I tried this method at first with my current version being 12.5.4 and i had issues with my touchscreen once i rebooted. After realizing what i did wrong i was able to fix my touchcreen problem by typing fastboot flash boot boot.img in CMD and then fastboot reboot to fix it. Once fixed, i tried rooting my phone again only this time i downloaded the correct stock firmware for my phone and then copied the boot.img from my stock firmware folder and placed it in the rootredmi9 folder as well as the platform tools folder and deleted the old boot.img files. Then i downloaded the latest magisk manager to my phone and copied the boot.img file to my internal storage on my phone to patch it through magisk. After i transfered the patched file to my PC and replaced the old magisk patched .img files with the new one i just created, i copied it to the rootredmi9 folder as well as the platform tools folder. Then finally i followed the same instructions again using the new boot.img file as well as the new patched file i made and then everything worked and i was able to root my phone easily.

Can you tell me how to relock bootloader of my Poco M3, I downgraded my phone from 12.0.4 to 12.0.3 and now if I relock the bootloader with your method of fastboot oem lock my device says the system image is destroyed, if I re-unlock the bootloader then my device works fine. Pls help me sir.
dear, bootloader cannot be relock if using xiaomi . eu rom and also if your set is of china variant then bootloader will not be relock if flashing global rom on china variant
