play and has good coverage his main issue is that he consistently gets beat at the catch point especially by wrs with strong hands like cooper and Jefferson. Veteran wrs are able to take advantage of cbs like that because they find little points of leverage. Banks needs to figure out how to take away that leverage and honestly that starts in the weight room. He’s very clearly reliant on his athleticism as a man corner which is why he’s a better zone corner atp because he plays zone much more cerebrally. He just consistently gets out-muscled and out-leveraged at the point of attack and that’s what’s holding him back from being a really good corner. ATP he’s shown to be pretty solid but not great as a very young corner but usually corners like him take 3 years to reach their stride. Idk if his issues are ever going to go away fully but with some time in the weight room and when his feet aren’t stuck in the mud he will be just fine
